It was around 1pm on 9/15/23. Sorry to say: The MESSIEST, most unorganized Gabe's I've been to to date. Clothes, shoes and other merchandise all over the floors and clothes strung over racks. That part is due to lazy customers not putting things back where they found them, BUT when you see employees and even a manager walking past these messes and not picking things up and putting them back in place that's the bigger issue. While in line the cashier needed the manager's assistant, she paged the manager three times and the manager was nowhere to be found, so the customer said "the h*ll with this" and walked out, sadly the manager NEVER showed up, (poor customer service on the manager's end). The three cashiers were doing a great job with the long line of customers 👍. Shame on the manager for a poor job on her end. Reasonable prices

Love the deals, but this place is so disorganized, just plain messy. Can't get a cart through any aisle without running over stuff, such a trip hazard place.

I just wanna say if you in need of help whatever it is your looking for Ms.Betty is the one that will assist you the best. Not only I feel like she’s an outstanding person shes a great lead at Gabe’s. She went over and beyond for me and my mother. When no one could help us with our problem she made a way and I greatly appreciate her. We need more hard workers like Ms.Betty you make a difference in this world and it meant a lot to me and I thank you on the behalf of my family and me 🏽⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Great deals on everything, I got dove spray deodorant double the size u get at Walmart or kroger or target where they charge almost 10.00, I got mine for 3.99

More merchandise on the floor than on the racks now and the store is a complete mess, no organization to the clothing anymore. Did they get a new manager or something? None of the old staff are there anymore apparently. Not having air conditioning in the building is a huge problem shopping here. I can't blame them for leaving. I agree with a previous reviewer, this store needs to get out of this neighborhood.

A very valuable department store. If you go at the right time, you could find Nike, Addias, and all other name brands 70% off! Best advice: If you see something you like, get it then! There's no guarantee it will be there tomorrow!

I shop here frequently, they have good prices, and quality clothing. One staff member in particular goes above and beyond for customers, she is very polite and professional. I asked this young lady her name it is kaylee she is so sweet and always willing to help.

I got there right at closing time and was looking for something they didn't actually have. But it had been a long time since I'd been there. They have much better items now. I'll definitely go back when I have more time

Bought silverware and there was only the piece s on the front of the box had to go back an return 4 other packs on the shelf was just like it check your stuff before leaving the store

Game's is a new millennium Value City. I LOVED the selection, variety and prices of everything. I'm able to get Reebok apparel there which can be hard to find. Lots of brand names at GREAT prices. Thumbs high! 👍

Honestly has gone quite down hill recently. The atmosphere is just off. The store could be better organized and cleaned. The deals are hard to pass, but I just felt like the store wasn't kept up daily as it should be.

They used to have more options with better prices, BUT now this Gabe's is as expensive as Macy's, AND the waiting line to checkout is way to long, you spend 25% of your time in this store shopping when you spend the other 75% of your time waiting to pay for what you picked!!!Update 02/14/2024: the store is becoming huge mess at the clothing area for women, men and even kids, everything is mixed up with everything, pants, shirts, jackets, shorts, activewear, dress and more will all be found mixed in one row. I will save myself a trip and not give it a shot when looking for clothes, except if you have the entire day to go over every piece.They seriously need to shut the store for at least one day and sorting it out by criteria and by size as well. Very disappointing!!

It's pretty busy, but I can always find what I usually need. Some of the cashiers are very nicely friendly and also make a difference when the cashier knows exactly what she is doing when she makes a mistake. Ask for help. I will definitely go back to the store on Harrison Rd.

Horrible shopping experience horrible customer service and bought the boys new winter coats and the cashier could not remove the alarm band on the coats had to cut them off at home and they forgot the alarm things on their winter hats as well and checking out was so so long no one knew what they were doing worst gabes store ever would not recommend this store at all on Harrison ave take the extra time to go to a different store

I think the prices for ordinary products at Gabe's are reasonable, but when it comes to top notch brands, this store is in no way cheaper than any other major company. Similarly, what I find most inconvenient about Gabe's store is that there is no organization of products inside and you pretty much have to spent enormous amount to find if you are looking for something in particular.

I love Gabe's. You do have to hunt for what you're looking for in the clothing but the savings are well worth the work. The staff is friendly and checking out is much quicker since the interior facelift. Always enjoy my trips to Gabe's.
