Sadly, I just took my Standard Poodle for grooming this morning. After I went back home to wait for him to be done, I very soon received a text message asking if I wanted him to be shaved. I texted back that I wanted his hair to be 1/2" long. The reply back stated that when I made the appointment I asked that he be shaved. I said, I think you have the wrong person. I have NEVER had him shaved. I went back to pick him up because this new person did not know how to use the equipment to groom a poodle. While I was waiting for him to be brought out, the owner (I believe) looked over the half door and said she had heard the conversation and that when she told the new groomer that she couldn't groom a poodle, the new groomer said I asked for him to be shaved. I again said no, I think you're remembering a conversation with someone else. She denied that and said it was me. ***Interesting: if she overheard me say that I wanted my dog shaved, why did she tell the new groomer that she couldn't groom my dog, and then be TOLD by the new groomer that I wanted him shaved?*** In other words, calling me a liar. Wow. Like I don't know how I have my dog groomed? I said, well I just won't come back. Sad; really sad.

I have a mini golden doodle. She’s been there at Barks and Bows 4-5 times with no problem and she smelled really good! This last time about 3 to 4 weeks ago I picked out a haircut told her to leave the tail big and fluffy she messaged me & said tail was matted & i Nooooo it wasn’t because she was brushed before she went, I told her please do not cut on her. TAIL, she said OK when I went and picked her up her big fluffy tail was gone. She sent me a video and said all she did was pick it out which she sent me a video of after the haircut. Take at least a year for my puppies tail to grow back big and fluffy. Needless to say I canceled all appointments and we will not be back to Barks and Bows, I am one unhappy customer!😡

We took our bichon/shih tzu mix dog here and had a great experience. Had read other reviews and fortunately they were accurate - top notch. Had been taking him to the local Petco. While it was ok, we wanted to find a local groomer and small business. The cut was great, service friendly, and when my wife picked up our pup she was very surprised and happy to see him happy and socializing with the owner’s dogs. Would highly recommend and we will be back. First class experience. Thank you.

We brought my Shi zhu in and she did an awesome job. He looks great and he seemed really comfortable there. She texted "Your baby is ready" when he was done and she really cares about the dogs. She made sure to let me know he would have a sore spot from a mat. I will 100% be going back again!

I took my 7 year old German Shepard in for the first time to get groomed by a professional!! He looks so handsome!!! I have never seen him look so good!! I was so excited I called my mom and told her I wanted to drive him an hour for her to see in person how amazing he looks!!! I will definitely be back!!!

I Loved this place took my cat there for 3 years of service and they never let me down on her lion cuts. They were always amazing but recently when I tried to take her sadly after 3 years and of going and paying whatever price was asked for they no longer groom cats :( I was so upset by this. But I imagaine cats must be more difficult than dogs. Still sad to have to go elsewhere. Loved there work!

What an awesome experience. Very clean, friendly, quick, and most of all...affordable. I literally paid half of the price than where I had taken my dog before. He seemed to like it too, even his new bowtie. I will not go anywhere else as long as they are here.

Awesome job on my Baxter! They quick, conveniently located, reasonably priced, and most importantly they do a good job of cutting his hair. I recommend this place to anyone with a dog.

Great place! They take care of all my pets and I have never had an issue at all. The best thing ever is that they have security cameras in their grooming rooms and video all of the sessions so for anyone who worries about someone mistreating their pets while at a grooming appointment this should put your mind at ease :)

I won't return. It may be unrelated but I won't take any chances. The day after my 1st visit here, my 13 year old dog, with no history of seizures, had a seizure. Then the 2nd day after the visit she had 2 seizures. Like I said it may be unrelated but the coincidence is too much for me to want to return.

We moved to South Bloomfield and I tried a groomer in Circleville where I was HIGHLY disappointed. I am very happy with our grooming experience today. It was a little further for me to drive but it is worth it. We will be back.
