We had an big issue with our prepared food order for a party. Mistakes happen...The way that the entire staff including Heidi the manager handled the issue was amazing! Heidi even drove some of the food out to our house. The mistake was frustrating, but the wonderful way it was handled is a testament to the character and customer service that Chardon Giant Eagle always shows!Thank you to all the Chardon Giant Eagle Staff!

I haven't been to this particular Giant Eagle in a long time, but was pleasantly (mostly) surprised. They changed the whole place. I found everything that I went for fairly easily.

Everything is self check out. The prices are sky high but clearly they aren’t using all their earnings to pay staff. What’s next? Fill my own scripts? Corporate greed

I prefer the Chardon GE because it is more like Traditional Super Markets. Lots of choices traditional and new. Staff is top notch. The Displays are creative and retro in nature.

First time here went with the oldlady which I don't do very much but got me outta chores for Abit, nice store clean and the people that work there are very friendly and helpful the deli counter was impeccable very clean and lots of choices as was the meats section and produce for not going shopping very often not bad at all maybe I'll go with next time to get outta them chores again highly recommend it

It was a nice looking store but the same as any other one and anyone who has shopped at a Giant Eagle knows it all depends on where u live has how nice it can be and that is the straight truth

I have been to several Giant Eagles since I have been in Ohio and this one is hands down the best one and will be my go-to grocery store while I am here. The store is remarkably clean with a huge fresh fruit and vegetable section. They have Sushi and a few other eatery's, deli, and a bakery with lots of fresh bread selections. The Wine and Beer section has a great variety of spirits to choose from and there is a State Liquor Store as well. The meat counter had many cuts of fresh meat and the packaged meat and was well organized. I found everything on my list with ease. I just can't say enough about this store. Good job folks!

I’m leaving this review for the Chardon location’s bakery. Giant eagle donuts are actually very good…most of the time. Three times now in the past two months my husband and I have gotten their cream filled donuts on Sunday and we had to spit them out because something about them was horribly wrong. At first I thought it was bad oil, but they leave a nasty burning taste in your mouth so now I’m not sure what it is. I CAN tell you that they are inedible. Someone in the bakery needs to check the donuts for Sunday because it only happens on this day. We can’t be the only ones to have experienced this.

Always enjoy going to this giant eagle. Managers are always friendly and helpful. Staff never judges me when I empty all my coins and change into the self checkout register, lol. Plus, I love that they have the plastic bag recycling bin outside. Appreciate their efforts to help the environment by recycling plastic bags and also providing paper bag as a plastic bag alternative.

This is my local store and get all of my groceries here. Store is clean, plenty of carts, well lit and reasonable hours. I don't do discount food.Been shopping here for years and my opinion remains the same.2022 - Big Bird is doing the best they can to keep a stock of items. Seeing the rolling changes shows the effort they are going to.2023 Still my store. Only thing that bugs is when something I like isn't a big seller and gets dropped. I understand the business behind it, but still want my goodies.

Amid all of the Covid madness and the fallout thereafter, I want to point out one leader that has been far and away one of the most diligent, hard working, talented front end specialist that I have ever seen in all my 54 years. Ralph at the front end is terrific at what he does. I have been in several times over the past few months and every time Mr. Ralph is assisting with the help desk, corralling carts, or fixing my mistakes at the self checkout 😅He is truly one of a kind. Ralph, I thank you for your kindness to my family tonight and every time we shop. Especially in all the madness the world heaped on you after the pandemic. You deserve more support up there and it’s shameful that common folk don’t work anymore! Your hard work does not go unnoticed and I’m glad that in the current state of the world that there are a friendly, helpful, decent young men keeping us upright. Thank you again

Nice selection of fresh, canned, boxed and frozen food as well as quality make up, vitamins and pharmacy needs. The cashier Abby was very polite and sweet, she even loaded up my shopping cart as I was paying. Made sure to give me my reciepts. The fact that she loaded my cart for me was just one less thing for me to tackle and made my shopping with two toddlers one thing easier. Thank you Abby for being so kind-( even toward the end of a long day!)

We have been using the curbside pickup for the last few months and we love it. It is so convenient to pick out what you need on the website or the app, choose when to pick it up, and not have to go inside the store at all. It's handy when you know you are in a time crunch too.Now that we've been back to shopping inside, it's been great. There is always someone inside sanitizing the carts. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Very nice. I was asked by an employee while shopping if I needed help finding anything. The cashier did not greet me though and said "what?" when I greeted her which wasn't so great. The store was clean and well stocked.

I realize this store is located in Chardon and the prices are expected to be a little higher, but to my horror they were outrageously higher than most other Gisnt Eagle stores I frequent. Sticker shock was obvious

Employees more interesting in talking to each other than helping the customers. Stopped in for rotisserie chicken. They told me the chicken cooker didn't show up for work so they didn't make any chickens that day. They got a big laugh out of that, but I surely didn't. I definitely shop all the other grocery stores in middlefield first, then if I absolutely have to we stopped there to pick up what's left on our list.

Attempted online use is impossible since I am unable to inquire about anything. Several phone calls have been useless with no action by giant eagle however hang ups and return followup processed never aOccurs. I only get lip service. .verification code entries are not accepted nor is email or password. The only response I get is will get back with you with a case number assigned which means nothing.

Kristen, a Curbside associate is a queen and I love seeing her every week. She's so thoughtful, a lot of fun, and I'm jealous of her skincare routine. She makes visiting an experience I look forward to.Brooke, a Curbside associate, is a super star and has a hysterical personality. Vicky and Nicholas are fantastic and go above and beyond. Janet is 100% saccharin; she's so kind and sweet.

It's a very clean and attractive store. They offer a wide variety of products and services. Their prices are higher than other grocery stores, which is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. It's something I pay close attention to with high inflation.

Very clean and well stocked. Only complaint I have are those that are in the front handling buggies. There was an elderly woman having a hard time separating the carts about 2hrs ago while a heavy set gentlemen w/yellow vest stood there and watched her struggling. I seen that my daughter was having a problem also. I took it upon myself to help the elderly woman, then went over to help my daughter. She told the man that how can you stand there and watch people struggle with those cars and not offer to help. Just stood there smiling. People like that shouldn't have a job in dealing with the front of the store. If they aren't willing to help customers. The elderly lady just turned, looked at the guy and shook her head in disbelief. Please talk to your cart handlers as well as any new hires.

Not my regular store so it was confusing to navigate and locate items. Store was clean and well stocked. Employees were very friendly and helpful.

Not cheap on regular prices, but good sales and selection. Pharmacy has competitive prices. Self checkout is great with always long lines in other aisles.However, their curbside express is a mess. I ordered one week ago. Half the items were substituted. Their 3rd party driver delivered to the wrong address and couldn't retrieve the items. I asked for a refund which they did not agree to do until the next day. A week later and still no refund after talking to 3 separate individuals including a manager. I now am waiting for a call back. Ridiculous.

This is one of the friendliest stores in the area! It's kept clean and they have an alright selection! That said they are one of the smaller Giant Eagles in the areas, other local ones have more options when it comes to hot foods, premade meal, and other ready made items. But those same ones are the ones lacking a friendly staff.
