Store is clean. Good selection. Pretty much a regular Kroger. Service is friendly. There is a Starbucks inside.

Love the wide selection and quality of organic fruits and vegetables Kroger has. They really care about their customers. Prices are always reasonable. I come here first and always count on finding the best quality and best display to easily find what I need. Thank you Kroger!

I've been to a lot of krogers but this has always had the Freshest produce, best sweet selection. It is absolutely my favorite and even tho its a 16 min drive definitely worth it!! 😊 even pick up always gives me fresh everything. Absolutely love this store ā¤ļø

Huge shutout to Charlotte in the bakery department for making incredible cupcakes in the shape of a horseshoe for our Kentucky derby party! They were a huge hit! Thank you!

Nora was an amazing help! I didn’t know what type of ice cream to get so she spent the time to help me pick out one she thought I would like. Honestly this girl deserves a raise! 10/10 service

This Kroger is clean. Went inside the first set of doors and grabbed a few wipes but as I did so I accidentally dropped my keys in this lot where you throw away the wipes after you are done using them. Asked a worker for help to retrieve my keys...bc the bottom part is locked so I couldn't just access it on my own. After a few minutes I got help and got my keys back. I went in for one item and was able to find it fairly quickly. Went to self checkout. The only downside is that the self check-out says that it does not accept cash. Which also means that you can't get can back. This is something I see way too many times at Kroger self checkout now. If Kroger's is going to replace a lot of cashier's with the self checkouts ( not IF, but they have !) Then they should make all things assessable just like as if you were to go through a regular line do you have a cashier and helping you. Otherwise, I do like this location! Also, there are a few places surrounding it such as a bank and restaurants. So you can get your shopping done and got a bite to eat and stop at the bank all at once if needed at this location!

Kroger: Fresh For Everyone. We make sure all of our ready to eat sliced fruit and bags of lettuce are sold on the same shelf as... raw chicken. It's right by the entrance for an easy grab and go meal of salad and raw fruit contaminated by raw chicken and maybe death lol. Fresh for Everyone but extremely unprofessional, stupid, and CRIMINALLY negligent.

My experience Last night. Late around 8-9 pm guard at check out was rude and aggressive. The new teenage representative working was openly saying comments about customers, getting agitated to assist. I reported her to the manager on duty .she would get upset when having to clear self check out and say (what the F:*!) she then got upset at customers for not going to the line she wanted. If she had to clear an item from a screen she openly showed attitude. She turned her aggression toward me and started making rude comments to where you can hear and then would turn around like she never said it. I continued to check out, the New security guard said I could not use the Belt self check out, I informed him we do this all the time. He said 25 or less. I said when did that start we always use this lane (the belt self check out) the manager walked passed and told him ā€œWe don't have a limit in this laneā€ and let me continue checking out. He then got upset and found reasons to pick with me as I'm actively scanning items. He loudly told me I didn't scan a water I had 3 and scanned two. I still had a full basket. The manager heard and told him ā€œshe's still checking outā€ I responded ā€œI’m really going to steal a $5 bag of water!ā€ He further harrassed me and stood in front of me. When he went back to his spot the teenager started openly making rude comments about me to the security guard and the security guard started laughing. (All In front of my kids)I took their picture so I could report them and she said ā€œI want to slap her, I don't Careā€. I responded to her and the manager took her away. Normally we really like this Krogers, today was not a great experience and really unprofessional. Security Gaurd Jackson is the type of officer that overly exhorts his authority to where people might get hurt due to his negligence and lack of self control.

My son went into to order a corsage and no one would help him despite him asking multiple people. One employee began talking to her friend and said, ā€œthat kid just needs to leave.ā€ And refused to help him. Kroger, please teach your employees how to treat customers of all ages and races with respect. You didn’t just loose him, you lost me as well.

Not what this used to be, it was Hyde Park Kroger, select goods, premium stuff, In seafood department a jumbo shrimp is a 21-25, merely a notch above a salad shrimp, pre cut steaks are better at Walmart which for me is hard to say, when they expanded it dropped a notch, been going for over 40 years, now once a week maybe, too much competition around, and they should take notice

Yo, yo, yo! Roy Da Boy in the house!Ahem… let me drop some bars about that Kroger in Hyde Park Plaza, Cincinnati, Ohio. You know, the one where the vibes are as fresh as the produce aisle.Verse 1: Yeah, I hit up that Kroger, Hyde Park style, where the hustle's real, and the aisles go wild. Busy and crowded, that's the daily scene, Folks grabbing avocados like they're chasin’ a dream.Pre-Chorus: But hold up, hold up, let me break it down, the selection ain't Oakley, but it holds its own crown. Variety's the spice of life, that's the truth, from cereal to kombucha, they got the juice.Chorus: Hyde Park Kroger, you're my go-to spot. Even when it's packed, I don't lose my plot. I'm browsing the snacks, feeling kinda blessed. And the checkout line? Yeah, it's a stress test.Verse 2: Produce section's lit, like a neon sign, organic kale, spinach, and grapes so fine. Butcher's block got that prime rib game. I'm eyeing those steaks like they're my claim to fame.Pre-Chorus: Yeah, it's not the biggest store in the city, but it's got heart, and that's what makes it gritty. I'm sippin' on my cold brew, feeling alive, navigating the crowd, doing my grocery jive.Chorus: Hyde Park Kroger, you're my go-to spot. Even when it's packed, I don't lose my plot. I'm browsing the snacks, feeling kinda blessed. And the checkout line? Yeah, it's a stress test.Bridge: Now, the Oakley store, it's got that bougie flair, Wide aisles, fancy cheeses, and organic air. But Hyde Park Kroger, you're my everyday jam, Where the struggle's real, but the deals still slam.Chorus: Hyde Park Kroger, you're my go-to spot. Even when it's packed, I don't lose my plot. I'm browsing the snacks, feeling kinda blessed. And the checkout line? Yeah, it's a stress test.Outro: So shoutout to the crew stacking shelves, navigating chaos, dealin’ with our deli needs. Hyde Park Kroger, you're my MVP. Keep hustlin, keep vibin', and keep my grocery bags free.Roy Da Boy, out!

Once perhaps the marquee Kroger in Cincinnati the new Marketplace Krogers, especially in neighboring Oakley, makes this store seem now like just a good neighborhood grocery store. Still, has a UC health clinic, the ubiquitous Starbucks and a Sushi bar. Did experience a women pushing a cart by me, presumably an employee, hawking some scheme (credit card?) to save me money on my bill today and in the future. Strange.

Cramped aisles, rude people. Claustrophobic atmosphere. UScans everywhere. Also whoever decided to decorate the uscan lights in red/green christmas... good job making people wonder which ones are open or not.

the bathroom situation at this Kroger has been atrocious as of late. no sane person running a grocery store would allow the paper towels and soap to simply lie on the counter covered in God knows what people have on their hands when they leave the toilet. makes me wonder what else they are neglecting. so sad because i used to love it there but me and my whole family are going to Meijer from now on. Early indications are that their management are not oblivious, negligent, and horrible.

I don’t normally write reviews like this, but I went to this Kroger today and idk if the employees are just having a bad day or what. When I walked into the front, there was a guy pushing carts in from the parking lot and trying to get them into the stalls. Everyone who had just walked in was standing off to the side out of his way so he could do his job, but he started screaming at everyone to move and get out of his way and then tried to smash the carts into place. When that didn’t work, he pulled the carts back out and screamed the F word while repeatedly smashing the carts together. So that was weird and uncomfortable. Then when I was at the self checkout, one of the girls working was complaining to her coworker that her job is boring and stupid and they don’t do anything. Some people at the self checkout needed assistance, but these two girls were too busy talking loudly about how bored they are and how much their job sucks. Very unsettling experience over all.

The inside Kroger itself was fine until we went to check out. The deal they had on the pop we were buying didn't come up, which is fine because sometimes that happens. The issue came when we tried to get the attendant at the self checkout to help us. We told her the problem and show said, she thought it was with a different brand. We insisted it was both and asked if she could check. She looked the deal up on her phone and saw it was correct. Then we asked if she could help to which she replied "no" and went off to help someone else. My girlfriend wanted to just pay like normal because she doesn't like confrontation. I know it's a few bucks but it's also the principal of the thing, you know? I went to find someone capable at the customer service desk but the attendant rushed over while I was in line and started relaying my problem. The customer service attendant agreed that it was "weird" and there was nothing they could do until I chimed in. "Could some just go check?" She asked if it was my problem. When I said it was she was all too eager to help and go check the signage even though the attendant already had. A couple managers passed us while we were waiting and I asked one of them if she could help us. She just pointed at the attendant, who stood, swinging her arms back and forth and said "she's helping you." After a while the "customer service" lady came back and confirmed we were telling the truth and that she didn't know why it wasn't coming up. Instead of just fixing it and comping us the few bucks she just tapped pay and go back a few times while our ice cream continued to melt in our cart. Apparently, one of the SKUs wasn't coming up correctly. Again, I get that POS systems can not always work and that sometimes all the SKUs aren't in the system yet but you do NOT make the customer feel like they are lying. You do NOT blow them off. All of the employees we encountered seemed to have an air of superiority that I did not appreciate. Worst Kroger ever.

I've been a customer with this grocery chain for decades now. It used to be my favorite grocery store, but lately quality control is nearly nonexistent, with this brand. In the past month alone I've purchased several items that I ended up having to throw away. Package of rotten chicken thighs $9.00, moldy bag of shredded cheese $17.00, undercooked and overpriced private selection baked goods $12.00, several bagged salads at $5.00 a pop with rusty looking lettuce inside. After purchasing the aforementioned bad chicken, I made the stupid decision to go back for more. While searching through the packed chicken, I noticed a package that looked like a balloon. (When a package has become swollen it's really bad. Bacteria are now feeding on the rotten food and excreting gases. THIS IS DISGUSTING, PEOPLE!) When I brought the issue to the attention of the employee in the meat department, she acted irritated and inconvenienced. Wrong reaction!!As far as the rest of the staff is concerned, I'd be generous in saying that very obviously half the people working there do not care. They don't care enough to do their jobs and they certainly aren't concerned about the quality of food they sell, and how very sick they are making people.I'm not going to just pass this off as "people these days". This kind of complacency and lack of work ethic trickles down. Get it together Kroger! YOU ARE SUCKING AT THIS!!!Sincerely,An Angry Former Customer

I use a cane but cannot walk long distances and so I need to use the motorized carts. My issue is that several are broken: no alarm when backing up, stopping for no known reason (full battery but just won't move), and then today I had to try 3 carts that had full batteries that wouldn't move when turned on! It's painful moving from cart to cart, and beyond frustrating that carts, meant for people with mobility issues, seem to be of no importance to staff. When asked about the backup alarm, front desk associates ask "would you rather have one that moves or nothing?" I already feel self conscious about coming into the store with my neurological disorder, but to have staff write off and ignore my needs for accommodation is simply wrong. Furthermore, to ignore needs (like alarms) is dangerous to all involved. I nearly hit a family when I backed up because they came around a corner after I looked and, without a backup alarm, they didn't notice my approach. I don't want to be involved in an accident in your store because of your negligence and inability to provide a working, accessible motorized cart.

The worst customer service experience you’ll ever encounter. This used to be a flagship store for Kroger but it has become a place where employees make the simple act of buying groceries an unpleasant experience. Management here should be fired for hiring -and retaining-such an unpleasant staff. Shame on you Kroger. Go to Meijer.

Just was at this location with my family of 5. Thought we'd give kroger a try again after not shopping there for awhile because of the convenience. When we were checking out a lady was trying to stand and reserve a checkout during the busiest time of day. She then tried to provoke me into a fight with her because I started scanning my groceries. I didn't engage her and tried to keep my children where I could see them as there was a clearly unstable woman in front of me, threatening us. She then proceeded to get in my wife's face while she was holding our 3 month old daughter trying to provoke some type of violence. She then turned to another customer and began some type of fight with her by starting to yell about white people. In the end I had to basically run out of the store to avoid being involved in a brawl at the checkout with my 3 children under 5.This woman should've been removed from the store immediately and never allowed back. If I could give 0 stars, I would. this was insane.

NEVER order pickup from here. They are always running late. I have placed my order for 5-6pm a few times and got a call that it was pushed back until 8. When I went at 8, they didn’t bring my order out for another 30 minutes. They are very disorganized. It’s a waste of time and money. Even when they do bring out your order, they sometimes forget to substitute things and so you have to run into the store anyway, which is what I was trying to avoid by doing the pickup option! My girlfriend also placed a $70 order and it ā€œglitchedā€ so the total was $140 and it’s been a week and they haven’t refunded her yet. Crazy! Don’t shop here!

Don’t do a pickup order. Waited 20 mins during my time slot until I was alerted that my order wasn’t ready and I should come back in an hour. I came back and was then told two of my items were out of stock. I went in the store and bought them myself (lol) and the girl at checkout said ā€œthey just say that when they can’t find it.ā€ LMFAAAOOO one star just for her that’s truly iconic. But yeah massive waste of time and a huge inconvenience šŸ¤™šŸ¼āœØšŸ™šŸ¼

Management and MOST of the employees that work with management at the Guest Care desk AND the Boost Membership is such a failed disappointment to our family and friends. We have lived in this area for 53 years and we have shopped at this location since it’s conception. Personally I have seen a lot of changes esthetically, however the attitudes of MOST of the employees is jaw dropping and appalling. The conversations they hold with one another about personal life, foul language while on the phones while fulfilling customers orders. Most even disrespectful to management. The cleanliness, friendliness, and lack of what the meaning OF TRUE GUEST CARE has failed at this location on every level. The BOOST MEMBERSHIP is a joke. The management clearly is a reflection of the workers. A team is only as strong as it's leaders.

Customer service team in this location needs to be trained to at least pretend that they care. I returned an expired cereal that I bought a week ago, and the associate didn’t even feign concern that they are actually selling a product which expired almost 6 months ago. Instead of apologizing, she had the gall to tell me to check the expiration date when I buy!!! Sometime ago, I approached them because there’s a long line at the only cashier that’s open early in the morning and all I got as a response is that its the corporate HQ’s fault and they’re also not happy about it. At that point, I was thinking, so what are they paying you for? To whine about your company in front of your customers šŸ˜€

Honestly, I was really impressed by this Kroger. There is a bar in the alcohol department. Friendly employees, reasonable prices, well stocked, cleaned, and it even looks nice here! My personal favorite is that you can get meals for $5 in the frozen section! That's not bad at all! I definitely recommend coming here.
