Really nice place and the fish are clearly well taken care of, got some from here today and they're doing great and I absolutely love them! The guy at the store was really friendly and you can tell he cares a lot about the fish there. Everything was priced fairly and I was able to stock up on plenty of supplies as well as they have a huge selection. Would definitely shop here again!

The owner (Joe) is such a friendly and helpful person. You can tell he really cares about what he does and that he cares about his aquatic friends. He’ll tell you his professional opinion and will advise against things that he truly feels aren’t the best. Excellent customer service and a great selection of fish that are very clearly well taken care of! His son is just as helpful and caring! He is working on his own line of nano tanks that I’ll be sure to get my hands on, so stay tuned and come in and check this place out!

Very knowledgeable. Will be back once I get paid to pick up some essentials for my new saltwater tank. He will let you know if what you're buying is going to be a good or bad idea and let you know if what you're buying is a waste of money for what your end goal is. Answered alot of questions as to why certain peramaters in my tank just weren't adding up and what I could try to fix it.Pretty tanks to pick from; healthy looking fish and nice bright corals.**I've been coming here for a while now, still great quality and my review above stands. I wish I could go in more often

Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Rather than just sell me fish and equipment Brendon took time to explain to me how a saltwater tank cycles and what to check for. He was extremely patient with me and answered about 1000 questions that I had. I will definitely be back and purchase all of my saltwater supplies and fish from Ocean Rift Aquatics.

Very high end store. A store for enthusiast fish keepers. Very professional look with beautiful tanks and high end equipment. Still well stocked even during quarentine. Could use more freshwater aspects in my opinion. Owner is very nice.

Stopped in for a visit and found the owner very nice an knowledgeable. 4 star do to so unhealthy fish but that happens in any store. His live rock has great shapes and is priced for the market. I will be back in future for sure.

North Canton’s best kept secret. A true gem tucked away in a corner of a small plaza on south Main St. I was amazed when I entered this wonderful establishment to find out that it has been here for over five years and I never realized it was there. The owner is very friendly and didn’t mind my spending quite a bit of time looking at the beautiful fish and other aquatic species on display. I urge everyone to take a few minutes out of their day and visit Ocean Rift Aquatics; you will be glad you did.

Joe (the owner) is a great guy who genuinely cares for his fish, corals and invertebrates as well as his customers. He will give his honest opinion about what you should and should not put in your tank as he understands the needs of the fish/corals/invertebrates he sells. I have bought coral, saltwater fish and inverts from here and have had great success with them. The store also has a smaller freshwater fish section so whether you are into saltwater or freshwater tanks I would give this place a look for many of your aquarium needs and wants.

I've gotten all but one of my saltwater fish here. He is my go to guy if I have any questions. Helped me understand my lights better so I could start growing coral. I got a little mushroom the other day and it opened up really well. I dont like buying any fish or inverts unless they come from ocean rift; I never have to question if they're healthy.

Very knowledgeable, he will not try to sell you things you do not need. He will even suggest for you to not buy something if he thinks there will be a confrontation in your tank. Very well stocked, and if by chance he does not have something he can order it for you. He even has freshwater available for those who are interested.

Prices are a little more expensive than your big chain store. So, I wouldn't say it would be worth it for Freshwater unless you prefer a higher chance of a healthy fish through Joe keeping up maintenance. Saltwater is where the real value is. Still a little bit more expensive than what you can find listed online, but once you add in shipping costs, you save a lot of money. Especially when you want to only add a few fish at a time. Trade-ins for equipment that come in can be well worth it too, and Joe makes sure everything is in well working order. Corals are also extremely cheap and I assumed their captive fragged based on price, which is a nice eco benefit.The cleanliness is amazing, best I've ever seen for any aquarium pet store. Joe is also extremely friendly and helpful with advice.

This is the fourth Ocean Rift Aquatics Ped ID Tag we have ordered... one for each of our beloved dogs as they came to us. They are very well made, the engraving does not erode away like some other tags do. I am so glad I found the Ocean Rift Aquatics Pet Tags online. I won't order any other.

There should be a sign on the front door that says "No beginners or fresh water." Cynical, Jaded and Demeaning is the culture here. Regretfully I spend $75 here and that is all he is getting from me. I will travel to another town for any of my fish supplies and needs.

Great store for both salt water and fresh water aquariums. Owner is very knowledgeable and has a great choice of different products. If he does not have a product he will get it for you. Great place!
