Would give 0 stars if I could. They never have it organized carts always in the way the customer service is horrible and their hours are subject to the cashier's discretion apparently. If they close at 9 u better be there at 8:30 ATLEAST because at 8:35-8:40 they won't let you in unless they feel like it. They definitely need some better workers at this store.

A bit ghetto for my liking but I guess when ur in the hood it's better to have this place than another over priced convenient store, smh... The people there are okay with some type of dignity but I just wish they were a little quicker at the check-out, either that or open up another register. Is that so much to ask for!?! Ugh, I guess so.. anyways, besides the amount of time you are in there due to "employer preference" it's competitive prices and you don't have to leave the hood and venture out on the bus. Yes that's right, it's most likely within walking distance unless you are one of those people in the hood fortunate enough to have a license, or even a car for that matter to have the luxury of being able to drive to the dollar general. Must be a rare thing though because there is always just four to five cars in the lot and for some odd reason the line is to the back of the store and I'm stuck waiting for 45 min to pay and get out of there. All in all, it definitely has its ups and downs that's for sure...

Very overpriced. 1 box of macaroni and cheese was $4. A1 was $3.95.I was gonna get cookies for the kids but only the off brand was reasonable but they looked dry and disgusting. So no cookies.But Then the cashier rings it as food stamps but I was using a debit. He corrected it but my first thought was "omg , thank goodness I'm not. Because these prices are ridiculous and I'd have to spend such a huge percentage."Being there was no other grocery stores near there this is a store that provides for a huge community and clearly they are taking advantage of there not being another store and financially they are making a killing.

One of my favorite place to go. When ever I come down to Ohio from Anchorage Alaska I spent hundreds of dollars buying all kinds of quality merchandise, to send back home. Wish we had this store in Alaska. Do you know that there is one in Dawson Creek in Canada. However, they are called the $1.50 store?

I got the cops called on me today at the Dollar General in Canton by the manager because my truck set in the parking lot for an hour while I shopped the manager came and grabbed my me and my car and said you're done lady and said the Canton cops were on their way when I asked what I had done she said that my truck was in the parking lot too long I thought this was a free country but obviously it's not because in January I got pulled over because I had expired tags on my truck 4 days expired it was 3:30 in the morning and the Massillon police asked me what I was doing out and where I was coming from I told him I didn't know there was a curfew in Massillon Ohio I'm 44 years old and never seen such s*** and all my life and Stark County Ohio

I'm a girl on a budget Dollar General store has great deals. Comparable to beauty supply stores offering minimal pricing on shampoos, and etc. Great deals on food. Overall Dollar General is convenient and competitive in pricing making it a great place to shop.

Never in my life have I seen a dollar general so unprofessional until yesterday there was a long line and we seen people at the cashier so we thought they were open but that was OK that’s fine so we went to the went to the other line well when they opened up didn’t say a word to us they didn’t say you know what you guys were here before these people you guys come over here they had us keep on waiting in line. no that is racist as hell so I am calling the manager today to tell them they are lucky I don’t sue.i think it happened bc I am white or my bf was Puerto Rican

Love Family Dollar. They cld use more cashiers though. 1 cashier dont get it. They are busy but, every1 is busy n dont wanna spend anymore timw waiting in line. Thats my only complaint n these cashiers are frustrated by it too n I don't blame them. Forget about it if there is a price check, a void or whatever - you are gonna be waiting even longer n then person -using their approval key n their abilith to punch in a few #'s lol- they act as if cashier and customer is the biggest pain for them n they have no problem showing it.

Horrible customer service with the exception of maybe 2 cashiers. The manager is unprofessional. You can't shop there while she's working without hearing her loudly berating her employees throughout the store. Were it not for the convenience of the location and the prices I would never shop there again.

I was really impressed by how large the store was. A nice selection of groceries. The store was very clean and the employees I encountered were friendly. (A nice touch nowadays).

I really was disappointed. Shelves were empty. Carts of items were blocking the aisles. Positive note the cashier was fast and friendly.

This dollar General floors are nasty and dirty like they haven’t been clean for 100 years I see employees on their phones while they’re running the cash register are used to be a dollar general sales associate from my other store in Dollar General they are strict with their policy and how their buildings around on surprise corporate does not know about this building

It's fine. It's just like any other store. The prices are a little high but you can find things here that are random or scarce for good quality.

Need to get more people on registers when it's busy. They also need to clean. And I went there about 15 minutes before they were supposed to close and they already locked the doors.

seems like there is always boxes of inventory in the way, making it hard to get through isles to do shopping. Staff is friendly though and there have been workers trying to restock every time I'm there.

Rude service bums always outside asking for change cause there to lazy to get a job I wouldn't trust this location I would rather drive another 20 mins to the next and plus the cashier or always rude sum thing needs to be changed about this location I like shopping here but after awhile see the same cashier and how rude they are I rather drive to another location.

Absolutely horrible unnecessary long line ,one register open while employee taking talk break,, you would think that since the Family Dollar down the street closed that they would be ready to welcome the added consumer customers,,I have actually went to another store on purpose to come back to see if there were the same customers in line and it would be ,, how sorry is that,,, ??
