My dog has been scooting and licking herself after her grooming appointment. I took her to the vet and they said she has clipper burn on her backside. She’s uncomfortable & not her usual happy self. Besides that she looks horrible everywhere. Her face is a choppy mess. I wasted $140.00. I paid and tipped 20% before seeing my dog. That was my mistake. I will never use Petco for grooming again.

I unfortunately didn't notice the sweet ladies name that helped me today, however, she was extremely helpful and accommodating. I had no idea what I needed for my Beta tank but she took the time to show me different options and care tips as well.

Ladies were just standing around talking. I wanted to buy some fish and ask about some plants for my aquarium but they were too involved with what they were doing to help or notice. Wasn’t greeted when I came in, and I know they saw me walking out yet said nothing. Second time coming here and being disappointed.

I bought a cockatiel from them about 2+ yrs ago.. I had a question regarding it's health and the young lady I talked to was incredibly helpful. She even recommended a veterinarian who specializes in exotic birds. Dr Waite (Fayette Co veterinary hospital) was awesome! .. I really appreciated all her help!

No one approached me while i was there to askl if they could assist me. The selection of pet foods were limited to high end products. I have had dogs n cats that have lived just as long on the lower cost product as the high end product. Will not be shopping much in your store again.

The lady working near the fish was very rude. She hardly said a word, and when we approached the counter with a fish tank we asked when we can put fish in our aquarium. She responded with a snappy "im not selling any fish to anyone untill the aquariums been settiling for a month" and proceeds to explain how to set up our aquarium with very quick instructions. It was just kinda off. I dont want to go to petland as they have very inhumane ways of treating animals and buy from puppy mills. I dont mind dealing with a rude employee, i get that everyone has bad days. No need to treat me rudely in front of my child is all.The best way to deal with a rude employee, is to just be aggressivly nice and act like i dont notice. Im not gonna spend the energy telling her shes being rude. Ive worked retail, so i get it. Even i could maintain a smile, even if it was fake and ask if they need help at least once.

When I was in Pet Co last time, I wanting for some supplies. The trip before I talked to Patsy and had questions, she was so helpful! I understand that everyone is having problems with hiring good people, but it is nice to haveSomeone that knows and is willing to help.

We love Pet Co!! I started going here after Pet Value closed. Took me awhile to understand the Pet Pals Rewards, but definitely worth having if you shop here much! The App is easy to install & custom service for the App is great, if any questions. As you shop & build your points you receive discounts that is definitely worth it especially if you have many dogs like us. They have great options for food, toys, treats, clothing, supliments, vitamins, hygiene, training etc. Custom service in the store is friendly & for most part knowledgeable in steering you in the right direction for what you need. Somethings I disagree on with supliments & Pet care. But for the most part staff is great with their knowledge! Good job Chillicothe Pet Co! The food variety is great in this 1 stop pet shop. Our dogs are on different diets due to certain allergies or needing grain free/gluten free foods such as our 13 year old American Bulldog. The clothes are super cute for our 2 Frenchies & great Raw food selection for our Bull Terriers. The store hours are a bit limited & the staff will approach you at closing as they will not keep registars open past 7pm. It's best to go earlier in the day. I tend to go in the evenings as the Bridge St traffic can be annoying. Would be nice if they had a second location on Western Ave. They do have a Grooming service. They require all pets to be up to date on vaccines & Bordatella with proof of to uses this service & appointments are required. Overall I give this store 5 stars for custom service, variety & the staffs best knowledge. Happy pups, Happy Life!!🐾🐶🐱❤

The lady in the fish area with the piercings in her face needs to stop trying to tell me what fish I should buy and let me buy the fish that I want she went on and on like it was science class I almost walked out she needs to let people by what they want she probably ran several people out of that store not a good worker Every fish that I wanted she was like no you can't have that 1 she wanted me to get the fish that she wanted It aint like I was trying to get a saltwater fish and put it in fresh water this was all fresh water fish that I wanted

It was nice to go inside and loved the experience , but the only negative experience i has was the car salesman type trickery they tried to pull to sign up for dog training classes , I was interested but they was very very pushy to get me to sign without giving time to think about it. And if I didn't then I was going to mis out on a great deal. Next to that they was probbly going to get 5. However I personally prefer ed the pet land down the road .

I scheduled a grooming appointment this last Wednesday for today, Friday 22nd at 5:15pm for my fluffy pup. Now, I understand that today is the last Friday before Christmas, I arrived 15 minutes early, I was very clear that my dog weighs 50lbs and indicated that on the pre-registration, she was listed as a medium and I scheduled. Upon arriving I was told that they wouldn't be seeing my pup today because she was listed as a Medium and I was accused of being dishonest about her weight, yes. I was accused of being dishonest and not quietly, at all It was boisterously loud and in front of other customers by the full bodied blond lady behind the counter, she also preceded to tell me that Abigail was unable to lift more than 30lbs and that because I was scheduled as a medium my dog would be too heavy for her to see today. The thing is, a medium goes up to 50lbs and it was Petco who scheduled Abigail to see my dog, They did not weigh my dog or even touch my fluffy pup to see if she weighs as much as she looks, she is very fluff-tastic... instead they shunned me and accused me of dishonesty. I will not be going back to Petco for any reason whatsoever. They have made it clear they'd rather not work and they do not value my pups or my business.

Sometimes there are good workers there and sometimes there aren't. One time we went, they were ignoring us and the puppies. The puppies were fighting so bad they were almost bringing blood. We told one of the workers and she just ignored us. But other than that incident, everyone seems to help or pay attention to everything.

The Chillicothe store we shop at is always clean & organized. The associates there are friendly, helpful & aren't afraid to share their knowledge. This is the only pet store we use! We also have training sessions with Tito, and he is exactly what we needed. We have a lab puppy and we needed some guidance on general obedience and communication with her. We have gotten all of that and more. He and all employees are very knowledgeable about products, food, and tools for our puppy, and everyone is happy to help and talk with us. It is always clean, and if you ask, any employee is more than happy to help you, and your pet is more than welcome. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for any services for my dog, they create a friendly atmosphere towards everyone.
