It’s in a very small building with no parking. The inside is cramped and smells. There is unnecessary equipment everywhere that doesn’t pertain to reptiles it’s even in the bathroom. Their stock is better than pets mart for supplies. Their animals looked healthy and feeder insects looked fine and didn’t get my bearded dragons or my gecko sick. The woman with dark hair was kind of rude and monotone. The pictures on my review are monkey tail skinks they had in stock the day I went.

Super helpful and friendly staff! Anything you need for your snakes at a reasonable price. Google Maps directions usually don't work, look at the map as you get closer for the road you need to turn on.

I wanted to wait a few months to make this review to make sure my gecko was perfectly healthy. And I am proud to say that this shop sells very healthy reptiles at a very good price! And the customer service was also great and the owner seemed to know the answers to all of my questions, which was good as of knowing how knowledgable they were. I would definitely recommend coming here!

My son and I came to browse tarantulas as my boyfriend and I were here previously and they have a great selection. We were greeted with hostility due to them packing for a reptile show. We were able to look at the tarantula but was scolded for handling containers when we were trying to see the specimens color and size. Overall felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed. Will need to look for a new location for our reptile and exotic needs

Walked next door to this store while getting my car serviced and loved my experience. Helpful, knowledgeable, and patient staff. Walked out with my new ball python and I’m so happy I stopped in. I live a while away from here but will not hesitate to make the trip north to visit. Highly recommend!

Completely useless staff/owner I try to purchase responsibly and stay away from chain pet stores for all of my animal purchases, it helps keep good breeding practices in place ect.I am from out of the area (Indianapolis) and in search of a few specific snakes and decided to make it a day trip to eastern Indiana/Ohio this was one of our stops. The woman who greeted us as we walked in asked what we were looking for, I expressed that we were there to look for a snake, she then immediately told us that they were all packed up for a show, handed me a business card and said to check them out there tomorrow and dismissed us.I told her I don't live in the area and would not be able to go, expecting that she would follow up and ask if we were looking for something specific but no, she was done with the interaction.I get it, you feel as if I am an inconvenience but you easily could have made a sale or at least cared at all that someone was interested in doing business with you. It's 2023 we can order online and receive better service. There are sincerely dealers that have their direct cell phone numbers on their website so you can call/text to get additional information or assistance. There is zero excuse for this kind of treatment. Do better.

Just got a ball python here after not having a snake for a really long time. The staff was incredibly helpful in answering all of my questions, as I had never had a ball python in the past.Absolutely the best place to go for all of your reptile needs!!!Thank you all so much!!!

Incredible selection of reptiles, amphibians & arachnids...all sizes, colors & genders...also well stocked on feeders like mice, rats & insects and various sizes...fair warning, the place smells like a snake house...but the people are great, knowledgeable & friendly.

My snake was mistreated when he was a baby, so he refuses to eat frozen mice. This is the best place to get live mice and rats in the Greater Cincinnati area. I can't say anything about their reptiles because I haven't adopted one from them, but they have a wide selection of healthy-looking geckos, ball pythons, and bearded dragons. I come here every two weeks to feed my python and the service is always fast and friendly.

Such a neat store. I've never seen baby snakes before , so freaking cute ❤️ very nice man helped my husband and I. They have a large selection of feeder options for your reptiles and tons of cute animals. I would for sure check this place out if your a reptile lover.

This place is awesome!! I bought a baby panther chameleon in August. He has grown so much and looks so good! The staff working was very helpful on all what is needed in my setup, diet, and supplements. You won't be disappointed with them!!!!

Both owners were fantastic during our visits. They were very patient with our very curious 6 year old daughter. They answered all of her questions, as well as my wife and my questions. We left with a new python and all of the accessories to make our tank a great home for him. Thanks A-List.

This place is great! My daughter got her first snake here and they were very very nice and very informative since we are new snake owners. He also told me to call anytime I had any questions about the snake and he would be glad to help. They also had all the supplies u would need for snakes as well.

We love going to a-list animals! We get live mice for our snake there. If you know what you are looking for they can quickly get it or if you have questions they are very helpful as well :)I also bought a little clay snake made by their girl and it sits perfectly by my kitchen sink to hold my rings 🐍

Great service. I brought 2 breaded dragons at a show from a list and a few days later one died. I called and Derek was willing to help me out with a replacement at half price even though they only have a 30 hour guarantee. We decided to just keep one dragon. But the willingness to help customers was refreshing

We came across A-List while trying to find reptile supplies during a quick trip to Cincinnati. We were not disappointed. Even though we didn't buy our bearded dragons from them, Derrick had no problem talking us through our questions, giving us advice, and really making us feel comfortable. I almost had to drag my boyfriend out of the store because he was so excited to finally find someone so helpful. We live a couple of hours away, but I can bet that we will be visiting them at Expos, and when we can manage to make the drive down.

Don't come here. Their smiling faces are fronting because they are rude. Me and my family went here to buy a setup for our new pet turtle and the workers were rude n no helpful like we were bothering them. My friend just got a bearded dragon last month, and my brother had me buy him a ball python here. I don't personally know anything about caring for snakes (my brother's the snake guy), and the man there was really nice and informative about answering all our snake questions, made sure we had everything the snake would need and was trying to keep it as low cost for us as possible. Afterwards, they even let my friend hold and pet one of their leachie geckos. We've been coming here for about a month for Dubias and crickets too, and they're always very helpful with that. Would definitely recommend.

Came in today to get some dubia roaches and asked some questions about my new beardie. The owner was very nice and addressed my questions despite me not buying my lizard from them. I went earlier in the week to buy an enclosure as well and was treated very nicely by another lady. I will definitely be back in the future!

An amazing shop with great owners. The owner talked to my Dad for a long time answering all of his questions. With his great advice and mouse selection, my Dumeril’s boa went off of a 7 week feeding strike and ate last night. I’m unsure why there are some bad reviews, but my experience was great and I’ll be returning!

Do all my animal food need shopping here. I fed my ball frozen and these are the only ones he will eat. They seem a lot more fresh than everyone else. Everything is very fairly priced and they are very friendly.

When I was finally ready to purchase my first reptile, I scoured the internet to find a reputable shop. I was skeptical about some of my local shops, so decided to make the 45min drive to check these guys out. I was not disappointed. The owner spent a ton of time answering my questions and gave me insight into things I hadn't considered. He knew the products and his animals, and was most concerned with finding the right fit for me, instead of trying to upsell. In fact, he did all of this knowing that I would not be making a purchase that day.I returned a few days later, spent an equally long time making my final decision, and left feeling confident that I had the knowledge and resources I needed to care for our new family member. It is now four months since I made my first trip down to A-List Animals, and I haven't found another shop that compares. I make the hour and a half round trip without hesitation to buy feeders, supplies, and get great advice. We have a healthy ball python with a great temperment who is growing like crazy and never misses a feed.Thanks to Derrek and his family for sharing your passion and knowledge!

I had approached their booth at an expo they were attending on December 9th. I asked about a ball python pastel they had, he was pretty but looked a bit thin. I shook it off and asked about his feeding habits and his shed. They seemed to dodge answers while the woman was shuffling money in her hands. I took him to the car ride to his cozy new home with top conditions, and he was severely dehydrated. I showed him to his water and he drank so much I thought he would pop. Several attempts to feed him, nothing. His skin was drawn up and he was weak. My snake is now dead, despite that I attempted to reach out to the owners several times. Phone calls, emails, everything. I don’t believe they care about the animals they create. Supplies, great. But I wouldn’t be able to get info on their animals if my life depended on it. It was like he had never eaten a mouse in his life.

I went there because of all the positive reviews. Sad to say I did not get any of the service they have before me. All the staff there but 1 female seems nice. The rest seem not to care. A tall man that helped me one day was very standoffish. He was very short and I would think maybe he was having a bad day but twice he's been this way with me.Anyways the gecko I had bought from them was very malnourished as thin as a bamboo stick. I felt so bad for it since it was jumping at the glass to get to me. I've never seen a cresty do that before. I got it home and she gecko couldn't stick to the walls and her front feet are very small and one of her back feet were missing a toe. I was gonna call them but I did NOT want the gecko to go back to that place for her care. Well I've had her for months now and shes doing wonderful.
