Absolutely love this amazing business!!!!!! It's minutes from home, everyone is so friendly and immediately welcomes you and ask if you need help, and I always need help lol but the best part is they are extremely knowledgeable about their products they offer which is one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back. It's also so convenient to be able to buy yearly dog license here as well. They have a large array of natural dog chews , well made toys, high quality foods, bedding, and they offer grooming services and boarding and I'm sure I'm missing so much more. I know my babies love going in and love everything I buy for them here.

This is a great place to get your dog groomed. Very good service, my dog seems to have no problems when he goes for his grooming. It does smell like a kennel, but shouldn't it? They do cater to animals after all. If you are looking for a place to get your dog groomed, this place is a very good choice.

For almost everything this store has to offer I give it 5 stars. Have been a loyal customer for years.This review is about the grooming service. I find the quality to be very inconsistent. I have a 40 lb Beago that required a bath, blow out to remove under coat and nails trimmed. Last time I had him here I was very very pleased with the outcome. Shedding was to a minimum. He smelled great (like baby powder) and he was completely dry.When I picked up my dog today I was disappointed with how much he was still shedding. He smelled like dirty wet dog and his hair was still quite damp.I understand they are very busy due to the holidays. I believe if you can’t do your best job due to being too busy then don’t commit to bathing my dog.Will have a hard time recommending the grooming services again. Sorry

Wonderful family owned store! Would never board my dogs anywhere else. They do their utmost to accommodate customers and if you want something specific they can order it! The lovely staff really knows a lot about pet nutrition and is great with special diets. This place is a one stop shop with training, boarding, doggie daycare, grooming and all the food/toys you could want. Also, they are open every day of the week!

One of the best pet supply stores in Ohio. They have everything, all the food, healthy treats, toys. And they have boarding and day care for your pet. The people are always helpful and knowledgeable. It’s why I choose to go there instead of a big chain store.

Never answer their phones or return voicemails. Used them once and they did a good job, but this was my experience to get one appointment scheduled: I called in multiple times, no answer, left a vm, they called me back a few days later at a time I was unavailable, told me to call back at a specific time, I call back at that time, no answer, they call me the next day and I answer. Just irritating, and their service, although decent, is not superior enough to other local dog groomer's, to merit such a hassle over the phone.

It has a very large selection of dog and cat food and toys but I was in there looking for parrot food which they don't carry much of but it's perfect if you own a four-legged critter

Really upset that we chose to board here. We had a great walk through, explained that our female husky has an aversion to men, asked if that would be a problem and was told it would not be. We also explicitly asked whether the facility was positive reinforcement based, and if the dogs were uncomfortable would they be forced in/out of the kennels and told under no circumstances would they be forced to do anything against their will. Drop off went fine, but they basically whisk the dogs away immediately which has not been our experience at other facilities. Typically the employees introduce themselves to the dog first and give them a moment to acclimate. My husband said that he explicitly told them again about our female dogs aversion at drop off while I was doing the paperwork.I called after the first night and was told everyone was doing great, they had no concerns, details to provide or questions.Then at pickup I am informed that our female dog bit an older man who was in the kennel trying to leash her. She has no bite history (and has been boarded many times without issue elsewhere) and I am extremely sorry that this happened, and hope he heals well, but this was an avoidable occurrence for a multitude of reasons.The first of which is that her aversion was never noted, but the second is that they were trying to leash a dog who was unwilling to go with them. She’s quite vocal as a husky, and I’m certain there was a warning at some point during her stay that they neglected to consider. The man should have never been in the kennel and should not have continued to try to leash her/take her out when she resisted. They also failed to call and inform us of the incident or that things weren’t going well which is unacceptable.This is the opposite of everything we discussed during the walk through. Again I am extremely sorry for the man, but if they could not accommodate her they should have been honest and forthcoming from the start. Now our already stressed dog is going to be more traumatized because of their failure to notate her needs, and recognize her behavior. They apologized for a “breakdown in communication” but I feel like I entrusted them with my dogs and they failed us, and also failed their employee who was harmed.Also, a boarding facility should consider having slip leads so they are not bending down into stressed dogs faces to leash them. This is safer for the dogs in a stressed environment and employees. Again, something done at other places we have boarded.

We are new to the area and ATFPC was recommended to us. Exactly 4 weeks ago 3-23-17, we took our 2 dogs (an 8 yr old Bishon and a 14 yr old Havenese) in at 9am and was told they would prob be finished by 2. By 3 my husband called to check and was told they weren't finished probably would be about 5pm. He checked again around 5 and was told they "were short a groomer and had been slammed". He went to get them anyway and our Bishon was on the table but our Havenese was in the cage. It became apparent a few days later, that our Havenese had been left in the cage for who knows how many hours, with shampoo, also wet, because as the picture will show, after 4 weeks I am giving her oatmeal baths for the scaling, itching and losing hair, behind her ears, her neck, her chest and her neck. I got a return from call from a groomer and his only response besides I'm sorry was, "really no harm was done to your dog. ".Really????All they had to do was call and say, hey we are busy can we reschedule? OR. don't take in more animals than you can give proper care.

Loved it here! Recently (April 2021) boarded our dog and had grooming/nail trim done. Our large dog got a bath, brush out and nail trim. She looked and smelled so much better!! They were very accommodating when I had to change my pick up/drop off dates. The staff is super friendly as well!! Definitely using them in the future.

Love this local pet supply shop! They also offer training, grooming, and boarding! They carry almost anything the chain stores would, plus locally sourced and made things like treats and antlers. Nothing is overpriced, many things are incredibly affordable. The owners and staff are highly knowledgeable and friendly.

Best pet store for dogs, cats and birds that I've ever been to. They have an incredible selection of food, treats, and supplies. Customer service is top-notch, casual and makes you feel like one of the family. Their puppy training classes and grooming services are excellent! This is the only pet store in town as far as my family is concerned!

We absolutely love this store. Everyone is so friendly, they always know our dog's name, and our dog LOVES coming here for doggy day care. He literally runs in the front door and drags us to the back every time. It feels like a second home. Highly recommend.

Love this place! They really care about our pets. We board our Jackson down there, and they take such good care of him, and the boarding fee is a great price. He LOVES going there. We also get him groomed there. The grooming crew does a great job. A great variety of items for your furry loved ones.

As a parent of a new dog, I was pleased with the high level of customer care. Because their selections are so vast, it was a little overwhelming. But, the staff was so knowledgeable and welcoming. They asked me several questions about my dog and helped me select what I needed/wanted to keep him healthy and happy. I never felt like I was being “sold” like some of the large chain stores with half the quality choices I found at Anderson Township Family Pet Center. I live on the West Side of Cincinnati but, it’s worth the drive to experience great customer service and quality products for our new “baby.”

This place is amazing! They are so professional and courteous and you can tell they love what they do! I love that I am greeted by name and my fur baby runs to the door when we go. The selection of pet food and supplies is phenomenal and I'm grateful they have healthy made in America options you can't find elsewhere.

Great local place to get your pet food and toys. We have kept our dogs here more than once on vacations and never once have had a bad experience. Prices for food and toys can be slightly higher than chain stores, but being able to support local businesses means so much more to me than a few extra dollars. I would recommend this store to anyone in the area with pets.

I've been their dog trainer for almost 14 yrs, since they've opened. They strive to be best local pet supply store around. They excell in customer service, product knowledge and selection. I enjoyed my time talking to the owner and the staff. They accommodated me even though it was near the end of a busy day. Way cool people! Shop here for sure and support local!!! I'm hopeful that one day they'll carry the insanely durable ball made in Erie Pennsylvania by One Leg Up Pets. Then I could go there even more and stay in the campground I found nearby. Highly recommended pet store!

Family Pet Care Center took excellent care of our two dogs. When we picked them up, they look so good and smelled so fresh. Have used Family Pet Center many times and feel very confident that our dogs are taken care of when we are gone. Huge selection of pet products as well. Very friendly staff.
