I was in town and had to bring my Aussies back a ton of pressies for being gone for four days. They expect nothing but the best pressies when I come back from a trip. I got them so many things at this shop. Waffle treats, giant dental chews, dried pig heart.. this store has a ton of selection! $50 later and a trip back home my dogs are eating luxury. Pictured are Dovah and Alduin eating a rabbit meat stick (not made out of peen) and peanut butter coated cow ears (again not made out of peen). If you do want your dog to have peen though, large selection of bully sticks. The lady helping was very friendly too. My dogs rate it 5 stars since they are the ones eating dried hearts and not me.

I got fish and venison treats. Along with some chew sticks. Lots of variety of snacks and the space felt very welcoming.

Our dog usually eats very little, if any, food when we leave him at the kennel when we go out of town. This last time, though, we left him with Argos dry dog food (we had unexpectedly run out of our usual dog food). When we got back in town, he had actually eaten the food! We like that the food is custom-made for Argos at a company in Atlanta and shipped right up to the store, so it is very fresh. Our dog also has food allergies, so we appreciate that the food is grain free. And our dog likes it! He has been eating heartily since we have been home. In fact, we need to buy more, which I'm planning to do in the next couple of days.

Our cats were having allergy problems with their food. Elizabeth was very helpful with great suggestions. Our cats are eating the food from Agros and are so much healthier. The only time they leave little surprises for us is when they have fur balls. I won't go anywhere else for their food now.

I highly recommend this pet store plus the owner, Elizabeth, and staff Simon! They love animals and go out of their way to bring healthy, non-toxic food and treats to our animal companions. Both of them are really nice people, too. Even though I live on the other side of town, I make it a point to go to Argos when I'm on the east side. Check them out; you won't be sorry!

When I first adopted my 8 year old Shi Tzu Gizmo from Luvfurmutts Animal Rescue, I was told by his foster family that they were feeding him food from Argos. I thought yeah right, I'm getting this dog what I've always gotten my dogs, grocery store brands! A little over a week later Gizmo's skin was in terrible shape. I took him to the vet and went to Argos! Elizabeth was SO knowledgeable and helpful; she was able to look up what he was being fed in the computer system and got him the food he needed. I have noticed such a HUGE improvement in his skin health and his health overall as a result! I will be a lifetime customer after the wonderful experiences I have had with their store, owner and employees, and products!
