They have the nastiest bathrooms. I do not understand why no one is able to tend to restrooms. They had a roll of paper towels laying on the toilet paper holds (really there is no toilet paper in the store) and it truly looked like the restroom has NEVER been cleaned. I was so disappointment in Cedarville store!!!!

Dollar General is no longer a discount store. Most prices are Convenient Store prices. Plus you have to watch the register because sale prices are not in the system.Maybe that's why the Ohio Attorney General is investigating them.Buyer beware

Now, if you're a college student, this place is a life saver, especially if you don't have a car. The closest Walmart is like 15 miles away, and when you need almost anything necessary for living life, you'll find it at Dollar General. The staff is super nice, however they do ramp up some of the prices because of its popularity. Overall it is usually a good shopping experience, and it never fails to have little random gifts I can but for my friends.

Usually never too busy. The store is pretty clean, and as organized as any Dollar General store. They're nice to do quick shopping for things you don't want to go to Walmart or Kroger's for. Employees are also very friendly in this location.

I have always appreciated and still do having a Dollar General store locally. It"s when I get to checkout and they say "do you want a receipt?" that irritates me. I am thinking what have you got to hide. Why are you being so sneaky? If your service is so bad that you do not want anyone to give a review on the receipt why not improve the service. As far as the variety of stuff in the store it has always been pretty good. And if I need to bring something back I need my receipt. Prices are pretty good.

Decent prices but unbeatable convenience given the closest Walmart is in Xenia. Great selection of home decor and snack foods. It’s good to go to for one or two items, but definitely not for a full shopping trip. Always better than the Shell station next door, which the college students call “The Rip” because it’s such a rip-off.

The cashier Jessica was excellent at helping me with finding apple cider vinegar ,picture frames and canning jars. She knew exactly where everything was .I really liked how friendly she was as I was being checked out! I really felt welcomed and I will visit again soon.All employees in the past were very rudeI haven't shopped here in a couple month's because how rude all the employees were.I hope you continue to have Jessica for customer service because she seemed to make my shopping experience enjoyable.

I don't ever leave reviews, but after this experience I had to. I went in at 9:42 pm, as I walked in I was "greeted" by a stern "You have 9 minutes." I walked past him thinking I surely didn't hear that correctly. Because first off that's rude, but second, I had 18 minutes. I looked for a few minutes for some enchilada sauce. I couldn't find it, so I decided to go ask this man. As I walked up to him, some teenage boys walked in. He told them "You have 8 minutes". After that, I asked where I could find the sauce. He walked me over and pointed me to the shelf I was looking at earlier. It wasn't there. I was walking out and the cashier had a line of probably five people. Just saying--- If he wanted to get out so bad, maybe he could have helped her; instead of being a "door greeter". I work retail, I get it, you want to get home and no one likes to close. But, even a "friendly reminder-we close at 10" would have been a little more appreciated. I'm leaving this review saying, no one should be treated like that. I was coming in for one thing, and it would have been appreciated if he would have helped me look.. instead of being so concerned with guarding the door.

Well, I had originally gave 1 star because I was really upset over a prepaid Visa I had got there. I just went in with the thinking they weren't able to do anything... thought was going to hear "it's a visa problem 'After speaking to the manager about the situation, she made it right within mins.I had called corporate (and got absolutely nowhere due to them hanging up on me 5 time's) so thank you so much for making this particular situation right right before Christmas.

Management is indifferent and apathetic to the needs of customers. Parked in their lot, bought a few things I needed in the store, went across the street to take care of a few things, came back a few hours later to them having towed my car! The manager made the call then tried to abstain responsibility when I held her accountable. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!! Outrageous situation and employees that are abrasive. Avoid this store

Had the worst experience that I've ever had in any Dollar General. Girl named Christie was very rude and disrespectful expeciall when it came to my service animal and she told me I was not to bring that animal back in the store.

Over priced everything. I went in to get batteries and never have seen such outrageously priced products before. It is at a convenient location being right accross the Cedarville a campus.

AS A PERSON WHO STRUGGLES WITH A DISABILITY, I THINK IT IS WONDERFUL THAT A PERSON WITH AUTISM HAS BEEN GIVEN THE CHANCE TO DEAL WITH THE PUBLIC ON A DAILY BASIS. This store is messy a manager John was horrible about a return. He accused me of stealing he needs fired the way he addressed me in that store.I wouldn't steal anything. I will tell everyone I know not to shop here

Love shopping here but the store needs organized. There is stuff pilled everywhere on the floors. I would think that it would be a fire safey hazard.
