This little diner is a must visit! With indoor and outdoor seating, no trip on the triple nickel is complete without a bite to eat here. The menu is large enough to satisfy any appetite. The food is tasty and fresh. The staff is kind and efficient. They have a small selection of mementos to help you remember your visit and trip. The diner is small so trying to time your stop outside of typical busy hours is recommended.

This is a biased review. :-)This little town is near and dear to my heart. I only stopped at the Triple Nickel to get a piece of pie. Lots of motorcycles in the parking lot because they know what the best roads in Ohio are. A great place to stop for refreshing in the midst of traveling the curves. The coconut cream pie was delicious, I have known the person making the pies for half my life, and pies have always been the specialty. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere, too.

I had no reason to not leave a five. It is a very small place just right for that stop during a long drive. They do not seat very many at once, there are restrooms(clean) , a very nice menu with locally sourced items! The food was very good and portions were plentiful. Waitress was efficient and kind. The price was very acceptable considering it was mostly locally sourced veggies, and meats(lamb!).

Perfect breakfast place! Pancakes were a huge stack of 3 and gluten free, sausage gravy and biscuits all homemade and our waitress was amazing! We drove over an hour from Logan just to eat here on local recommendation.

Such a genuine, warm hearted environment and the food most certainty was delicious and sourced locally. Highly recommend the bison burger. Met the owner and she was a lovely woman with a beautiful story. Have struggled to find decent food options within a 30 minute radius to Athens. This will be our new go to. Check them out and support good people supporting the community!

A diamond in the rough! Located in a southern part of Ohio. My wife had first discovered this gem a month ago and she took me there on my last trip down to Athens Ohio. It was a wonderful experience, very clean and charming with a simple menu that served nothing but the freshest ingredients. Beef is local, all grass fed which makes for the best in freshness and flavor. The staff was very professional as well.

I stubbled across one of the best little Diner's ever when I was lost today. I thought I had been there once a long time ago and they had fantastic food, so stopped to gather some directions, and grab a drink and a bite to eat. My mind, belly, and wallet were not in agreeance. I cannot remember most of their names and the one I do remember is because it's the same as mine lol. I'm ashamed of that and I will find out but they made me feel at home and at ease and the lady I had a quick talk with on way in, and way out was my little guardian angel today she feed me the BEST BLT I think I have ever eaten, cup of great coffee and directions. I will not forget how to get there, and I will go back as often as I can, and of course have more than 6 dollars on me. I bet their pie is the BOOM I have to try it next time. I want to say a million thanks I appreciate it in more ways then one. Thank you for being your awesome self, you didn't have to do that and yet you did and I am so grateful, I will try and manifest ya'll some great tips you deserve that and much more. I cannot wait to go back. It is worth the drive so if you find yourself needing a food trip this is a great place to go, or if in the area make sure to stop and try you a little something I promise you will not regret it.

If I could rate it higher than 5 stars I would. You will NOT find a restaurant with fresher food than this place. Nearly everything on the menu is local (meat from down the road, produce from the garden out back). Outstanding service and absurdly low prices. Waited over an hour for food. When food arrived it wasn't very good, service was poor, customers who came in after us were served before us. Fish and chips were soggy, my chicken sandwich was overcooked. Fries were cooked in bad grease or something because they tasted burnt

The fish sandwich was small and terrible. I could not eat half of it fish was rubbery and I could not bite into it . They never asked how my meal was , not even when she picked up the plate and half of sandwich still on the plate . They never asked when I paid also . Just bad service.

Great stop along route 555. All local food. Had angus beef burger with sourdough bun with a side of coleslaw. Both were excellent and the burger was cooked to perfect temperature. Finished it off with a piece of coconut cream pie. Small restaurant and can get busy. They also serve breakfast. Look forward to it again on my next two wheel drive through.

The owner not only uses locally sourced meats, but much if not all of their produce is from her garden just behind the restaurant. They use great quality ingredients; My husband and I have had dinner here several times and typically get the shew burger with sweet potato fries. Their daily specials have yet to disappoint. We highly recommend this restaurant, it's a must whenever we're in town.
