Went in last week to buy a new Trimmer for the yard. The employee Dan helped me pick out exactly what I needed for my yard and didn’t try to oversell or get me into something that wasn’t right for me. I was in and out quick. The trimmer was already put together so I didn’t have to mess with that. He started it up for me as well before purchase. All in all great experience I will be going back for other lawn equipment in the near future.

Amazing customer service! I started to buy my mower at Lowe’s, but went to Ace instead because the staff seems friendly whenever I’ve shopped there for smaller purchases. Ended up buying my Ego mower there, and found out the battery wasn’t able to handle my yard on a single charge. I emailed the local store and asked if I could exchange/upgrade to the newer model with a bigger battery. Tim, the owner, was super helpful and he and Bill the manager let me swap them out with no hassles and were super friendly along the way. If you’ve ever returned anything to Lowe’s or Home Depot, you’ll know a friendly return experience is something you don’t expect. Plan to shop at Ace more often.

This should be 0/5: So two stars- one because I love Ace Hardware and another because the lady at the checkout was incredibly helpful and embodied Ace’s customer service that I’m familiar with. The silver haired manager on the other hand whose name I can’t remember did not. Buying a grille should be an exciting and easy process—he made it demeaning, and swore at me when I asked if any of the grilles were used and said “HELL NO!”When I returned the grille a day later because I decided I wanted to upgrade to the nicer one, he said he couldn’t see me “I’m making paint! Come back in 10 min…” I was told by another older gentleman employee that I had to walk up to him if I wanted to be helped which was fine with me but when I walked up and said hello the manager wouldn’t look at me. The other older gentleman next to him said “he’ll make eye contact with you when he’s done making the paint” lol what a very strange experience and this is supposed to be the manager of Mariemont’s Ace Hardware???I said forget this! Got my refund and will buying my grille at another Ace location. What a strange experience! Lady at the front desk who I forget the name of; Employee of the month for being so kind and understanding! Apologies for the book of a review..

Had a key made in under 10 minutes. I love it whenever I go. I can always find an experienced person to help me. Much better than the big stores where you have to wander around hoping you will find someone with knowledge.

Probably the customer service I’ve ever had! I came in with a broken car key after struggling for days to try and find someone to replace it, and Jeff helped replace and program my key in no time. Even came out in the rain to program the key to my car. Very grateful for the kindness I was shown by all staff and highly recommend this store.

Frequently visit when i want a quick in and out experience. This time was for ant baits, had 5 to choose from one was out on the shelf. I was immediately approached by an employee asking me if i was finding everything okay, i asked they said probably some in the back which there was. Purchased two types and was on my way in less than 10 minutes. Great little hardware store with lots of odds and ends and not as big as the other home stores where one may spend more time searching for a product than actually purchasing or comparing! Will return again when headed that direction is also closest to my home, but don't often go that direction, so it gets special visits when in need. Thanks!

*Read whole review for a great outcome*I ordered a grill that was originally scheduled to be available for pickup on my birthday, April 14. I was then told by email it was delayed, and would be available for pickup the following Sunday. Then, it was abruptly cancelled.After communicating with Ace online customer support I was told the model is no longer in inventory, to use a replacement model number, which happened to be the same product number I ordered. The model I ordered is still listed as available on their website, just with a higher price (I paid $449), now listed at $519.99.Something doesn't seem right. I emailed back and forth with Ace with no success, until the owner of this store, caught wind of the problem and personally called me.He explained the issue, was extremely apologetic, and offered to honor the price I paid online and have the grill assembled for me as well. When I picked up the grill we chatted for a while and he even threw in a grill cover for my inconvenience. This high level of customer service is why I continue to support small businesses like this, and encourage others to do the same.Side note- AceHardware.com is not really affiliated with the brick and mortar stores, these stores just act as a pickup location for items bought online. The website has been having many problems. For the best experience, skip the website and visit in-person.

Small stores often offer less selection, but this store had a surprising variety as well as a pleasant, attentive staff and ease in locating merchandise. Prices were decent, staff was knowledgeable and accessible, and free popcorn! I would definitely shop here again.

I actually like coming to this store. They don't always have *everything*, but they have some of most things.Everyone at this particular store is super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. I called ahead about something the other day, and the guy I talked to recognized my voice and took me right to what I was looking for. In and out in 5 minutes. It takes me 5 minutes to get to the front door of the blue amd orange stores, and another half hour looking for a plumbing thing and finding it over in paint 47 minutes later..If you need something specific and it's 15 minutes to the big box store and a half hour to this place, come here. You'll still save time, and hell, they have free popcorn. C'mon. No-Brainer.

This isn't your typical big box home improvement retailer ... and that's a good thing.Conveniently located prices are a smidge higher than the big guy's, but sometimes paying a few cents extra is worth it depending on the project.Staff is available and knowledgeable - you have a question they know the answer.

Their customer service is hands-down the best of any of the hardware stores I've been to recently. I even had an older more experienced cashier bringing a younger one outside to show him how to put windshield wipers on my car. they have a post office branch in this location, which makes it very convenient. I also end up finding all sorts of weird little odds and ends that I wasn't planning on buying in the first place, but can't help myself. Plus, there's free popcorn.

As a new contractor I am still learning the best tools for my trade, the manager there goes out of his way to find out any answers to my questions and always trys to get anything I need as fast as he can. The remodel there was smooth and did not inconvenience anyone. Great store...

Excellent service. Someone greets me every time I walk in and offers to help or find someone with the knowledge to help me. Store is clean, well organized with a surprisingly large variety. Its a bit pricey but the convenience and service make it a no brainer for less than industrial sized shopping.

I am so grateful that this is a Stihl dealer. The customer service with me, myy crew and my chainsaws has been exceptional. The only long wait I had was for parts, otherwise, they take care of my maintenance needs quickly. Angie and Zach are awesome! I wouldn't go anywhere else, even though there are other dealers closer to me. Unfortunately I purchased a new saw last year from a different dealer ... spent thousands there on saws over the years and ended up dealing with a very rude owner on more than one occasion. Goodbye to them. I will only go to this Ace hardware to meet my business needs.

Great selection of everything. Went here to buy materials for my son's science project. Was shocked to find all the components we were after and the gentleman working there knew exactly where everything was.
