Could be a nice store which the area needs. Unfortunately it does not carry basic items that many people use and can't express enough to check exp. dates regular out of date products are often found on shelves and when brought to attention they keep it on the shelf with reduced price. Shop at your own risk!At 62 years of age never have seen such a poorly run store anywhere.

Clifton Market has the potential to be an amazing neighborhood store. Unfortunately, it’s not.While convenient, the regular markup on items is insanity. Items are typically $2-$5 more expensive at Clifton Market. It’s worth it to jump in the car and head to big box stores.Additionally, I have been subjected to panhandling 100% of the time I’ve gone in and out of Clifton Market. I acknowledge they’re trying to fix this solution, but it is anxiety-inducing every time I walk into this store.Furthermore, the back parking lot underneath the market can be a problem. Between the parking lot and the Shell station on Clifton, there is a high homeless population and abandoned cars that could also make anyone uncomfortable. Again, not necessarily a Clifton Market issue, but drives down the overall experience.

This "Grocery" is a large wealthy/Creative Class convenience store. I accept that. Paying a $2 markup on the majority of the items in the store is absolutely 'worth it" on occasion. However in no way sustainable for me.In addition 80% or more of the checkout staff are so introverted that they refuse to actually greet me or even in some cases speak to me. I can't deny that it hurts my feelings in spite of the fact that I'm a grown woman. 🤣I'm like...wait...I just spent an extra $20 on less than $100 worth of strangely arranged groceries that I had to spend a half an hour to find because staff are either absent or surly?There was a really nice manager at one point, and a friendly guy came out from behind the deli counter once. When I inevitably need to ask where something because I have spent 15 minutes looking for it I have regret because the stockers floor staff seem really put upon to answer a question, or that they can't actually believe someone has actually spoken to them...I never see a discount sticker on withered produce which frustrates me. Why am I potentially paying "more" for less?I do not love the parking situation but that's an unavoidable aspect of the site. It was that way when my mom took us shopping there in the 70's and 80's when it was Keller's. Having to park in the lower lot the other evening it looked and felt like I was about to be on SVU... I can't imagine how a person with a moderate to severe mobility difference can even shop there.I really enjoy taking the time to give positive feedback to shops and retail/customer care employees. But I can't find as many positive things to say here. The other night I took a risk to grab a few necessary items. The entire brand of dairy product I needed was completely wiped out. I searched for a natural toothpaste that wouldn't trigger my daughter's allergies for at least 10 minutes. No luck. However there were seemingly a dozen foaming hand soaps that fit the bill. Why the inconsistency?However unlike the Corryville/Clifton Kroger which has removed all "half carts" there's ALWAYS a mini cart handy in the 'foyer".

Not a bad place at all , and stocked with all kinds of useful items . Nice little bakery inside , a hot ☕ cup of coffee in the morning , and a lot of specialty items

It is the third time I feel mistreated in this place. First time the cashier was rude. Second, one of the cashiers was charging me more for a salmon that was in discount, when I let him know he got super mad and said to the other worker: "explain to her that she is wrong" in a loud voice, then he argued with me and was very rude. The other person gave me the reason but they didn't apologize. Then, the salmon was expired anyways. This week I came back and was reprimanded because I forgot to put the bag pack in the entrance "lady I have told you many times", he insisted in a rude way, I said to him he could say it in a nice way and his coworkers seemed to agree with me. Anyways, as I say to the guy when he reprimanded me, I am not wishing to go back to this market because I feel vulnerable. I am foreign and I feel that this may not happen to a person that is from here and doesn't have an accent. Some workers are nice but this specific one and the other cashier make me scared of going back.

Great selection of products, some of which are more overpriced than others. HORRENDOUS customer service reminiscent of the 'hood. Even more horrendous Christmas music. Further proof that we Americans have collectively lowered our standards.

just came out , i regularly come here but just now i met the worst cashier of my life , interaction started by me asking him “how are you doing boss” the cashier started laughing at me for saying that , i asked him if he is ok he kept laughing at me , then he started throwing some indian words although i am not from that region which was racist to me since he also is not from there, i felt extremely intimidated by this . name of cashier on receipt is MELVIN he is american-indian tall with a high pitched voice , he also didn’t want to hand me a bag initially i hope the store looks into it

Had someone pick up chives and it’s absolutely rotten. This is the second time this happened. Not quality produce.Wow so tried this place again today 2/26/2022One lime costs $1.99 super expensive unfortunately not even quality produce.

I am SO happy to have this grocery store in walking distance from my apartment. I am happy to report that the prices are average! I was worried I would be spending more than I would at a chain, but the prices are pretty much the same. I would much rather support a small grocer over a conglomerate like Walmart or kroger. I'm excited to make this my regular grocery store!Also the baked goods look AMAZING

I was asked to leave the store and never return. I was told to get out and go back where I came from. No explanation at all. I went outside, and I spoke to a lady that was sitting at a table selling chips and perhaps cold drinks and I told her what happened she went inside and she spoke with the heavyset African-American man and explain to him what I told her he told her that my picture was on the wall, and I was accused of stealing. I would like to speak to the owner of this business. I am highly insulted and angry. If my picture is on the wall, I would like to see it. This was a bad experience Cincinnati is terrible.I would like to speak to the manager or the owner of this place of business

Maybe I went on an off day? I was surprised by the lack of prepared foods and the sushi being from a box. The sandwich meat I bought didn’t taste like much. The staff are friendly, though.

They have really good chicken. It's lean, not fatty, and priced just right. It's fresh. This is the best chicken ever. It's wrapped in clear plastic. I pay between 7-9 dollars for the whole fresh chicken. I like the coffee and pastries counter as well.

produce is SAD here. Mushrooms are covered in mold, rotting, expensive. Many vegetables are wilted. This has been an often occurance and wildy overpriced. Have had many labels not match the price at checkout, sick of wasting my money

It's a cool spot, but when I went in the other day, the whole bakery area smelled like dog. Not fresh bread. Dog. So I feel like minus one is way more than fair. I didn't even see any dogs. Ew.

A great local market. They offer an excellent selection of products, including a variety of ice cream products and sodas products that aren't available elsewhere in the city. Fresh low price chicken and sandwiches. And a lot more. Some of the prices are a bit expensive but only on a few select products which are worth it.

Greatly surprised by this place prices are comparable to most large scale grocers but it has a European feel and lots options.Personally i waited for this when i was on ludlow but sadly it was delayed and completed after i left the area. But i frequently am around the area and stop in to nap my needs.

I love Clifton market. The convenience of walking to the grocery store has been amazing, and they have always been nothing but accommodating. Great selection. I’ll be so sad to move away one day!

For a local, non-chain grocery store, Clifton Market offers just about everything you need. But where they excel is in fresh baked goods, produce, cheese, and deli. So if you want to pick up a baguette and some Camembert, you can do that here. There is no way that they can offer all of the choices in every area... such as all of the waters and sodas that are on the market now. But I would shop here for pleasure, and then hold my nose and run in Kroger or Walmart to get that one kind of frozen entree, etc. that you have to have. No loud announcements over the PA telling you what's on the back dock. The store is clean, and the registers are staffed. Grocery shopping doesn't have to be unpleasant.

Trying too hard to be something more than a local small grocery store and it doesn't work well. I wouldn't buy anything from any meat/fish department. Needs to be more simple and less trendy to the whims of the times. Having great seasonal local produce from our small farms would be amazing to add. I mean really getting good stuff and not being sorta into it. Rest of the year stick to basics. Love the Amish Country brand popcorn.

Clifton Market is a great neighborhood market. The meat selection is local and very well priced. I love the marinades they use on their meats.
