Dollar General on Harrison Pike in Dent is one of Dollar General's shining stars. The store is packed with quality products, displayed neatly and professionally, and is clean and neat. The variety of stock is amazing. Their food section is chock-full of great, quality items. The quanity and quality of cleaners and laundry products is so helpful. I was pleased to see the variability of pet food products. Again, all items were neatly placed, clean and well stocked. They also had a cute children's section, mostly for young children 10 years or younger. Friendly staff, quality products and easy shopping experience.

I can get quite a variety of items, including food. It's close to home, small and never too crowded. I try to get as much here and stay out if the bigger stores. The employees are usually friendly. Seems to be a lot of turnover.

Well stocked and well kept "Dollar Store." Staff is friendly enough. The store basically a glorified mini Walmart. Also Redbox outside is a huge plus. Disclaimer everything is not a dollar as the name of store may lead you to believe. No restroom. There is free parking. Cold pop.

I used to love DG on Harrison Ave. They used to have a lot of unusual things for the household. It was great to go in and get a little rug or lamp. And they remodeled and honestly became like all the other dollar stores. Most of their stuff is cheap now and it's good for food or a quick laundry item. Such a shame.

I shop here only because I'm on a budget. My daughter got sick she has to go to the bathroom and management screamed at her to go outside and get sick. And then when she didn't make it in time he yelled at her and basically told her to get out of the store. But because I was still in the store shopping he couldn't kick her out. I wouldn't go there but because of low income you go where you have to shop.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE DOLLAR STORE ! I could easily spend 2-4 hours shopping for great finds & I spend so much less money on everything! Just a place to really spend hours on SAVING MONEY !

If I could leave negative stars I definitely would. I ran here today to pick up some last minute Christmas items I needed and I didn't want to go to a big store to get.As I walked in the store, just like every store, I was asked if I had a mask. No I do not. I have a doctor letter giving me a medical exemption from wearing one because of my breathing. The two employees were rude and told me I could not shop in THEIR store unless I wore one. I told them that went again the Governor's mandate and CDC guidelines and they didn't care. They had rules. So I told them they had lost my business!! And I do spend quite a bit at Dollar General, just not this store. I will NEVER go back!! Im not going to hold my breath behind a mask when the governor and my doctor say I dont have to!!! SHAME!!! So I went right down the plaza to Dollar Tree and bought the same things I would have and spent ALOT LESS money!!!

Finished at the BMV early, went in looking for my grandpa. Looked down each aisle, maybe in the front of the store for 2 minutes. Didn't see him. When I walked outside, the employee followed me out and said I had something in my pants leg. I offered to let him search me, he wouldn't. Very rude, will NEVER be back

Will never go here again after I was treated. Cashier was very rude when a product in the ad didnt ring up correctly. She yelled at me and my father an then talked about us to badly with the manager. Couldn't get ahold of anyone when I called an complained so I emailed and was told a corporate manager would get back with me and it's been over a month an still havent heard from them.

Have never had such horrible customer service in my life. Diane was ridiculous she should not have a job her customer service skills are horrible. Acts and looks like an old wore out bar maid. Rude disrespectful as can be will be calling corporate after this experience. Have video to attach.

I usually have good things to say about everywhere I visit because I see the positive in things but at the end of my visit when it was time to check out, I was barely acknowledged and I repeated a question 3 times and I just got a head shake. I know the holidays are hectic but that's a little too much.

It's a dollar store but I love because the are always something's that you find and can use and will cost you not much. Don't expect top of the line products but the are cheap for cleaning products and candy and cookies 😄Just a funny store to hop in sometime

I said "hello" to the cashier and was rudely ignored. I asked her to split my order, half cash and half card. She ignored that too and when I questioned her, she claimed it must have been my financial institute demanding that I only pay one way🤔🤔🤔 You get one star for the comedy act. I WILL NOT GO BACK TO THIS STORE!

I just don't know why I EVER go in here..rude and so disorganized..employees are indifferent, earbuds in while they ring you out..outside smoking, etc.. not to mention the ridiculous prices. Dont they get paid to work here??!! Go to Walmart

I shopped the outside area, which is generally clearance, but when I got inside they had put their overstock out there. Nothing was on sale! Disappointing and misleading.

Nothing is in spot that it should be. My phone # for my app didn't work an the employees were veryshort and frustrated an made it very clear that myself and the other lady was very in welcome to the point that it was almost intimidating.
