Bobby has been amazing with my Bear. Bear is a very sweet but very high strung pittie. After one session at Blue Dog k9 care- Bear was significantly calmer and more content than ever before.I have never trusted anybody with Bear without me nearby. Bobby was very reassuring and made me comfortablethat she would be ok.Bobby is friendly and makes scheduling easy. He helps her and, more importantly, me with leash training as well as smart recommendations regarding leash options, feeding habits, car restraints etc.Bobby cares about his dogs and I feel reassured knowing Bear is in his care!

Affordable and local canine show dog trainer... Our 2-year-old, 75 lb, mixed breed, rescue had boundary and anxiety issues...After 4 days with Blue Dog K9, Daycare/Training, there's already a definite change in his disposition and he's much easier to handle. Max is more attentive to our authority and commands.I think the play time interactions with the other large breed dogs was very beneficial to Max's confidence and socialization.We will be taking Max back for probably 2 day care stays/training a week as follow up and reinforcement.

Bobby is amazing with our dogs. We have two rescue pups who love going to day care 5 days a week. They have been with Bobby for almost a year and their behavior has improved as a result. Bobby is great at understanding what dogs need and taking care of them. Both our dogs have had a history of abuse and neither have reacted poorly to anything he has done. It's clear that he genuinely cares about what is best for your dog.There are a few reviewers saying that he is rude/unprofessional. I've never experienced this. Bobby is much more focused on the dogs than the pet parents, and that's exactly what I would want. He is reliable, flexible, and very accommodating. He is casual, and always texts to communicate. He is fast to respond and will schedule your drop-off and pick-up times with you to make sure it works for his schedule and yours.

I don't trust a lot of people to take care of my pups, but Bobby is one of the ones I completely trust taking my dogs to when I go out of town. He treats my dogs like his own and takes very good care of them. He really knows what he is doing and has helped out on the obedience side of things of well. I highly recommend Blue Dog K9 Care.

My dog loves going to daycare at Blue Dog. I have been taking him here for several months after he developed separation anxiety, and I can tell that he is comfortable and always has fun here. Bobby runs a great facility and it is obvious he cares for all of his dogs. Highly recommend!

Our experience with Blue Dog has been amazing. Bobby saved the day in assisting us with a sitter on such short notice. The information he gave us was clear and concise which, in turn, made the process that much easier for us. To add, since it was our first time ever leaving our Charlie in the care of someone else, we weren’t sure how we would feel. Once we stepped into Blue Dog K9 Care we felt relieved and could tell he was in great hands. Definitely looking forward to doing business with them in the future!

I will recommend Blue Dog to anyone in need of care for their dog. My dog has separation anxiety and I was really hesitant to leave him for an extended period of time. Blue Dog was incredibly accommodating of my special requests and gave him his supplements with no added charge. Additionally, my travel plans changed several times and the owner was very flexible with that as well. My dog came home happy and tired from all the playing he did while he was staying at Blue Dog. It was a great experience for both my dog and I, the treatment was much more personal than what I would’ve received at another dog care facility. Thank you Bobby! Beau and I appreciate everything you did for us.

Bobby is amazing! We went in for a meet and greet yesterday, and he trimmed my dog's nails. This is a huge victory. Many groomers and her vet have failed to complete this task. She hates having her nails trimmed. Bobby is truly a dog whisperer! He was great with our dog, and we look forward to her upcoming boarding stay with Blue Dog.

Great boarding facility! Was coming into Cincinnati for a wedding and bringing our German Shepherd..called the facility a week ahead to book and the owner was super friendly. He asked multiple questions about our dog and got our vet information. Owners very knowledgeable and familiar with all breeds. Upon arrival, the facility was very clean and a great layout. There was very large kennels for each dog, large play areas, and nice outside turfed area. Absolutely recommended!

My dog sitter fell out at the last minute for my brother's wedding. Looked around and found Blue Dog. Bobby answered the phone very early in the morning on a Saturday and verified my pup's shots were up to date. Awesome facility, registration very quick, and Bobby made sure my 5 lb Chihuahua was safe and had fun while with the other, bigger dogs. Her nails look fantastic and I couldnt be happier with the service I receieved from Bobby. Will definitely be back and will be sending friends your way!

I cannot recommend Bobby at Blue Dog enough!!! He has been an absolute LIFE SAVER the last few days.I (unexpectedly) adopted a problem dog -- in the middle of a pandemic... while still working second shift -- and didn't have the resources to take the best care of her right away. I had a bunch of things on order that were about a week out, so I needed to board her until then.I called Bobby in a panic asking if he could help, and he even offered to take her that night! After I told him a little about her, he sent me an extremely fair estimate right away for doggy day care/boarding/training. He even included a separate estimate to take her to the vet since I was having trouble finding one that was open.He gave me a tour of the facility when I dropped her off and I could tell she was going to be in good hands. Everything is very clean, organized, and all the dogs there looked happy and healthy.Bobby sends me daily text and photo updates to let me know how my girl is doing and the progress she is making. I can actually see how well taken care of and happy she is! Today he took her for her checkup/shots/spay all while she is being boarded so she can recover in comfort.Bobby is *amazing* and has made sure I can give my girl the best possible start in her new home with me. He truly cares about the animals and it shows in the way he runs his business!***UPDATE***I've been continuing services with Bobby at Blue Dog for my rescue Moxxi because she has several behavioral issues that prevent me from leaving her unsupervised.She has SEVERE separation anxiety and will not remain calm while in a crate, even to the point of harming herself. She has destroyed several crates and entryways, including doors, trim, and floors. Even with a heavy duty crate, she will bark and howl constantly.When she is outside of the crate/not alone she is a sweet little angel but unfortunately (like must people) I do have to leave and go to work, and can't risk her hurting herself, damaging property, or causing complaints from neighbors in my apartment building.Not only did Bobby observe Moxxi while in his care, he also took the time to have me come in to analyze how she acts differently with me vs. him, since she did not display the same anxieties and destructive tendencies while she was being boarded.He took the time to explain how I was unknowingly encouraging negative behaviours and taught me proper techniques so that I can continue her training at home.I am *SO* happy today because last night, she slept in the crate all on her own - even with other options including her giant dog bed next to the crate, and up in bed with me.I am extremely confident that continuing to work with Bobby will allow Moxxi to grow into the dog she is meant to be and also help me to be a better owner for her.

Had a bad experience at another dog care center and almost gave up on day care, but wanted our dog to be sociable. We found Blue Dog K9 and are extremely happy with them. Our rambunctious 6 month old puppy comes homes happy and tired. Much improved behavior thanks to Bobby's training.

We sent our blue pit , Rocky here ! And I'm receiving nothing but outstanding service! Hes sending me pics to keep me updated with my pup , gave him a complimentary wash and nail trim. Anytime I write him asking about my dog hes responds immediately with pics to follow . I'm more then happy. And even happier to know my pup is in a great place while I'm away. I would definalty recommend this place to anyone with a dog that needs to go on vacation , or simply for his daycare services that he offers.

Saved the day. Great service. Super Convenient.I was out of the country and my dog sitter basically bailed on me. Bobby the owner agreed to take my large Rottweiler on zero notice and board him for a week. I typically take him there for daycare, which he loves.Love the space that my dog has and the attention to care he provides for my big dog. The facility is super clean and well taken care of. Most people are intimidated by my Rott but I trust Bobby at BlueDog 100% with him and Otis always comes home happy :) Highly recommend BlueDog!

My bride and I have a 3 year old black lab named Zoe. We normally use a kennel located on the same street as our residence. Although Zoe always seemed well cared for, we didn't think she was getting enough exercise and play with other dogs, as the "common area" was rather small. When I happened upon Blue Dog K9 Care's website, I was immediately impressed. I phoned Bobby to set up accommodations for Zoe while we were away during a recent spring break holiday. On the afternoon that we dropped Zoe off at Blue Dog, I was not disappointed. Lots of indoor and outdoor space for Zoe to run and play with other dogs. Bobby seems totally chill, and I feel confident he gives each pet a satisfactory amount of attention. His facility appears to be an old warehouse, or perhaps a former auto mechanic shop. The important thing is that it was clean, secure, and had a ton of space for all the pups. I feel certain that Zoe will visit again.

The quality attention your pup will get for whatever time or service you choose here is seldom found these days. Bobby's truly has a love for what he is doing. His love is apparent the moment you walk in and your four legged pet is comfortable with him and at home. Your dog will benefit greatly. The place is lay layout with a separate area if needed to give your little buddy time to easy into things. A great outdoor play area. There is tons of room and Bobby is sure to keep all busy. From having them help as he does clean up to taking them out on a bike run, or a walk. The balance your dog will get from being here is just priceless. Then the love and extra time he gives is not found at any price anywhere.I can share that not only have I entrusted my service dog to stay with Bobby. He has gone above and beyond to help her to the right vet, to help her heal, and get more balanced when she ended up having to have her eye removed and I could not be there. This place is the place to go where you will take your dog to be with proper balancing of a pack. Where your dog will learn if neaded a bit of manners and proper interaction in accordance to there level; without judgement. Im grateful and blessed for the service I received at Blue Dog K9 Care. I fly from South Carolina if needed for extended periods thats how much I recommend and believe in them.

Meeting Bobby was one of the BEST things that has happened to us since moving to Cincinnati. I kid you not when I say that he is a "Dog Whisperer" ... completely astonishing! We have two small (and very spoiled) Yorkies, who really do not tolerate people outside our family very well. I cannot tell you how amazing it was to watch Bobby calm these little pups and spend and inordinate amount of time getting their nails into shape ... something that we have never been able to do ourselves. I *highly* recommend Bobby and Blue Dog K-9 Care!

I was visiting from out of town and needed a place for my dogs to stay. I called Blue Dog K9 and they quickly replied back to me and was able to accommodate my request. They reached out to my veterinarian and got all the required documentation which saved me time. They were also willing to work with me on drop off/pick up times. I appreciate their flexibility. Blue Dog K9 is GREAT!

Bobby has been watching my 11 year old pitbull Ninja now for over 3 months. Unfortunate circumstances caused me to have to put her up full time with him. It's been really tough for me. I know first hand how hard it is to trust anyone to take care of your dog for you. Let me tell you, Bobby has gone above and beyond. He treats all dogs that he cares for as if they are his own. He walks them regualarly, posts photos of them through out the day and even lives on site incase anything happens! I can't wait till I can bring her back home but in the mean time, I can't imagine a better place Ninja could be. Thanks Bobby.

I actually called because I wanted to board all 3 of my dogs. Well to start off when I called the person(Man) answered I introduced myself and wanted to get more information on the process, well before I could get anything else out he rudely stated the meet and greet and for to send photos etc. I asked about the hours which was pertaining to the hours of drop off and pick up for my dogs. The man rudely stated that’s a vague question we’re open 24 hours a day. Well that may be the case but you don’t speak to no one in that manner, and I wouldn’t take my pet fish to this place let alone my dogs. Words of advice if this is your passion you need to have a little bit more respect for the people and crowds that is trying to give you business.

My dogs were happy when I got back to them after a 5 day stay. I never saw the grounds but I could tell they enjoyed themselves and were tired and satisfied. I felt they were protected and well cared for. Big plus, I was prepared to take them for a bath when I picked them up but they didn't smell unlike another puppy camp I've used.

This place looked promising until I stepped inside. The owner didn’t introduce himself but was quick to tell me I have the wrong collar, wrong leash, wrong food and pretty much doing all things wrong. I’ve been training my new rescue with very positive training. He has clearly been abused so this mans disciplinary attitude was very scary to my dog. He walked around with a baton and slammed it on the dogs cages when they barked at us. This might work for people that use those techniques with their dogs but not with a new rescue with a past. I will not be sending my dog to this business.

The most unprofessional business owner I have ever encountered. There were multiple situations where I should have stopped taking my business here but due to the location, I continued to go. HUGE MISTAKE.When I first met with Bobby at Blue Dog K9 Care he mentioned that he is out between 12-3 every day to walk other dogs from their homes, which is fine, however, to him that means he can run errands whenever he needs to throughout the day leaving your dog unsupervised in kennels with other dogs. He also requires you to text him 30 minutes before you arrive and when I do pick up my dog, my car reeks of weed because of how bad my dog smells.SITUATION #1:My first week of taking my dog here, I had to pick him up a little later than normal, but Bobby had class and said I wouldn't be able to pick him up until 8. When I arrived at 8:00 I sent multiple text messages letting him know that I was there, called multiple of times with no answer. After waiting an hour to hear from him I knock on his door to find out he didn't even go to class and had been sleeping the entire time, while my dog had been locked outside unsupervised with other dogs for multiple hours.SITUATION #2:I went to pick my dog up at the usual time I get off work and once I arrived he texts me that he won't be there for another 45 minutes because he's at the grocery store. Why he's going to the grocery store while I am paying to have him look after my dog is beyond me.SITUATION #3:One day I came home to find dog bites all over my dog's leg and when I mentioned something to him, he said he didn't even know it happened or notice that my dog was BLEEDING!SITUATION #4: THE LAST STRAW.He sends me multiple text messages asking me when I will be in and to hurry because he has to pick up his girlfriend from their airport. When I don't respond immediately he gets an attitude telling me to respond quickly because he needs to leave. So I finally ask him how often is he actually there to watch my dog because it seems he's always gone meaning I am paying him to put my dog in a kennel unsupervised when I can do that at home for free.When I arrive he legitimately starts SCREAMING AT ME, and when I ask him politely to calm down and have a civil conversation about this, he continues to SCREAM telling me how terrible my dog is and how he's the best dog daycare around and how great his business is. Wouldn't even let me get a single word in. THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL WAY TO HANDLE ANY SITUATION WITH A PAYING CUSTOMER. All because I wanted to know what all I was paying for.If I could rate less than 1 star I would do so, and I STRONGLY recommend you do not take your business here.

Absolutely loved the service! Drove in from out of town and needed to find somewhere for my pup to stay last minute. They worked so well coordinating my drop of time, considering I just called 2 hours earlier. They were always communicating with me, letting me know my pup was okay. Will be using their services again!
