I've been taking my dog here for a year now and have had the BEST experience! He is so well taken care of and the staff is very friendly; it's nice knowing my Beans is happy and cared for when I have to work. Alexus, the groomer, is also AMAZING! I've never had a better haircut for my doodle. Would recommend this place to anyone (:

Dogtown Downtown Cincinnati has been our go-to dog daycare provider for months now. From the minute we walk in the door, till we pick the pups up after a visit, it is clear that everyone there really cares about the dogs they take care of! And as an added bonus, they have cameras so you can check in on your furry kids through their stay!

If you haven't been to Dogtown for a while, now is the time to come back! I know that I have a difficult pup, but she is greeted lovingly when she arrives. They have therapies that are helping her come out of her shell. They have plans available to meet whatever your needs are.

Disclaimer: I do NOT live in Cincinnati. Have never visited this facility in person. After doing research for a project I am working on finding a camera solution for a dog facility and viewing their cameras I would give them five stars. If I lived closer I would definitely bring my dogs to this facility.

My dog is currently there and injuredThe staff didn't even notice. We went out of the country on vacation. I asked that he be taken to my vet. My vacation is ruined which doesn’t matter.....most important the thing that matters most to me is hurt. Please save your animals from the ineptness of dog Town. An injury can hopefully be fixed but....not thanks to dogtown.

My lil guy Goose LOVES going to Dogtown! The rates are affordable and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Plus, the webcams are fun to watch while I’m at work - dogs, man. They’re the best.

Wow... So with our time at Dog town in Cincinnati in one word to describe it is eventful. At first we loved the place until a few actions that happened. Our dog Zeke was getting groomed by one of the groomers there and was cut on his ear. A chunk of his ear was cut off and the rest had to be removed on top of that from Med Vet. I called asking for a check of what I came out of pocket for their wrong doings towards my dog. At first they gave me an extremely hard time and said "well we gave you the haircut for free since we cut him"(intending they weren't going to pay the vet bill) ,and wouldn't until I threatened legal action. The next incident was our 120 pound Golden Doodle was put in the smaller dog pin when he was getting constantly humped by a dog that was in the bigger dog general population area. This dog was constantly throwing himself on top of my dog and many others as well. Even though my dog was sitting in the corner not trying to be humped by this dog the dog continued to hump in and we have a video of it happening not getting stopped by the workers there. Though my dog was the one getting pinned down and humped he was separated from the group? Why punish the dog that wasn't doing anything wrong? When I asked why he was being separated the worker said "so would you rather haven't that dog hump small dogs?". No quite frankly I wouldn't want him pinning any other dogs there. I will say Juliana is a hard worker there as a GM but overall this place I would try to avoid. On top of these things we have to wash his paws every time he comes home because there would be urine left on the ground for the dogs to play in without being cleaned up. Thanks but no thanks. Save your money.

I have recently just moved and was looking for a place to have my dog groomed. I decided to checkout dog town after searching online. I scheduled my groomers appointment two weeks prior for 5pm. The guy at the register stated I could arrive between 5-5:30 because I asked for 5:30 rather than 5 to ensure I would make because I had work that day. Upon calling and telling them I would be there around 5:10. I was told that the groomers left at 5 so I would have to reschedule. I asked them how it was possible that the groomer leaves at 5 when I scheduled the appointment for 5. They couldnt give me an answer so all in all not a great first time experience; seemed very unprofessional

I couldn't have asked for a more professional and caring facility. I haven't stopped promoting Dogtown Cincinnati. I will utilize them anytime I am in town without fear. My dog is family to me and that is exactly how they treated Gideon(my dog). He had a blast.

My dog loves coming here - it’s like bringing my dog to doggy sleep away camp. He’s so excited to go and runs in. They feed him his own food. And they are open 24 hours so it’s great for dropping off when you have early flights.

Everyday it seems an employee is always yelling at the dogs, they have an outside yard for them and all it takes is for a dog or 2 to bark, (like a dog does), and they scream at them to stop. Definitely won't take my dog here and u shouldn't either.....

My grand pup goes here and I watch him on the webcam multiple times a day. The place is clean and well kept but very, very crowded. The dogs never have any human interaction that I’ve seen and I feel bad for the females who spend their day fighting off “mounted attacks” continuously. They must be so stressed.

This is a review of Dogtown, but specifically for my guy Antonio. My husband and I have been sending our dog, Henry, to Dogtown for the past couple of years. As we are all anxious individuals, it's always been heart wrenching to have to drop him off for a few days and worry about his wellbeing (as I'm sure many of us pet owners do!) Often, Henry is hesitant to go into doggy daycare, with his tail tucked and ears back. Though, as of late, I've noticed that Antonio is usually there when Henry is dropped off and picked up. I've also noticed that they've slowly created a bond, and Antonio now knows Henry by name. My last time dropping him off, Henry was so excited to see Antonio that he was barking and jumping for joy, which has never happened before. It absolutely warms my heart to see Antonio and the staff caring for our boy, and it makes a heart wrenching drop-off that much easier. Thank you Antonio and thank you dog town!!!

Took my very clingy dog here to socialize with other dogs. I wasn't sure that he was enjoying it because he would try to hide when I was dropping him off. Then one day he just let the caretaker take his leash and walked her right to the door. It felt like that moment when the kid doesn't think you're cool enough to say bye to in front of his friends. That's the day that I realized my clingy dog was finally socializing.

My dog Athena loves it here! The staff is awesome and they are so sweet to her and also so patient whenever she needs alone time. They always take the time to explain everything to me, and I’ve seen them on cameras multiple times loving on her. This place is my saving grace as a bartender who sometimes works until 4-5 AM!!! I highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

my baby LOVES the uptown location! the people are so amazing and i can tell they love her so much and that she loves them. as soon as we get close, she is howling and sprints inside the door. i am chopped liver as soon as we walk in lol! Tatum and Antonio are amazing and so is everyone (I just don’t know all of their names). always so kind to me and accommodating. she goes for daycare and i’ve boarded her multiple times as well. i request they take her collar off and they always remember! the webcams are amazing too so i can always check on her when i’m at work. the one time in our almost 2 years she got a tiny scratch (i couldn’t even see it) they notified me quickly and reassured me she was fine but wanted to let me know. she was indeed totally fine when i picked her up. dogs play and scuffle and she always manages to come out happy as a clam, and tired!! i trust them wholeheartedly and not only is she well taken care of, she has made so many friends and it has really helped her come out of her shell.

I (and probably more importantly my dog) love Dogtown Cincinnati (Uptown)! The staff takes so much care of my dog and she loves being able to run all day. They pay special attention to each pet's needs and it's honestly such a relief to drop my dog off somewhere I can check in on her via webcam, but know she loves the place so much I don't really worry! They have great grooming on-site and their staff is incredibly sweet. Especially during this pandemic, they have kept smiles on their faces and haven't skipped a beat in customer service. We love Dogtown!

The people and the environment were so welcoming. Heidi had a great time with all the other dogs. She was exhausted after her visit but I count that as a good thing! Every time we checked the webcams she was being taken care of and there were dog her size she could play with.

Downtown Cincinnati is the best! No need to make an appointment after the initial visit. Staff is super friendly and the facility is organized. They handle a lot of dogs so they are use to being around all types. So glad I found this place

Abbey (our 1 year old Siberian Huskey) loved it. She is typically full of energy. She is worn out and sleeping. Meaning we'll have a peaceful evening.

Dogtown has been a saving grace with a puppy while working from home! Brooks absolutely LOVES his days at Dogtown. The pack leaders there are amazing and know each dog and their personalities. They also give them grace when they aren't having a great day (which happens a lot with a puppy!!). There is a lot of angst handing your furkids over to strangers, but the Dogtown Erlanger staff ease all anxiety! 10/10 recommend!

It has actually been over a year since this incident but I hoped it was a one off and didn't review. I regret this now as stories have surfaced from other dogs being injured, attacked and dying at the Dogtown locations in Cincinnati. I feel implored to share.I took my 6 month old 12 pound dog to Dogtown for a day of daycare as their interview day. Up until then, he loved other dogs. I just needed a local boarder for the holidays.Less than 30 minutes into his planned 8 hour day, they called to inform me that his claw got pinched in another dog's collar and his nail was bleeding. They said it was no big deal but they wanted to let me know that they wrapped him and are keeping him in their front section with the senior dogs for the rest of the day. I asked a few times if I needed to come get him and they said I could but he was fine. So I left him.I came to get him in the evening and his paw was still wrapped and he wasn't walking on it but I assumed it was just cumbersome. I distinctly remember them saying "if you didn't let his nails get long then he won't get hurt". When I got to the car, I opened the wrap to see if the bleeding had stopped in the 7+ hours since they called. I was horrified to discover that is entire toe nail ripped out and the tip of his toe was split open from the trauma and he was still hemorrhaging blood. I had to make two trips to emergency vets with huge bills. Its been nearly two years and even though I never took him back, he still won't let strangers or other dogs near his back legs and he still has a fear of other dogs.I won't tell other people's stories, but pay attention to the reviews that report injured dogs. A close family friends' dog was left alone with dogs that out weighed her 10x and she was brutally killed and then left in a freezer overnight until the family could get there at the Erlanger location. Look elsewhere.

Great staff - highly professional and caring. Downtown West Chester is a good facility and they offer a fabulous service. They are open 24 hours which means you can pick up and drop off your pet anytime.

The staff at Dog Town are really nice and they showed they care for the dogs.. However please be very careful with dropping your dog off there. My dog came home with two little pieces missing out of his ear (they notified me) and he had noticeable scratches all over his body. He came back under weight (ribs showing) hungry and thirsty, which caused him to throw up and be sick. He also slept for nearly 2 days straight, didn’t want to go on walks, and wasn’t strong enough to move a lot. He wasn’t the same dog I had when I picked him up that day.. this wasn’t the case the other times he went there, he had a great time. In their defense my dog likes to play pretty hard but if the dogs were playing that rough they should’ve been separated before anything like his case could happen. I think they have too many dogs in there at once therefore they can’t actually keep an eye on what is going on. This was a traumatizing experience for the both of us.. Just make sure this place is for your dog before sending them their. (He was there for 3 nights)

On our third day of daycare and I can tell my dog doesn't hate it. "Doesn't hate it" is the highest praise my dog gives haha. It's clean, pickup and dropoff are quick and simple, they have cameras to check in, and the package prices are really reasonable.

I started taking my dog there 6 months ago, and I honestly should've stopped taking her there after the first few instances, but I chose to trust the people who were in contact with me when she would be injured. Her first month there, she was attacked by another dog and had her ear ripped in half, they called to say she needed to go have stitches which we payed $800 for, and they said that they aren't reliable for those types of injuries and wouldn't cover the charges. Julianna was very kind and reached out to see how she was recovering and handled the situation as well as she could, so I assumed that maybe they were just playing rough and accidents happened, so after she recovered I decided to take her back. The second incident (within minutes of me dropping her off) I was told she was attacked as they were leading her back to the dog room, but they didn't get any video surveillance and "no one saw what happened", even though they were escorting her back there. She had some pretty serious puncture wounds and bite marks all over her body, and we took her to the vet to get more stitches. Finally, this week I received another call that she was attacked again, and needed to be sent home. They didn't get any video surveillance of the incident, again, and no one saw what happened, again. And these are just the injuries they've told me about. I've picked her up with blood, puncture wounds, bite marks, urine, and feces on her, and they never comment on it.I called pretty upset asking how a facility that has cameras everywhere isn't catching these events, and why no one is able to witness what happened since they're supposed to be supervised. She acted very dismissive and said that i should've known that they aren't able to watch the dogs all the time due to the amount of animals they take on in a day and that they're low staffed, and that if I wanted people to watch my animal more closely, I should take her somewhere else. I can't imagine calling someone to let them know their puppy is injured and needs medical attention, and is somehow able to push the blame onto the customer instead of owning up to their mistake. Not only are they taking in too many animals at once and not watching the dogs, they've also increased their daily rates. We've paid around $2k in injuries received from this daycare facility over the past 6 months, and we're fortunate enough that it hasn't scarred our dog from being around other animals, but I felt the need to put this information out here as I've heard similar stories from other people.

Dogtown is the best. My dog gets to spend the day playing with her friends instead of being confined to my house. She comes home happy and can't wait to go back in the morning. Dropping her off at Dogtown is the highlight of her day. I can check in on her when I'm on the road and that makes me sure she is in good hands.
