We take our Shichon here regularly for grooming, and I can’t recommend this place enough! Hank can be an anxious dog, but he regularly sees Brandi and Brandon, depending on schedules, and they do a FANTASTIC job with him every time, no matter how he comes in. I’m so happy I found this gem for my boy’s affordable grooming appointments!

Our family feels blessed to find a company that cares so much for our pup. We use daycare, boarding, and grooming services. Before starting daycare (she goes occasionally) Kala was much more reactive and not as welcoming as she is now. The socialization has been great for her. GRF is the PREMIER boarding facility in central/southeast Ohio. We have taken our four dogs there for years and NEVER worry that they’re being well taken care of. The staff goes well over and beyond to keep them happy, safe and LOVED like they’re with their own family. We use their grooming services exclusively. We have three Danes and a wee Nugget (Chihuahua pug mix) that absolutely go nuts as soon as they see the Farm. They know it’s about to be a blast! We have been using GRF regularly for over two years for grooming and boarding for our goldendoodle. The staff, care, and facility is absolutely top-notch. Our boy loves to go there, and he totally adores his groomer. They communicate well and are extremely personable, available, and helpful. I appreciate all of the updates they’ve made, especially the grooming facilities, indoor flooring, and the K9Grass artificial grass for cleanliness. They give nothing but the best. Miles loves it at the farm!

We have had the greatest experience with GRF in the year and a half that we've taken our pup there. We started taking our pup during the pandemic and they were awesome with communication. They've made updates to their facilities in the time that we've been there (adding in K9 grass) and its always clean when we drop off and pick up. Our pup knows and loves the staff and they're awesome about taking pictures and sending updates. They post pictures on their FB page throughout the day as well, which I love. They have pics on their FB to show inside the facilities, as they stopped doing tours during the pandemic and are some of the easiest people to reach out to for questions about care and amenities during a boarding stay. We had our pup attend daycare for about a month (once a week) before boarding her to help her adjust to the new space and she did great while there. We have a Cane Corso and have had the most difficult time figuring out where to board her. She is a larger dog so the vet recommends we wait to spay her until she's two. Most places do not accept unspayed dogs after 6 months and the ones that do take them do not allow them to play with other dogs. My dog loves other dogs and I hated having her left out. We found Golden Rust Farms and they were a blessing. She was able to play with the other dogs all day on the farm and looked like she was having the time of her life. I will never take her anywhere else.

I have been here about 8 times to get a haircut for my miniature Yorkie. The attendant does a good job, especially since my pup is a crazy wiggler. When I pick her up she is calm and happy, something she definitely was not with previous shops.

GRF played a huge role in socializing our pint sized puppy Winnie with their daycare services. It was so convenient to drop her off before I started my day at school, see pictures of her throughout the day, and then pick her up exhausted! She always had the best time!

Boarded our little monster for 2 nights while we went to cedar point. When we got back he was so exhausted he wanted to do nothing but cuddle for the next 2 days. For him, I think it was like a 2 day trip to the dog park. I think it's pretty safe to say he enjoyed himself. We'll definitely be boarding him again on our next mini vacation.

A neighbor asked for referrals in our Facebook neighborhood group for a place she could board her dogs and the company that repeatedly kept coming up was Golden Rust. Coincidently, I was preparing to have my second child and also needed boarding care for my fur baby so I figured hey, my neighbors are raving about them for a reason, so why not give them a shot. And let me say I was not disappointed. They were so personable and most importantly accommodating. "Pets" are family and you want to ensure they are safe and happy when you're away. So things that really stood out for me about Golden Rust... Family Farm (space to roam), extended play time, do not charge for extra walks and affordable.... can't beat it. Not to mention had my human baby came early they would have found the space to still board my fur baby. I can't say enough about this company...they even took the time to get a gift for my newborn. Who wouldn't want to leave their pet with someone who goes the extra mile when it's not asked of them nor expected. If you care about the well-being of you're pets while you are away, it's a no brainer....Golden Rust Farms Pet Resort.

Amazing place! We've sent our dogs to daycare and we've boarded them here. They care so much about the dogs and posts tons of pictures to their Facebook page so you can always check in on them playing with all the other dogs. We can't even mention going here in front of our dog unless we are walking out the door to drop her off, she loves to go! I highly recommend Golden Rust Farms.

Can’t imagine taking my pup anywhere but GRF! The staff there treats the dogs like they are their own, and my dog loves the staff just as much. He gets excited when we turn onto their road because he knows he gets to see his favorite people and fur friends. I recommend GRF to everyone I know! The best part is, my energetic pup sleeps for hours when he gets home because daycare wears him out! :)

We have only boarded our dog once before for one night and we were scared about dropping her off. This time was 3 days. They did an amazing job with her! She wasn't very socialized with other dogs and they worked with her and she did great! Love this place. They posted pics on Facebook the whole time we were gone so we got to see what she was up to. We'd def recommend to others.

We’ve been taking our dog Koda to Golden Rust for a while and couldn’t be happier with the experience. He is well loved while there and comes back happy and worn out. He literally hops to the door when we drop him off. The staff get excited to see him. We love seeing pictures daily when he is there and how much fun he is having. The folks at Golden Rust treat the dogs like family when they are there. We’ve had wonderful experiences with daycare, boarding, and grooming. They pay attention to each dogs needs and truly get to know the pets that they see.

This place is hands down awesome for your fur babies. My dogs love the day care and the grooming is top notch! I think the difference here compared to some places is that they LOVE dogs and they treat them like part of their family. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Fantastic place to board your dog! We are thrilled with Kyle's business, he does it right. We have seen pics and videos every day of our dog running and playing with the other dogs. We know he is in good hands and we are happy he is outside getting exercise and having fun, not stuck in a cage almost all day. I highly recommend Golden Rust Pet Resort for all your boarding needs.

We love Golden Rust Farms! I loved how much my dogs got to be out and not be stuck in a tiny crate all weekend when we were out of town. Affordable too which makes a big difference when you are gone for multiple days. They are awesome at posting pictures so I could see our furbabies as well. We had to board them somewhere else because they were full the weekend we needed and I will now always make sure I schedule well in advance so that doesn't happen again. Our dogs were way happier and came home tired at Golden Rust Farms than the other place. Highly recommend!

Would definitely recommend for daycare! Our pup has a blast and comes home happy & wiped out from playing with his friends all day. Service is great. We love the pictures and videos posted throughout the day to see what the pups are up to and that they’re doing well. Looking forward to scheduling more daycare days as well as using boarding for any future trips!

Golden Rust farms is wonderful!! My dogs had a wonderful time there and I loved seeing the facebook posts daily with them having fun. Kyle and his family took wonderful care of my fur kids and their prices were so much more reasonable then other places. We loved them so much we booked out for two more vacations for our pups. Highly recommended!!

Gracie stayed this past weekend for a short stay. This is the first boating location she came home without her pads rubbed raw and bleeding. We had the groomer also clean up some of her fur and it looks great. The facility was very clean with a great outdoor area for the dogs to play and run! I’d strongly recommend this family owned place. My one recommendation would be to explore morning drop offs. This may be a challenge for suck a small operation but would be very beneficial for those that travel short trips.

We dropped off our GSD at Golden Rust Farms and we were met by the owner. He immediately struck us, and more importantly our dog as a good person. I felt totally comfortable while we were on vacation and didn't worry once. We were sent pics of her and her new found friends, and I'm not sure she was ready to come home to her boring "real" life. Are ANY of us ready to come home to reality after a vacation? While it was a bit extra, we had her groomed and brushed out (LOTS of fur on a GSD) and she looked and smelled GREAT when we picked her up. All emails ( well just one requesting the grooming) was answered PROMPTLY. She had a great time and was very well cared for. Will use Golden Rust Farms Pet Resort anytime. Friendly, and obviously dog lovers and it shows.

We had a family issue out of town, and we needed to board our dog. I decided to try Golden Rust Farms Pet Resort (GRFPR) on the advice of a friend. I had a lot of things on my mind and was moving fast to try to get everything done so that we could catch our flight. I dropped our dog off the night before, just as planned. However, I realized when I got home that I had accidentally dropped the dog off with our cat's food. (The bags look very similar, and I was in a hurry.) Anyway, I contacted GRFPR. They checked and confirmed the problem. When we realized that there wasn't a way for me to get the food there before my 4 am flight, GRFPR said they would take care of it. I figured that my dog would probably be fed some type of dog food that they had available, and that she would probably have some tummy troubles, but I had no choice but to go. However, when I returned, I was so pleasantly surprised. GRFPR had actually driven all the way to COSTCO (where I buy my dog food) and bought the same dog food that I usually feed my dog so that she wouldn't have any tummy troubles. I still can't believe it! I think it was so kind and just way above and beyond what I expected! On top of that, my dog got a bath and nail trim, and she came home happy, clean, and soft! I would definitely recommend GRFPR and absolutely plan to go back when I have future boarding needs! THANK YOU, GRFPR!!!
