My cat had a dental emergency and they worked him in immediately to be seen. What the cat needed was more than the clinic was prepared to do, but the vet spent an hour calling other clinics to get him in ASAP. We were able to get him in that day and surgery the next day and he’s doing great now.I appreciate their care and concern, I have no doubt without the vets help in getting him in elsewhere it would have taken days to get my cat help.

Wish I could put 10 stars! Go once & you won’t need to go anywhere else again. We’ve tried most of the local vets in Huntington, Proctorville, & Barboursville & this one by far is the best! Very affordable & great at their job! The staff is always so kind and helpful. The vet is really patient & informative. She always takes the time to listen & everyone is just so sweet and gentle with your pet. I absolutely love this place!

Our kitten broke his leg. Our usual vet was not taking calls. Every vet that we called was unable to see our kitten. Except for Chesapeake veterinary clinic, I told them what our emergency was & they booked us & we saw them the same day. The Dr & staff took good care of our kitten & we are so happy with the service that we have started using them as our normal veterinarian. The staff are friendly & we really appreciate them all!

I've had my dog here like 3 or 4 times and they have always been very nice, got him fixed up, and they are so generous with the cost, I can actually get this old dog there and not hesitate about how I'm going to pay for it. We are very lucky to have a good vet! We never had a regular one in all the years we were in Columbus.

They are absolutely some of the nicest people I've ever met in my life, just in general. They are understanding and listen to all of your concerns. They very comprehensive with everything and they're prices are so reasonable! I would recommend them to everyone! EVERYONE there is amazing. I'm definitely a client for life. And they are also very quick to get you into an appointment, no waiting weeks like other places.

I have had nothing but the absolute BEST care while taking my soon to be 6-year old pug to this clinic.Nikki, the front office manager, treats Mickey like he is her own. She has called to check in on Mick as well as given him extra special treats on his birthday. She is ALWAYS a friendly face who goes beyond her duties to make Mickey and me feel comfortable.Dr. Lawson is amazing at what she does. She is super patient and answers any and all questions that we may have regarding our pets. As a pug, Mick has certain health issues that other dogs do not experience. She is very thorough when doing her care with my flat-nosed baby, and explains everything to a tee.I would highly recommend this friendly, caring, and experienced clinic to any friend or family and have.

I take both my Great Dane and cat here and I love it. They are very friendly with your pets and very gentle. They know what they are talking about and if you tell them you are on a budget they try to stick within that budget when it comes to procedures being done. I have had to take both animals for same day appointments and they always do well with accommodating to those needs. We enjoy taking our animals here and will continue to go back.

I would absolutely trust these people with my life. We’ve been there a few different times for both of our dogs but with all of the Covid precautions that were in place previously, we never actually got to meet the staff or the Veterinarian. We had to have our 17 year old dog put down there yesterday (3/4/22) and the vet, Lisa I believe her name was, has a heart of gold. Same goes for the rest of the staff there. She was very upfront with us and pretty much said euthanasia would be the only option for us. I’m so thankful that my baby was able to comfortably transition from being in pain to being very relaxed and crossing over with the help of these amazing people. They let me hold her the entire time, they were already closed by the time that the euthanasia was administered, and they offered to let us stay with our baby as long as we wanted. It was so comforting to have these good people there during what I can only describe as a very devastating experience.

I love the Chesapeake Vet Clinic! They're so friendly, kind and thoughtful. They've been treating my Bostons like family their whole lives, and when our male Boston Sampson passed away they sent us a card when they found out, and it meant a lot to us. They're trustworthy, and that means so much when dealing with your pets health and quality of life. They recently removed a cpl masses from our baby girl Boston Delylahs little nose, and she's already so much more full of life and happier than she has been for a while.

Fantastic personable staff. Able to get me in quickly. On initial visit, electricity was out, but my pet required surgery and they took him to another location to complete to procedure. Highly recommended!

When you walk into a vet you are essentially handing your pets life over to them. You want well trained doctors with a good since knowledge and respect for his patients and their owners. When the doctor says,"All cats have fleas."Either he has been trained wrong, Lost faith in all owners, doesn't know anything, or does not care at all.This was HORRIFYING. I let him check over my cat. To his amazement she had not one flea on her.I then told him I wanted to leave payed for the appointment and left.This was so terrible I would never recommend this place to anyone.It might be a good place to take a pet if you just picked it up off the street and wanted to put it out of its misery. Otherwise DO NOT TAKE YOUR BELOVED PET HERE!

My Chi's eye was swelling I called and got a hassle free appointment the next day. The veterinarian and tech were both very friendly and treated my Chi respectful and very kind. Identified what might be the problem and sent us home with eye drops and an oral med which immediately started healing her eye. Thanks Chesapeake Vet Clinic.
