The store didn't just move locations, it got much better.Dunham's, in its current location, is far superior to when the store was located in Shawnee Square. I put off going into the store for some time as I assumed that it wouldn't be much different than the old location. I couldn't have been more wrong.The current location is much cleaner, bigger, packed with more goods, and simply is more pleasant to be inside than the old one. It is now a genuine rival for another store and consistently has more options than the other place as well.It is definitely worth stopping in to have a look around and see what deals you can find.

So the new ATF gun form is highly confusing. So when I asked about the ones I was confused about the guy behind the counter didn't know and told me to answer wrongly. Now they won't sell me the firearm in question and I have been purchasing firearms legally with no problem for over 35 years. I will never come back to this store to purchase anything. And I buy over 10000 dollars in firearms a year.

The Dunham's Sports in my town is a awesome store you can go in there and get anything that has to do with the outside all kinds of camping fishing hunting sport shooting guns everything so and the people in there are very very nice every time I go in there I have a good time shopping so yes I would highly recommend the store to anybody I go in there all the time and buy things

Sold me weight equipment that was returned/used at full price and didn't tell me. Got item home and unboxed. Equipment was damaged, hardware was missing as well as part of the frame. Was unable to use. Was told they'd exchange for display. Called corporate and complained and was told they would offer a small discount on the display item. Was told (by store manager) they could find in system to issues refund and still have not been able to get a refund. Spent close to $300 and received used and broken equipment. Would not recommend buying a stick of gum from here. I know it seems harsh but after my experience......

Since they moved to the new location, Dunham's is definitely the sporting goods store to go to in Chillicothe. Great selection and pricing, especially with price matching. The staff was also very helpful and attentive. The firearm selection is by far the best out of the big 3. Will definitely be my go to from now on

Full disclosure: I work for a different sporting goods store.That said, staff has always been pleasant with only one exception. My last visit was to find bowfishing equipment, and see if they had a specific firearm. They had neither, and the one person working by the firearms walked away as I walked to the counter. Prices are mostly fair, cashiers are pleasant and greeted me as I entered.

Purchased a shotgun from Dunham’s that will not eject the shells properly and they refused to let you return it or help you get the company to make it right. On top of that they’re trying to charge $22 a box for 12 gauge shells.

Just stopped in today to check out some golf shoes. The new store is WOW! Selection is huge, why would you go anywhere else for any of your sporting needs? Staff was awesome and made me feel like I was the only customer in the store. Thanks again!

I bought a pair of Brooks running shoes for my friend. They were a size too small so I took them back. I paid over $84 for them initially. They told me if the price for the same shoes was more then I’d have to pay the current price which may be higher. I went and got the right size and they said I only paid $60 dollars for them which wasn’t correct. It even had the original price as $84+ today and on sale for $74 today. They didn’t give me the sale price today! Then I gave them my address and they said I had too many returns in the past and they couldn’t exchange them. I explain to them that I had just moved however I have never exchanged anything there. They would not exchange the shoes so I currently have shoes that I can’t return that are a size too small for my friend ! I won’t go back there again! Terrible service.

Super management, managers go out of their way to help you. Very friendly staff. They make you feel welcome. I am a frequent Dunham's customer and they have always been great to me and my wife. They have alot of great deals too.

Very disrespectful, I went there looking for a rear brake light for my bike and they gfalloped me around the whole time and if I touched anything they would ask if I was ready to check out or if I put the item away. It was ridiculous. And quite imbaressing if I might add. I have never been treated this way in any store I've been in. I think if they was thinking I was there to steal or whatever. I'm sure there are more subtle ways of doing it.

I bought an AR (Black Rain) at this store. At the time of purchase I was told by the sales associate, Emma R. Rose, that if there were any defects with the product they have a 90 day return policy. The AR would fire one round and jam. When I took it back they not only refused to honor their policy they said they didn't have a 90 day policy. Furthermore they would not return it to the manufacturer for repair. Why would anyone spend that kind of money with out having some sort of warranty to protect the investment? Dont buy there!

Go elsewhere to buy a firearm. I have bought many firearms thru the legal process at other places, I always get put on "delay" because I have a very common name, after the 3 day wait for a response for which more times than not there is no response, I buy the firearm. Not here. Was told if I did not hear back after 3 days to come back and pick up the firearm...ok...normal stuff again. Drove 25 miles one way to pick up the firearm only to be told then that it's their policy not to release a firearm UNTIL they hear back from the ATF....no matter how long it takes. And people wonder why more and more people are buying their guns at shows and from private sales.
