Locally run, owners are so friendly and know their regulars and their pets! Every time we go by, our dog is like a kid in a candy store. Hands down her favorite place. Everything they carry is good quality and they have a section to fill your own treat bags. You won’t regret stopping by, and your pup sure won’t mind either. 😊

Argos is an amazing pet shop with a lot of unique treats for your pet. The dog food selection they have created is great and well balanced. You can tell the owners really care for your animals’ health and wellness - going well beyond a sale. For example, they do a weekly dog walk on Wednesday evenings, starting from the Woodburn shop. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in the Cincinnati area.

I really appreciate the friendly but extremely knowledgeable service I have every time I go to Argos! I’m a novice cat mom with lots of questions. They’ve always taken the time to answer all of my questions while also providing me with quality products I need. Whether it’s Nutritional food, literally THE BEST dust free litter, treats, or my favorite purchase today- a cat leash! They’ve got it all and I feel great supporting such a lovely business.

Had a great experience here. The owner always takes the time to talk to her customers and genuinely cares about how your pets are doing. She recommended a new type of food for our cat that has been amazing for her.The food you get here is much higher quality than you'll find at a grocery store or something like that. It gives us peace of mind that we're giving our cat something real and not processed garbage.

Always a great experience. The staff and owners are always friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable about the ingredients and quality of their products. They care about my pets as much as I do, making suggestions for alternative products that may better fit my budget even if it's not something they carry. If all this is not enough they also participate in a program to foster cats placed on kill lists, and a visit to the store will almost certainly have you taking home more than the pet products you were looking for. I started coming here after moving to Cincinnati because it was the only place that sold what I needed. I keep coming here because of everything else.

I love this shop! Simon has been very courteous and knowledgeable. Argo's has always been my priority for anything pets!It used to be a weekly thing to visit the shop on a walk down the street to briefly see the cats and dogs they had available for adoption. My first impression of Elisabeth (the owner) was high above any expectations (very nice, knowledgeable, and caring person).Recently, a cat welcomed me at the door as I stopped in. I walked up to the desk to greet Elisabeth who appeared to have not heard me as she was typing on her phone. I was walking around the shop and suddenly things turned super weird. Elisabeth's phone call turned out to be pretty personal and things turned pretty akward. I have walked into Argos before and had to leave immediately because there was a heated argument occurring inside with the staff (I just thought it would be a one time thing).Visiting the shop is either hit or miss. One visit you may feel welcome the next visit you may feel like you've just walked into a burning building and you need to run.

Happened in where the owner not only provided a skilled approach to the needs of a young pit bull, but made us feel so welcome and invited. Bragged about a kitten adoption and the pride of the neighborhood! Our kinda place. Will go out of our way to take our rescue pups and kittys here, no doubts!

I stopped by on a whim and had such a lovely experience talking to the owner. I thought I had been feeding my dog high end treats- human grade chicken jerky, ect, but I brought home venison jerky and apple peanut butter treats from Argos and she is like a fiend for them. I will return.

This place is awesome! I really wish there was a location in my hometown (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, lol) Albuquerque,NM! I've been in several times and have spoken with Simon & Elizabeth extensively on a variety of topics every time. Their sincerity, knowledge and recommendations being my extra treat to keep coming back. They have an awesome selection of treats, all of which I've tried so far my girl Bliss (whom can also be really picky) loves! They also have a good selection of high quality wet foods, toppers, joint health formulas and (what I think is the coolest part) a selection of their own, really high quality dry food. There's this fantastically, hugely, giant dry food dispenser in the store where you can buy your pups food by the pound. It's so cool & I love the idea. So far, Bliss is loving their grain-free salmon and diggin' their new duck and venison blend. Another really awesome thing they do... they deliver! Literally, they have an awesome truck that'll bring your pet's food if you live within a certain radius. Argos is now currently tied at number one (with one other) for my favorite pet food stores in the five states I've lived in. Thanks Elizabeth & rock on Simon!

They really care and will go above and beyond for anything you need. My puppy is a picky eater and they set up an impromptu "tasting" to see what she would eat. It was brilliant and very helpful.

I pass this store on my way home from work everyday and decided to finally check it out. The owner of the store greeted me and was very helpful and kind. She made me feel like she truly cared about my pet and I, and not just another customer. I would highly recommend visiting this knowledgable store for your pets needs. :)
