This Save a Lot used to be a real cool place to come to, until they sold out. I went grocery shopping today and there was no carts to use inside the store.A lady told me it's only a quarter and you get it back, all you have to do is walk back outside to get a cart...?That's about as inconveinant as it gets. I go through checkout and I dont get to keep my cart, he already loaded it up in another cart, so I couldn't get my quarter back either. Why did the lady tell me what was incorrect? That ws bunk!And I bought 9 things...and it was 41 bucks. SO it's not Save A Lot anymore....It's Cost A Lot. I don't know if I will return there or mot at this point. This place is going downhill.

Nice staff. The only issue I have is I can tell some of the frozen products get thawed and refrozen. (One example is the hot and spicy banquet wings). I think they have a problem with their coolers staying at temp.

Why every time I get vegetables from here they look like this? People are nice but geeze! Can we get som fresh fruit and vegetables One time please?

Them cashiers at the mahoning road location need better customer service. Today I was waiting in line the head cashier told me and another customer behind me ti go to checkout 3 so we did we both waited a cashier walks up but goes to checkout 1 and takes all the people at the end of the line who just joined the line and no one ever came to 3. This is not the first time every time they open a lane they take the people at the end who just got there and makes us who have been waiting wait even longer. I quit shopping this store because of it today I went because it was closer to home and only needed rigatoni but guaranteed I will never step foot in that store again Walmart is not too far from there.

I was covertly emotionally abused by Debbie, a cashier. It was about 7pm at the time of my visit, on February 3rd, 2019. I had never been to this particular location before, it was very dark outside and I could not tell which door to go into. In most stores, even if you go in the Exit door you can still get into the main part of the store, but they had it closed off. Otherwise, I would have just continued on my way. Yet the cashier working at that time just stood there, condescendingly smirking at me without even trying to help me. She belittled and negated my existence. She continued to stonewall me and treat me as if I didn't exist when I got to the checkout counter by refusing to move the conveyor belt down to accommodate me and the items that I was purchasing. I had to look like a complete jerk by asking her, "Can you please move this down?" The average adult knows how to treat people with common decency. This individual is very character disturbed. This behavior is very disturbing to me and unacceptable. I was very shaken by this experience and will not be returning to this store. Furthermore, when I confronted her about her behavior she refused to even look at me or acknowledge me and made some disparaging remark about "At least I'm able to read." regarding the signs on the doors. Then, when I asked to speak with her manager she lied and told me he was not there and that I would have to call the number on the receipt in the morning. At some point, she called Jeff, the manager up front because she did not want to deal with me anymore. He came out, I briefly explained why I was upset, but I did not feel that I was being taken seriously and therefore felt it necessary to contact Corporate. Thank you.

I picked up some ground beef and cooked it the same night. Ended up with food poisoning. Haven't been able to keep food or drink down for almost 2 whole days since. I can't believe a chain grocery store doesn't take food safety into consideration when selling raw meat. Shame on you. I just hope more people don't get sick because of your store's lack of hygiene and food safety.

Got the run around about A HAM that was CLEARLY POSTED IN THE AD AS A SALE $0.99 PER POUND...This was the LAST one (Shank portion) and had NO TAG...had to wait 10 minutes holding up the other customers in line as ONLY one line was open..Cashier stated "Shanks are more per pound"...Not advertised in the AD that way...Manager had to be called because there was NO AD at the Register...but she had just told the lady in front of me, that she should know the prices because she had to weigh and mark THEM!! Pretty poor Customer Service

Save a lot? NOT! Just as high or higher than any other grocery store, with off brand products and not as good. You use to find good prices good for quick pick items.

Well if this is the one on tuscarawas st the owner answers complaints in reviews buggies have been so much easier.i haven't paid for one or was hard to get in awhile. Oh Porterhouse steaks go on sale and pretty dam nice

Shouldn't have the name "Save-A-Lot" when you don't really save anything some things there are cheaper at Walmart!! This company should be ashamed of it's self Also when you go there there's usually not enough cashiers there and you have to wait in a long line it's also dirty in this store

For some reason when I go here it is almost closing time. I usually get the same cashier and she is always very friendly! I like the fact that they dont announce ever 5 minutes that they are closing.

There were out of alot of things, and what I saw I didn't like, they had a bunch of little turkeys out no big turkeys but the worker brought 3 20plus# turkeys out from the back 4 one person, not rite at all, don't care if they weren't 4 other people, called hoarding.

Very expensive. Walmart is cheaper on almost every product. Your milk is $2.99, Walmart is $2.95, Aldi's is $1.99. A bag of sugar is almost $2, the same size bag at Walmart is $1.37. Your box of chicken broth is about $1.49, Aldi's chicken broth is $1.19, Walmart is $1.12. Your generic spaghetti sauce is a $1.49 a jar, name brand Ragu at Walmart is also $1.49, shall I go on...

this is one of the best stocked save a lots around. we frequent this place. get a lot for your $$. meat is pretty decent too!
