Good selection. Easy to park. Not the biggest location I’ve been to, but does the job.I liked the discount bakery option (“oops, we baked too much.”)Good coffee selection. Friendly staff. Check out was easy when I was there (self-checkout)

Dartilous VERY GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! He is the only employee that offered me and my handicap client a hand in the many groceries we had! Thanks so much

I understand the issues that affect the area, this is a Kroger that is in the city and serves all types of clients from college students to grandparents. It's a busy store, and it feels a little cramped in here but I was able to get myself to where I needed to go and out fairly well. I've read the other reviews and I have to agree there's a lot of patrons here who do not follow the covid requirements. I have an experience the bakery or deli so I can't really attest to the long lines that are stated about it. Overall I do think that this Kroger is fairly well kept only time will tell.

Kroger has begun to take advantage of their place in the market. The prices are so high on some things and they are marketing to the volume model. If you want to pay a decent price check out W. Update to this review. No response from Kroger. They had a sign in the area with strawberry containers warning of high prices due to bad weather etc. Basically supply issues. Funny that no other retailer had any need for a sign. Went to Walmart, Meijer, target, fresh market, trader Joe's, Aldi, IGA etc. I won't go on any further. My advice... Put your grocery list in to the retailers website as if you are going to have it delivered. But, have multiple retailer sites up. You will know pretty quickly who will give you the best bang without having to buy 3 of this 2 of that. You know what I mean.

If the u scan employee would focus on the billon Christmas customers instead be on her phone, when people are already at heightened levels of anxious behavior, that would benefit the entire flow. Customers were getting every upset, made the whole experience uncomfortable for me as a regular consumer. Just go another mile or so to Oakley Marketplace. They are always crowded but attentive, and keeping pace with the flow.

Shout out to Stephanie the cashier at Norwood Krogers. I purchased a Rotisserie chicken, and hot sauce(obviously), amongst seven bags worth of other items. Get home to find the chicken and the hot sauce in the same bag; like, she already knew what time it was. As young people like to say, " she understood the assignment." I know big corporations don't like to look out for nobody but management, but Stephanie, she need a fuhkn raise. I've gotten chicken from that KFC and they didn't put hot sauce in any bag. Shout out to Stephanie

It’s always insulting to find these weird “loss prevention” tactics implemented in close proximity to Black communities. Here, at this Kroger—and in no other Kroger I have personally visited—they have all the baby and hygiene items in a specially enclosed area. If you’re shopping for groceries and hygiene items, you will be required to wait in two lines and make two separate purchases. Not only does this completely disregard any respect for the customer’s time, but it disrespectfully implies that the members of this Black community are more inclined to stealing hygiene items. I’m offended and I intend to compare this practice with locations in poor White communities to determine if the practice is racially motivated. If Kroger isn’t doing the same thing in Price Hill, then Houston we have a problem…and a law suit

Pretty terrible location. It has a really weird layout, and is always always busy. A ton of strange items are locked up (baby formula, personal hygiene, etc.). Maybe make baby formula actually affordable and people wouldn’t have reasons to steal it.

I need to let the employees and workers know something that's going on at the Norwood Ohio Montgomery road Krogers. Someone keeps leaving their beagle/Weiner dog chained up at the entrance when you first walk in the dog keeps jumping on me and my family cutting our legs up from it's sharp claws. Can someone please tell the owner of the dog to quit leaving it out their unattended while they are shopping in the store. My kids now have bloody red scratches all up on their legs now. Please do something because if we see this again we will have to report it to someone else. Thank you krogers!😑

I bought a pepsi 20oz... Not sure if Chloe and her bagger took it. But they did not ask me if I wanted it in the bag or not... The biggest problem. I always look over at where the people stand where the phones are by the cigarettes are at, They Do Not Answer the phones. I called and the phone rung and NO One Answered it.Question ... Do we really need workers that DO NOT CaRE for their jobs and customers at Norwood Krogers? Hyde Park is better

This is my neighborhood store and they never have stock of staples. I haven't found the 18 ct. Eggs in stock in months, the bread isle was more than half empty, and today there are no eggs. There is rarely much fruit. Standing in front of the empty egg station, an employee said that they don't keep any back stock on eggs, so by the end of the day, there's none left when she does her shopping after work. The vegetable isle was half empty as well. This has been an ongoing issue for me as I am only free to shop in the evening. Maybe I just have the worst timing of stock days, but this is the third straight time I've been here in the last few months that I've experienced this.

I went through self checkout. That system is accusatory. It implies you didn't scan items often. It requested assistance when you didn't to double check you didn't steal. It's quicker but very irritable.

It's my least Kroger from the ones Ive gone to. It's a smaller store compared to the others I've gone to in Oakley, Fairfield, Northern Kentucky, Hamilton, Sharonville, Downtown Cincinnati etc. To me, some of their departments look a bit sad, meaning not as many options, things out of stock, customer service isn't there. The cashier charged me for an item that wasn't even mine & didn't bother to return me the refund until I asked. Even then it seemed it annoyed her, the bagger seems bored. You'll see him, the bigger guy. Very monotone & no facial expressions towards me, but put a good looking woman he would be doing his best to help.To me, the store is just ehh. Ghetto is probably the best without sugarcoating anything. It's a decent store, just service, things being out of stock & employees don't seem to want to be there.

Terrible experience being harassed by employee. Kroger is allowing customers to be abused by bully on staff. I've been robbed in parking lot, an unsafe place inside and out.

This rent'a- rollie decided to call for back up on me for paying for my groceries, and wouldn't let me leave the store, then told me that I wasn't allowed back in the store, tried of being harassed at my local store.

Avoid if possible. The single worst grocery store I've ever visited.Everything is a mess, from the shelves to the restrooms to the checkout lanes. Have seen multiple fights/assaults here over the past 2 years. Extremely ghetto. Kind of surprised corporate doesn't put in more of an effort given this location's proximity to Xavier.

Was in the self check having coupon issues today. A worker by the name of Chris attended us and helped resolve our issue in a very professional way. It was by far the best experience I’ve had here thanks to him!

A decent Kroger for a quick stop to pick up a few things. If you are aIn a hurry skip the deli. Has pharmacy and floral sections but the Starbucks was removed a while back.

I had a very bad experience october 8, 2022. The cashier forgot to asked me about my Kroger rewards card. He was scanning quickly and paid. Once, in the parking lot, I realized it. I went back. Customer service was closed. It was not 8 pm. This was Saturday. Then, they told me to spoke to the manager. This manager did not want to open customer service. It was worse. He told me that it was my respobsibility to scan my customer rewards card. He said to me "don't we give you fuel points, anyway'. This is worse. Basically, he said to me to be content what I spent. I will go today to return some items. Ask for my discount. I am a college student. Cashiers need better training. Kroger has made billions and billions. Can they care for their customers? Can they be helpful instead of rude? Can they be efficient? Honor your WORK.

Make sure you check expiration date on any food. They constantly have food +3 months out of date. Pain to return or replace with no compensation for wasted time.

I had a worse experience in Norwood Kroger branch from the manager Wade and the staff Dantel. They both were acting too unkind and unfriendly toward me. They don't care about customer service. It is all about the policy and transaction to them. I bought the frozen fish bag was on sale from $6.49 to $5.99 but the staff Dantel check the label in the store and took it off. He said he will honor me the price $5.99 since it was rhere. So I asked if I can get two bags, he won't allow to honor me for both bags for $5.99. The total would be discounted for $1.00 if he allows. So I asked to speak to the manager Wade, he treated me like I was giving hard time to them. I was so mad the way he treated me. He refused to do it too and keep saying that the way policy works. On top of that he gave me attitude too.

Some of the people who work at this Kroger seem to be good, I've met some nice people behind the Deli counter, but by and large the store is just a mess. Whoever the evil manager is that makes everyone want to quit needs to be fired lol.For instance, why does the fried chicken counter seem to stop... producing food, after like, 5PM? I've come by at 6 to pick up some meals for dinner and there was just nothing there---it was totally closed down and you couldn't get anything fresh. The sides were also nowhere to be seen... okay. What, do people not eat dinner later than 5? What is this? A worker behind the deli counter, when asked about where the food was, told me that she had spoken to coworkers and told them it shouldn't be like this. I've been back to the store several times since then and only seen the fried chicken out once. The store has kind of an odd selection where a lot of alcohol is segregated off inside of a store-within-a-store in a "liquor store" area with a surprisingly poor selection. The actual store itself is pretty big for a Kroger and is busy nearly 24/7. The store is usually fairly clean and staffing is okay. It seems like it was recently remodeled.Would be great if they kept serving the take home meals past 5:00pm? I've been here several times and only once did I see a selection of fried chicken available. Why? Kroger fried chicken is pretty great! At least there's a KFC in the same parking lot. The store doesn't seem to be kept in the best state of restocked either, things are just kind of all over the place---particularly in the breads section. I'm not sure if it's lingering covid problems but other stores don't seem to really have this issue.

The liquor store has a nice assortment, however the gentleman behind the register was extremely rude. I asked to bring in an empty cart as I was planning a large purchase. Instead of just telling me no he told me to exit the store and read the sign. In small print on the sign it said no carts. I ended up going elsewhere as he was disrespectful.
