Took my morkie in for his bi-yearly grooming, and they did an amazing job of transforming him from a raggedy teddy bear to a fancy pup. No complaints from him or signs of cuts (he hates home grooming) so all in all amazing place for your baby, also they have a great rate too.

I have been going to Mellett Animal Hospital for 40+ years. I started with Dr Hickman, then with Dr Blocher. He is the very best. My cats and German Shepherds love ❤️ (loved) him as he is kind, gentle, slow-moving, and quiet speaking. He doesn’t scare them when he walks in. Dr Blocher is honest and when I lost my first German Shepherd, he teared up with me. He has a big heart and treats animals like his own. He is the best. I absolutely 💯 love this place!! I've been going here for over 20 years. The staff is organized and friendly. I've never had to wait for my appointments. Which is nice because you don't have to worry about entanglements, which is a concern. They offer many other services as well, one stop shop!! They were so sweet and attentive to my little fur baby. If you need someone who cares about animals and understands your connection to your animal, I definitely recommend this place. They also have pretty fair prices and have payment plans through 3rd parties if you're worried about funds.

The staff is very friendly and professional. Dr Keller is very calm and gentle with my dogs even when my senior is being very difficult. He always answers all my questions. We started seeing him by recommendation of a neighbor when we moved down here from Michigan. My senior girl was already on incontinence medication from her Michigan vet that they don't carry at at this office, but Dr Keller had no problem writing a paper script to get it filled with refills so that I can keep her on what we know is already working for her. When I took my new puppy in they did everything to make it a positive experience. Also, the groomers there let me go in the back with them when they do my girl's nails since she hates having her nails done and does better with me there. The groomers are the best I've ever had taken my dogs to by far.

They really care about animals here unlike the emergency vet on Whipple who we won't name (you know the one). Everybody was nice and the docs know their animals. Reasonable price for the visit. Hope to schedule our pup to get neutered soon.

Love taking my dog here. Always polite and helpful. Had a not so nice experience with a rude woman who decided to bring her two dogs in at the same time and couldn’t control them. They decided to come after my poor dog who already has enough anxiety as it is. Thank goodness for a worker who came to help me get her dog off of mine! If you can’t control two dogs at the same time then don’t bring them in together. That definitely needs made aware.

We have been taking our dogs and cats to Mellett for many many years. In the past several years, we have noticed a lack of compassion for our pets and the concerns we have addressed. It always seems rushed and truthfully, I don’t think staff care about the animals- just another client. After 2 long years of our dog battling cancer, we have made the hardest decision to put her down. However, they were going to charge us twice as much as surrounding vets. Several hundred dollar difference. Needless to say, we have collected our pets records and will be moving on to a new vet local to us. Who is charging $240 to euthanise AND cremate. Mellett has really let us down and it’s unfortunate as we have been clients for so long.Also wanted to add that the other vet I am going to is offering us a clipping of fur and a paw print - included in the total cost of 240.. Mellett wants $10 for a paw print.. in total- Mellett was going to charge us SEVERAL hundred more dollars than surrounding vets. 👎🏻

We take all 3 of our pets to Mellett Animal Hospital for all of their needs. We have never had better service! Appointments are easy to make, and thier email reminders are appreciated. I highly recommend them for your pets' needs, whether it's vaccines, check ups or more serious. Their service, compassion and dedication are top notch!
