Since getting into the hobby, I’ve been scouring the Cincinnati area for my “home” store. Finally made it out to this one and I’m so glad I did! The staff were so friendly and genuinely love their jobs. When I stated I had a male betta at home and was buying a female, the associate’s face went white and she said “you’re not planning to keep them together, right?” I got a good laugh, because I indeed had two different tanks, BUT I seriously appreciated the fact that she was concerned for the well being of the fish she was selling and was prepared to educate me. (Wish I had gotten her name for a direct shoutout!) I feel like so many stores that sell fish just don’t put the effort into questioning customers before selling a live animal. We drove over 40 minutes to come here and we’ll definitely be back regularly! It was welcoming, they answered any questions we had, and didn’t rush us out like the long-running LFS near our home. Just a wonderful place. Sky helped me with my sick beta fish. She had me bring in a water sample so she could test with a more accurate kit. Asked for pics and videos to rule things out and recommended medication. Just overall so amazing and helpful. It’s hard to find places that feel as if they actually care. And they do :)

Definitely one of my favorite aquarium shops in the tristate, they always take time to answer your questions as well. Great selection of livestock and good prices!

I just left this establishment getting my fish tank water tested and instead of me feeling like a custom in there I felt like I was being watched like a criminal instead of being helped

This is the best place for everything aquatics & exotics. The name says it all. The people have so much knowledge and they are friendly and helpful. If only everywhere else was this excellent.

This place is awesome and the staff is great and very knowledgeable. They helped me on my decision to add (4) Dalmatian Molly’s to my small 20 gallon setup.I’m will be working on a larger setup soon and will be heading back to Aquatics and Exotics. Thanks!!

Love there service. Will defenelly be visiting again. It's really important to have someone able to help you with everything you need, i bought some fish here, by the same day nigth I allready had 8 little fishes. I have to find out what I'm gonna do with them.thank you for always having a positive Attitude.

Way more than meets the eye here! I couldn’t believe how big the store is. Fun to explore and definitely a spot to keep in mind if you’re in the market for aquatic life.I first visited here during the “Christmas in Mt Healthy” event and I 100% did not believe there would be a shark tank in this store, but sure enough there IS! Wow! How neat. I felt like a kid on a field trip.Grab a coffee down the road at Square Mile Coffee and then pop in here for a look around. Great little spot to show off the best stuff Mt Healthy has to offer

They always have good, hearty, healthy fish. They give great advice. Even the patrons give relevant suggestions 💙

The lights were out,but despite that ordered 10 fish,the service and advice better than some,nice diverse selection of fish,cool shark in back tank,I think if not for the lights maybe a whole star extra,but hard to pick fish if you can't see them....

Edit 2, final: went today, was ignored the entire visit. Waited at the register, was ignored. Left. Every single salt tank had insane amounts of algae, a lot of them had Dinos in them. I highly doubt I’ll come back. Quality has absolutely tanked in the past year or two.—original—Love this place, regularly get supplies and some fish here. Staff are awesome, though stock has been pretty low lately.Edit: several years later and new employees, the vibes just not the same. Higher prices, lower quality, less friendly faces.

Great place with a nice staff and have a lot of different fish for sale. Also, don't forget to check the floor tank out in the back on the right side for the sharks.

This store is super awesome! They staff members really know their stuff! And the selection is always amazing! Of course my favorite part of any visit is Big Guy! He's a beautiful sweet parrot who sit right in the front of the store! The indoor shark tank is always a fun site as well!!

This is such a wonderful local aquarium store! Their tanks are well taken care of and the fish appear healthy. The store staff members were very helpful in answering questions and helping us find what we were looking for. I also loved being greeted by "big boy" the parrot when we entered and checking out the river turtle and sharks near the back of the store. I will definitely be coming back here in the future!

Staff isn't very helpful. I would say it's one of the worst fish stores I have been to in a long time. Very poor selection. I mean they do have a few unique fish but honestly you can find a better fish selection at pet smart. The prices are also some of the worst I have seen. I am all for supporting small business. But this won't be one of them. There are plenty of other small fish stores that I would support that won't price gouge you on everything. With all the good reviews on here I had high hopes, but that was quickly dashed after a few minutes inside.

Such a cool place they have different fish then most places and its very well kept.....also how can you not mention the parrot 4 actual sharks and crush the turtle plus i have never got a sick fish from here i like this place alot.

Love this place! Employees were helpful, humorous, knowledgeable, personable, friendly and that in itself is huge...the tanks were clean, no dead fish seen, and well maintained. Had interesting and unique finds that I have not found elsewhere. Totally on the top of my list for aquarium/fish needs...and the prices were very good too! 🐠🐟🐡🦈🐢

Spent a good week looking at different aquarium stores looking for a certain species of freshwater shrimp, as I didn’t really want to order them online, this place happened to be my last attempt, and to my surprise they had some !! Also had some duckweed that I was thinking I would have to order online for sure. Complete win win for me, and I was able to finish my nano tank!The staff was very helpful and they worked together quite well! Really loved the experience!And I can’t leave out Big Guy ! He is such a handsome bird!

The customer service is almost top of the line could be better. They are extremely knowledgeable about Saltwater tank keeping and have plenty of reading material for a person to read.The store was a little bit disorganized but everything could be found around the like items. Prices were low and high on most things. The fish for the most part are healthy.Overall I was impressed with the stores and might get a saltwater tank from them.

Sold me a "DOVI" once I got it home and situated its clearly a hybrid... most likely a jaguar/Dovi hybrid... Just tell the truth dont lie especially if you claim to be FISH EXPERTS...
