A lot of the shelves had items messed up. It needs more room or compartments for stuff to look neat. Cameras would help so you don't feel as if your being watched. (Because trust me you ARE) if you're a white female with a purse you will be followed as well.

Pros: Convenient hours, reasonable prices, clean store, parking is adequate.Cons: Inconsistent staffing, takes too long to check out, parking lot's entrance/exit located too close to a dangerous curve - use caution when entering/exiting.

Love the store on corner of Venice and Tiffin Ave in Sandusky, Ohio...I disagree with the person who said there is no dollar deals...they have a whole long aisle of $1.00 products that are great deals...it's the closest store in the far West End of town to buy groceries and misc items esp when you are short on time or too much physical disability to walk through Kroger's, Menards, Meijers, or Walmart...they can be exhausting for those of us who are elderly...the employees have always been very friendly and extremely helpful...kuddos to all Dollar General stores and their employees💞💞💞

It is convenient however over priced and boxes in the way more times than not in most all of their stores.101 is not as bad.The helpers mostly unfriendly. A few are ok.Their prices run close to WalMart so dont save much other than gas it takes to go to Walmart

Cashiers are barely behind the counter and the manager accuses shoppers of stealing. She literally follows people around the store. The deals are great though.

Prefer this location to others in the area. Store is clean staff is nice and generally has what you need for a quick shopping trip.

Castalia Mall . The only place to shop in the area. A little bit of this and that cheap. 🙄 But the pictures posted on this site by Dollar General are advertising this place falsely. This store looks nothing like the photos. 🤨

I love all the Dollar Generals. They remind of the old general stores with a large variety of household staples at reasonable price and in convenient locations in neighborhoods and small towns.

There are two women workers there at the Castalia Tiffin Ave location that are the most rudest grouchiest hateful women that I've ever seen if you don't like your job then quit go somewhere else right?

On rt.101 outside castalia ohio......best one yet. I go there a lot. Just as close as the two in town but somehow I like it better.
