Update* I contacted them and Krystal the manager is willing to replace her for us and she is taking her in to get a necropsy done on her also! So I hope they are able to track who ever got the other two she was with and let them know if it happens to be contagious. *We bought a bird it died right past a month. We bought a python and she was showing signs of what we thought was something bad and took her back in to be told she was perfectly fine and now right over that one month policy she just passed away!! I’m praying petland will want to know why she died and do a necropsy on her but if not I’m told the agriculture should. To get a pet and have it pass away right over a month is devastating! When you buy it they say if anything is wrong bring it back we will have it checked out by our vet. No emergency place could see her yesterday she had an apt in two hrs! I called them and was told oh we don’t do that but you can speak to the aquarium guy if you’d like, we’ll yeah any info I can get on how I should try to help her until she gets into the vet is great. He could not hear me as soon as I stated the issue and hung up on me! And the lady that was so helpful and adamant we were getting the best snake they’ve had in a long time pretended to not know who we were when we came back 9 days later stating something was wrong!! The guy even told me she didn’t regurgitate her meal, she just took a bite out of it! And her mouth gaping was normal also, and her missing her strike was too! I feel horribly guilty for not listening to my instinct and taking her to the vet immediately then!!They should have to give you a book on things to be aware of and look out for when you leave with any animal and if those things occur and you come back in they should take your animal and have it seen by a vet!! She also had a old spot on her underside that apparently was scale rot that I was unaware of that is caused from laying in too moist environment! I will update this if they decide to see why she died for the sake of their other snakes or do anything towards the effort of making this right!!!

Very helpful staff I did walk out with the puppy so I’m eight days into my puppy purchase and he is not doing good at all. I tried to call Petland to get help but they were no help at all so I guess I learn the hard way and I guess I should’ve listen to the reviews and so here’s my new review. Whatever you do just don’t buy a pet from Petland.

The manager is so sweet. I always went there as a kid because my family was poor, so it was a zoo. Now that I'm grown up, the manager is still working there, still sweet as ever. That's where I get my lovely ferrets. I've gotten 4 from there so far. I just got my fourth one very recent. I've gotten all females (I currently as I post this. I only have 3 one passed due to health issues further in life, she was 2 years old.) I had 2 at the time then back down to 1, so I got that one a friend she was becoming depressed and lonley so when I had the money I waited till they're new shippment. And the most recent one I bought was a pure albino she was way to pretty to pass up. I had to wait to get her for a few hrs, and they put her on hold for me. Furret was 2 (BD:May 31 2020- October 26 2022). Shadow is turning 3, got her March, 5 2021. Spark I got her May 22 2023. Forst was born March 24 of 2023. I didn't get the birthday card for Shadow or Spark, so I'm kinda winging it on that.

I just had the worst experience ever at the pet store. I'm in there for almost 20 minutes and two guys are standing back there. Talking wouldn't even look at me to see if I needed help. I'm back there trying to get fish and they was too worried about talking to each other than helping a customer out. I was getting ready to spend $100 in there on just fish but now I'm just going to go ahead and go somewhere else to get them unfortunately

High prices on puppies but has a credit program that is pretty flexible that comes with everything you need for the 🐕.Staff was friendly and allowed us to spend a good deal of time playing with the puppies.

I bought 2 fish and already had two but when I put them in the take with my other 2 fish it killed them so I don’t recommend buying fish from them I’m going to have them tested for any diseases but yeah I’m a little pissed about it

This is a great Petland location for aquatics! The tanks are always clean and there's a large selection of freshwater and saltwater fish. They have a koi pond built in the store that is always stocked. There is a good selection of aquatic plants as well.Prices are comparable to low on most things.Their pet food selection isn't as large as Petco down the road.

I bought a snake from them they said he just ate I went ahead and bought a live mouse from them, then the next week I came to get food for him they said they don’t sell live food for him after I was told they did. DO NOT ADOPT ANYTHING FROM HERE!!!!

One employee was horrible he doesn't even need to work with the public, let alone animals. Brown boy with a bun took our fishto find fish food laid the fish in the back then continued to carry a dog to the back then was talking with the other employees while our fish was laying somewhere in the back without saying anything to anyone why they were there or letting us know anything. The guy that bagged the fish for us just happened to see the fish and brought then back up to the counter then I again asked fir fish food which this guy got
