We had Aqua Doc out last mid summer to repair two leaks in our home pond (about 1 acre large) Our total was $3600 for two areas to be repaired. The one area was fixed but the second area began to leak two weeks later. We had put half down and still owed the other half at this point. We began calling Aqua Doc as well as the third party that does their excavation work. No one would call us back. At the end of the year we received a past due bill. They came as emails and printed mailed bills. I emailed accounting and they finally had a new project manager contact us. She never came to our property but the excavation company did. He said they didn’t dig deep enough or wide enough in the area and would discuss with aquatic about pricing.Aqua Doc just emailed saying until we pay our last due ($1900) they won’t come finish this work at a new cost of another $3000. Needless to say, after months of calls and only one person coming out we will not be working with them again.

This is our third year as a customer. The previous two were great, this year my pond looks awful, like an abandoned lake in the middle of nowhere. It’s embarrassing. I don’t know what changed, but it looks like it hasn’t been touched. It’s full of algae and vegetation. In addition, we haven’t received a single recommendation from AD as to how to clear it. The service person spends very little time at the property during the visit. What is even more ridiculous is they get you on a contract which requires “prepayment” before the season even starts, therefore you have no way of controlling the service that you pay for, and they are super expensive. It isn’t ethical. I am looking for a new company asap. I took photos of my large pond this morning after months of service, this is what my pond looks like.

Great place to get lake/pond supplies. We got our fountain from them. There people are always willing to help. The service department even showed me the maintenance steps for working on my fountain.

We have had Aqua Doc service our 2 lakes for many years. They started when my father was unable to do the maintenance himself. I have found them to be very thorough, attentive to details, and responsive to my questions and needs. When we found an invasive they helped me take care of it and gave me good advice. Their prices are very reasonable for what they do. They assign a specialist to your account so they come to know the property well and can spot changes before they have a negative impact. Well worth the money. The men who service our property are friendly, polite, take time to talk to me, and are very pleasant to deal with when they are here.

So dissatisfied. Pond is the worst it has ever been. Green algae that I have never had, filamentous algae that I told about when the estimate was given. This is a pond that we swim in daily and at this point I am very concerned that whatever has been done or not done has totally disrupted the balance in what has always been a pristine pond.Update: Aqua Doc came out at no additional charge to address the issues I am having. I appreciate the professional response and I am looking forward to a much cleaner pond.

Aqua Doc, who has done an EXCELLENT job with our pond mantenance... was called in to fix our pond initially built shallow/incorrectly by another contractor. When they peeled back the original liner, we were all in for a big surprise! : ( But they went to work and fixed it all!! The results are absolutely STUNNING! I must say... NEVER, ever have I seen a team of people work so hard!! Sarah, Kassie, Brian, John and Sandy... you have SOOoo earned my respect and gratitude!! Thank you for a job well done!

I can't say enough about what Aqua Doc has done for our lake. After fighting watermill & duckweed for 2 years and spending more money than I want to admit - they came in and cleared it up within 2 weeks! The total cost for the entire season will be less than we spent on just one ineffective treatment alone in the past! Our water care specialists is AMAZING. His customer service is second to none!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We inherited the service when we moved into our home three years ago. Aqua Doc has maintained our pond wonderfully since that time. They are responsive and we've had no issues with their service. They bust their tails when they open and close our pond for the changing seasons. I would recommend them to anyone who has a pond and does not have the time to properly maintain their pond.

I believe that the reputation of a company is built on those they employ. Those responsible for their customer service, client interactions and potential customers, are top notch. AquaDoc has provided service for those in my family, and have made a huge difference in their pond quality over the years.

Hard to do business with this company. Not sure if they are understaffed, but everything feels difficult. Had them replace skimmer box due to leak, pond still leaks. They billed me incorrectly and took 4 months to sort out. Called to get liner replaced, they told me would be a $250 consultation fee, and it would be sometime in March when they would come (no date) and no idea when they would actually do the repair. Reading other reviews, looks like others have had problems as well. Other options are popping up in the area, so do your research.

I live in an HOA that hired this company to deal with our silted in ponds in July 2019, more than a year ago. Still no action from Aqua Doc. I would strongly advise against hiring Aqua Doc for your pond needs and I’m sure our other 350+ homeowners feel similarly.Response to Reply: Homeowners have been kept in the loop and we have seen the excuse letter written by Aqua Doc. I also work in the construction industry so I understand weather and Covid impacts. The bottom line is, 14 months of absolute inaction after a signed contract on an outdoor project is insanity. I’ll be more than thrilled to remove this review when or If Aqua Doc ever takes Action.

We have been working with Aqua Docs since we purchased our property that had a pond. Jim Harmon and the whole Aqua Docs team have made what could have been a stressful situation if I were trying to maintain the pond, a very enjoyable experience.Jim and his team are quick to adjust the treatment as needed to respond to the weather conditions. Our fish are thriving and with the aerator that they installed for us, we have had a great survival rate in the winter.If you are looking for a team to take the pain out managing your pond and want to enjoy a beautiful and pond and have the peace of mind that a pond can bring, give Aqua Docs a call.

Service is expensive. Had good experience last year. This year, algae treatment repeatedly applied during heavy rain or immediately before heavy rain predicted. All chemicals get washed into a larger lake that I pay separately to treat as well. Very frustrating. Pond is full of green algaesfilament

We moved in too our new home a year ago. We have a beautiful pond and I had no idea how to take care of it. I did some google reviewing and found Agua Doc. They came out and assessed our pond, quoted us a price, I agreed and they were out twice a month to treat and take care of it thru the Spring and Summer. So easy, convenience and friendly. Could not ask for a better company. Just Love, Love, Loved them. We will be using their services year after year. Thank you Agua Doc.

I am a board member of an HOA that hires Aqua Doc to treats weeds that grow in the rocks along a large pond. In previous years their work has been satisfactory. However, that has not been the case this year. A late May treatment was not effective. When asked to remedy the situation their response was essentially we treated the weeds if you want them treated again.....same cost as before. If you have weed or pond issues and have an option other than Aqua Doc my suggestion.....take the other option.

Aqua Doc crew did a great job helping me with my 6K gallon Koi pond, assisting with treatment and the unfortunate loss of some fish from infected shubunkins introduced to the pond after quarantine. After researching the fish, we found out they were carriers. We had to sterilize the pond and start fresh. They were a big help with this project and gave great guidance over this whole process. Would truly recommend them.

Very disappointed with Aqua Doc appointment scheduling for service. Contacted them almost 3 weeks ago we made an appointment for 2 weeks out due to how busy they said they were. The day of my appointment I called mid-morning just to confirm since I hadn't heard from anyone and the young lady said she didn't see me on the schedule told me to hold on the line while she checks the schedule and came back on the line and said they had to bump me due to scheduling problems. I was never notified no phone call nothing! Had I not called I would have been waiting for no reason which by the way I took the day off to handle. We rescheduled for the end of the week and I was told that I would be the second appointment in the morning I reluctantly agreed. The day of the appointment we checked in again with the office and they said that I was the second appointment of the day and someone should be out between 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. depending on how their morning appointments go. Now almost noon I had enough I just called and canceled this is not the service for us you guys need to get into the 21st century other companies are giving phone updates through texting to keep their customers in the loop and not contacting your customer at all to let them know that their appointment has been canceled is truly unacceptable!

I have been calling three times regarding my pond maintenance. Finally got a pond cleaning but was told the hose was cracked and the office would call me about getting that fixed since I bought it from them less than 1 year ago. No return calls lost 3 fish now no irrational at all . Called back again tonight but not cofindent I will get the service I paid for . Horrible service .

If we could give this business zero stars, we would. Save yourself the frustration, money for a service that will not give good results (our pond looked awful most of the year), and time attempting to get in touch with someone to handle customer service issues. Communicating with the owner was even more frustating. There are other companies offering this service and we highly recommend you look into one of those companies instead.

Been w AD for 3 years now and their communication is nothing to rave about. I’m sure if you have a LARGE account they’re very accommodating but if you don’t then be AWARE. This is our 3rd pond manager in 3 years and it’s like teaching the new guy..... again. Poor communication, less than desirable results, just over all .....UUUUGHHHH. Do your research in your area first please, there’s other options out there.Look forward to the brass of AD reading this and hope you can resolve your under-satisfactory over all company function from my SMALL pond perspective. 🐸🚫

We called to inquire about their service. We were told a technician would call us within 48 hours to set up an appointment to come out and evaluate our property. After two weeks we called back and informed them that no one had contacted us. They confirmed our contact information was correct and assured us that we would be contacted in the next 48 hours. Two more weeks have passed and no one has called.

I live in a development with an HOA and one of our many ponds to be treated is located in my backyard . We have waited since 2019 to begin the pond dredged project with ours as one of the first on the list. As we come to an end of the season of 2020, no work has begun and finger pointing by Aqua Doc at our HOA Board (all volunteers) or our local government concerning the permits does not sit well with me. Aqua Doc is in this business to care for the ponds, all the other two entities want to do is get the storm water run off into the ponds and out of people's basements. Shame on Aqua Docs for another year of broken promises and excuses.
