This is a great hotel. I have been here twice.i have no complaints at all about the hotel or the staff. I was here for work and my times got moved and I needed to stay a little longer and they let me do late check out without a problem. That was a stress reliever. I appreciate all the hard work all the staff does. I will surely stay here again when I work in this area.

While visiting the area I thought I would give them a try.I almost booked on Expedia but decided to go in and see what I could negotiate.Well with my AAA discount I was able to beat Expedia by quite a bit.Desk clerk was extremely helpful, and courteous.The room was fantastic.If you are going to be somewhere and need a base of operations check them out.Full sized refrigerator, 2 burner stove. Utensils, everything you need to feed yourself.No breakfast in the morning, but you can make your own in the room if you want.Loved it and will visit them again for sure.

Very quiet and comfortable place to stay! We drove 35 minutes from New Philadelphia to stay here and it was worth it. Price was extremely reasonable and even though there is no breakfast there were plenty of options nearby to grab some brekky to go. A very peaceful stay and it is worth considering if you want a peaceful night’s sleep at a reasonable price.

This is by far the coolest hotel we have stayed at in a while. The pool outside was extremely clean and in an area where it wouldn’t get full sun all day but enough sun to enjoy it without frying. They have board games for families to use and DVD’s to check out. If you don’t like what is in tv then every room comes with a dvd player to enjoy a movie together. Outside also has grills for a possible bbq option. I have never seen a hotel that is so family and friend oriented. This is a place where people can get together and truly bond. Absolutely amazing! We will be back!! Highly recommend. The staff was friendly, the gym was equipped with exactly what was needed and there is a little laundry area downstairs. Everything was very clean!

Would give 0 stars if possible. I booked and paid for a room through Expedia. I called 2x during the day to tell them I was lost and I would be extremely late, well after midnight. I was GAURANTEED my room was paid for and would be waiting for me. I got here and was told my room was canceled even though it was paid for and I had called 2x. I asked was I supposed to sleep in my car. Night clerk did NOT care or want to help me. I insisted on the manager being called and finally got to get a room that I had already paid for...and they made me pay a 2nd time. I will be contacting corporate and my bank to have the 2nd charge removed.

We arrived late ~11 PM. Ryan greeted us with a smile, answered any questions and check in - fast & efficient! Our room was spacious, clean, modern and came complete with kitchenette and full size fridge. Overall great value! 7/13-15/23 Update. Had another great stay at Candlewood in Carrollton. This is just an all-around nice place - clean facilities and rooms & friendly staff. We opted for a nice suite and were pleased with the accommodations.

Cleanish place. A wedding booked rooms. Shuttle running at 3:00. Off course my room isn’t ready until 3. So getting early was a mute point. And had to get settled in late at night at an nonsober state. Staff friendly. My room (400) I think was used for staff refrigeration because it had 4 open cans of pop in it. So we didn’t trust the cleanliness of the glasses. We’d wash em if we did use em anyways. Elevators were pleasantly fast.

It was lovely!!! I got a king room and it was so much bigger than expected. And the price was very reasonable. The room had a full sized fridge and a kitchenette. Bed was comfortable and the towels and sheets were soft. Also the towels were big enough to wrap myself in. Will definitely stay again

The washers and dryers are nice to have access to, BUT, the top right dryer does not dry at all, it should be fixed immediately, your clothes will be left soaking.The water pressure in my room was VERY weak.The beds are VERY comfortable.

This is a very nice hotel, it is a little pricey but the rooms are very nice, comfortable and decent size. All rooms come with a thermostat so you can set your desired temperature. The kitchen is very nice, there's a fridge, dishwasher, sink and a small stove top to the side. There's also a coffee maker, cups, plates, bowls, silverware, etc. They really go all out. The bathroom is nice too and then you have the bed and a flat screen TV with a DVD player. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Upon arrival,we were greeted by the friendly staff. Our room was spacious and clean. Having a stove and fridge was helpful since we were staying a few days. They had a small snack room as well as drinks and health and beauty items if you forgot yours. The pool was small but still fun to play in. They also had fitness area. Our stay was pleasent and would stay there again.

Overall, a nice place to stay. My family and I had to stay at this hotel for 6 months! For the first couple of weeks it's pretty cool. Although, for the half of the year that we spent at the hotel it was the cold half. So, the outdoor pool wasn't open until we didn't really have to stay there anymore. (they have one pool there and it is the outdoor one) And the rooms are on the more inexpensive side because the hotel is designed for more long-term stays. Our family has tried both thier standard room and thier suite. If you have more than four people you should probably get the suite option. And their staff is pretty friendly. So, it's a pretty good choice overall.

The one person on staff that we saw was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and surprisingly spacious. There was a brief fire alarm in the morning, and the automatic door in the lobby was broken, requiring you to manually slide it open and closed. There is no complimentary breakfast, which may actually be a good thing. If you need a place to stay in this rather out-of-the-way town, it's not a bad option. Breakfast would be better elsewhere anyway, if you're not a stranger to hotel breakfasts.

The room was very clean and comfortable! Wifi was excellent.Nice new hotel in an area that needs it!I think the check in lady saved all her energy for other guests. I overheard her explaining amenities, local restaurants ,and exchanging pleasantries with others. We didn't get that kind of treatment, or the free room upgrades that she excitedly gave to two guests within earshot.

For the Candlewood Hotel to be located in such a small cow town, it sure is an extremely busy place! Which I've found is for good reason! It's actually the top hotel in the area for about 28miles or a 30-45 minute drive in any direction. Staff do a fabulous job accommodating the constant influx of guests with a "down home feel". Trying their best to make sure there's always a fresh pot of coffee in the lobby for guests, while keeping up with the high demand for more fresh towels and will STILL stop to take the time to help you with directions or just point you towards the best options of places to eat locally.....now THAT'S some humble hospitality done right!

Hot , high pressure but slimy hard water (which isn't there fault but effects the rating never the less). Clean new rooms, plenty of parking, friendly staff. Best hotel in town. Towel layout is strange in the bathroom with the bath towels away from the shower.

Had a great stay. The hotel is very new and clean, and the rooms are lovely. Very accommodating for our wedding party during one of the busiest weekends of the year for the area. Especially appreciate all the help from Deborah, the Sales Director there, who was consistently looking for ways to help make our experience better.
