This store is supposed to accept the Ucard and they do, however they complain about the rules and change the rules. I tried to buy items that are allowed but since management doesn't understand how it works, they take away items from me that I need. I refuse to go back to that store. It's the only one that is in the neighborhood but I choose to walk to the nearest Kroger before trying to successfully use my Ucard there again.

Open Late, Close Early, It's An Inconvenience To The community altogether. The store hours are very inconsistent they never open on time. The store aisle are always crowded. They don't want to give you cooperates number. This store really sucks. If I could give them NO STARS. They don't want to hire people so the store can run the way it's supposed to... This has been going on for almost a year... Not just due to Pandemic

There's never any carts or baskets, the aisles are filled with stock to the point t u can't get through the aisles and it smells bad. The place is absolutely filthy, the staff isn't particularly friendly and the parking lot is loaded with people that loiter and beg.

I went in here to do some shopping and they didn't have nothing to hold any of my groceries note shopping cart no shopping baskets no nothing. When I asked the workers about it they were very rude about it and said if you don't want to do it without a shopping cart go somewhere else. I will never ever go to this Dollar general again. This has to be the worst Dollar general I've ever been into

I was racially profiled by the manager of the store and her coworker all because I asked to purchase cellphones. She was rude and nasty. Then she turned at me with a snare look and says " you know you can't return these? " Mind it was cold and snowing. All because I was wearing a black hoodie, she assumed I was there to steal and I shop there all the time. The manager need to be replaced.

This store is really shameful,don't get me wrong some of the workers really want to work,but who wants a job with no hours nor any type of consistent management,it's horrible,never open daily and same time,won't hire good loyal workers because of background,I tried to help them but they wouldn't hire me and now I'm about to be a manager at my new job,it's really sad to see our community suffer because of the laziness of other grown people,wish I could have gave it a -10

Not a Karen here okay? Lol but... This location here is one of the only convenient stores that's reasonable pricing in walnut hills. Although it's very over crowded. Which is a FIRE HAZARD, Boxes and big stocking carts are in the isles you can't get down them to get the things you want, or you have to move the big carts yourself to get to stuff, it's a mess! Things are always scattered everywhere, they're always out of alot of stuff or they aren't stocking shelves, and for the past 2 months they have been having signs on the doors stating they'll be opening back up here shortly while people are standing outside waiting there is workers inside standing around and today I went again and there was another sign saying they will be closed till Saturday. And there were Workers inside as well!! A lot of laziness is going on and I don't believe it's okay to just open shop and close whenever you want. Also... Very short staffed. Idk what's going on but this store is a mess and it's been very unreliable lately

Extremely overcrowded with merchandise! Isles so narrow can' t walk through them, Extremely unorganized and customers throw stuff every where. The cashiers were friendly and efficient.. They were working their butts off ! Definitely understaffed and isles need straightened up ! Issues Definitely coming from higher up the food chain! Employees here I SEE YOU! KEEP UP THR GOOD WORK...👍 OOPS, I ALMOST FORGOT to ask, WHY IS THERE NEVER ANY NAIL GLUE!! NOT HERE, NOT FAMILY DOLLAR, NOT Kroger, EVERYWHERE IS out of nail glue!!. Which is the reason I go there alot initially, then get lost in the sauce! I get to check and forgot the ONE thing I needed and in my buggy are 63 unnecessary things! Lol

I like this store but it is always crowded with overstock or stuff that needs to be put away. Also the store is always so busy that if you need help with anything that does not pertain to checking out your going to be waiting awhile. The service is normally friendly but if you ask too many questions they tend to get snippy. I haven't had anyone that works here be flat out rude yet, but some of the customers can be down right hateful. Your going to have that any where you go. I wish the store was bigger, the Isles are very narrow and it's hard to maneuver through them. I will shop here again, however. I love the bargains.

My experience was great! This particular location is small. The store may seem cluttered, but its not. They just have to utilize their space better. I wallet appreciates their prices and I'm glad they accept the OTC card.

Need to stay stocked. Open various hours, boxes everywhere, sloppy store. Need new management really bad. We are tired of this store being runned like it is. Mainly the store hours, They open at 3:00pm, then they close at 6:00 pm. This has been going on for months, then just this week, they are doing regular hours, which is,,I don't know.

Rudest employees I have ever witnessed in a store add a double team me then the second one said I'm sure there's other stores around here and that's all she needed to say I went elsewhere and then they kept trying to goad me into an argument which of course I didn't fall for but worse experience or one of them in my life and the store never go back there again

First off the Bawld Black lady is VERY RASICT ALWAYS!! Second it's sooo over crowded with carts of New Stuff EVERYDAY you go in there that you can't walk down some isles and they even just remodeled ! They are ALWAYS out of lots of things.....They really need to get that store together!

This store is close to where I live so it's convenient for quick items. The representatives are always nice and helpful when we go. They always seem to have inventory out in the aisles. Since a new, bigger DG opened close to me we may visit that one more but I will still go to this one when I need to.

I love the people who work here! You just have to understand they are sometimes short staff and have so many responsibilities that they become overwhelmed! I always have a great visit and chit chat with the employees! Keep up the good work team!

I stopped here today. I needed a quick snack and picked up some Bumble Bee ready to eat chicken salad, very cost effective for my need at the time. This product comes with a small spoon inside. It was good. I wanted more believe it or not. This Dollar General is packed with a lot of products. Every aisle is full of usable goods ready to use and consume. The floor and freezers were clean. I will have to visit this location more frequently because it was so organized for the customer. Hey...the tellers were very polite. (@Walnut Hills location, Cincinnati, Ohio)

I would highly recommend going to a different location. This store is a disaster. Its completely unorganized and in utter chaos. I couldn't hardly get my cart through the store there was so much stuff piled every where. What they did have on their shelves was very sparse and picked over, just don't waste your time.

Customer service is great! The long wait line should be evaluated. This store is in a high volume area. Every time I visit. It's a line. I shop and go check out. There's 4+ shoppers in front of me and 4+ shoppers behind me.

The 5 stars was an accident. I would give it a 3. Only because of the very nice employees. The store is messy. Very unorganized. Lots of merchandise is opened or destroyed. Someone needs to go in there and reorganize. It's a mess in there!!!!!!

Every time I come in this store it's understaffed and poorly ran. There is always a long wait to check out. Employees are sometimes rude and most times unpleasant. There should be a security guard at the door to handle all of the theft. The current team could definitely use some extra help! I always dread going to this location, my positive visits have been few and far between.

Its cool they added more food and drinks but they took away the clothes and children's medication & a lot more. I guess CVS will be getting my money instead of dollar general. Crazy how dollar general can't and won't sell kids meds any more they barley have anything for kids I'm giving a 1 star die to they done have kids medication like they used to.

I love this store and I usually find everything I need,but the problem is the location and I've seen quite a few drug deals in the parking lot. The store definitely needs an officer on standby. The staff is very nice to me and inside the store is very clean yet cluttered.

If you watch the specials or the emails you can get really good deals are a variety of products. The store is clean although it is cluttered. The staff is mediocre offering to help but once engaged they usually do a good job try and solve your problem

Even though I do not live in the neighborhood anymore. To me it is STILL a great place to shop. I come from EVANSTON to shop there; that won't change. When KROGER'S moved out of the neighborhood several years ago. The DOLLAR GENERAL became my lifeline. I suspect it became a lifeline for others too. Thank you DG for existing. 🙂

This is a popular neighborhood store on the east side. It is a mile or two north of downtown Cincinnati. The store has plenty of parking with additional spaces in the large lot adjacent to the store. This is a large #dollargeneral store. It's clean and organized and well stocked. The manager and employees are friendly, helpful and hard working. All appropriate #covid19 precautions are present and mask wearing is required. Here you can find good snacks, soda, water, basic baking essentials, your everyday meal necessities, personal care items, gift cards, cell phone accessories and household and cleaning supplies. With sufficiently wide aisles and reasonable prices the store has a lot of foot traffic including a lot of local walk up customers. Dollar General is okay they need more security guards their people is always running in there and still it now there are several Dollar General there's one on William Howard Taft there's one in Norwood and there's another one and Bond Hill and all of my pretty much the same the one in Norwood's a bit congested and they do all of them really do need more security guards can people off and going and take with them alone to death but I still recommend Dollar General store because they keep up with today's society
