The cashier named Dana never said hello or greeted me. I felt like an invisible customer. She was effective in bagging the groceries, told me my total and gave me my receipt. I would like to at least be greeted when I shop and go to a full service check out. The caliber of workers has gone down in this store. Customer service doesn't seem to mean anything anymore.

I went to the service desk when I walked in and dropped money on the floor, not aware I did that. I went on my way. The girl working behind the counter found me shortly after to make sure I got my money back and I was pleased. I don't know her name but it was around 1 pm on Monday. I was so thankful for her taking the time to look for me. She's a great employee. Thank you again.

They don't have a drive up pharmacy, you have to go inside to pick up prescriptions.

Despite what the entitled locals (Canfield people, enough said) would have you believe, this location is on point. Their pharmacy staff are attentive and kind, if a little slow sometimes. I've had no problems being able to receive vaccines at this location. Because of a recent experience there, in fact, we decided to switch our weekly grocery shopping to this location. We shop in the late evening, yet everything is still very clean and well-stocked. Employees are all helpful and kind. I feel a lot more comfortable coming to this location than other area stores. Really, my only complaint would be the pharmacy hours, which don't allow me to switch my prescriptions to this location as well.

Local, usually well stocked although in the last few months selection is not as good.Pharmacy service is great! Accommodates pick up at other locations and at least in Canfield pharmacists are available, willing and able to answer questions. Scripts available for pick-up drive thru or in store within one day or sooner. Highly recommended!.

Store looks very modern and clean. Well stocked too. Great sale prices on the steaks today so I picked up a few. Cashier was nice enough. I wish the Salem location looked this good.

The associates in the different areas of the store are always pleasant enough and knowledgeable about their sections. And they make a good effort to keep the store clean with spray cleaners for the buggies and sanitizing wipes. They have a nice selection of quality products and goods.The pharmacy needs work. I've never seen the surfaces that customers come in contact with wiped down. Some of the associates should be more helpful when there are no other customers to wait on, also not act put out when asked a question. But there are more polite, helpful people in the pharmacy than not.

I'm not a big fan of their produce or prices but Suzzie that has been there for years puts a smile on your face everytime. You can't help but smile. What a pleasure!! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars. Don't get rid of that gem. Even if she wants to retire.

There was a young man working at register 11 and for some reason I had to pay a 28 cent fee on purchase and I didnt have any money with me. He reached in his pocket and paid the 28 cents for me. What a good person! Thank you for you act of kindness.

Store is clean and tidy. Sometimes they have decent sales, but they are very high priced on their goods. Most every cashier I've been through acts like they hate their job. It's kind of disturbing when I have to say "have a nice day" to them and they don't repeat it back (let alone say it first) and they stare at you like you're an alien for even saying anything to them. They will talk amongst themselves before they speak to the customer. They really need to be better trained in the ART of customer service.

Went this morning to order a cake.A Cake!!!!! Means a happy occasion not Funeral!!!The lady in the bakery walked toward the cooler like I am bugging her. I told her what I needed 3 different cakes 🎂 and I need to put names on each one. With an attitude she said I don't think it would fit.I asked her why she was rushing me or if I wS bugging her!! I read body language we all do.Anyway, thank God I end up talking to Jessica she was nice calm and understanding. My start goes to the ugly attitude woman and management to keep this kind attitude behind a happy occasion counter. And 5 stars to Jessica

I've shopped here consistently for many years but have started going elsewhere occasionally. After my visit today, shopping here will only be on a 'required' basis for the reasons below. Do yourself a favor and visit Rullis, Sparkle, and Whitehouse.Restrooms are absolutely filthy.Every time I go in these these days they've dropped products that I consistently shop for and they keep dropping more of our locally produced products.Prices are nearly always higher than local competitors.Produce prices are very high for produce that is usually not very fresh.The store is constantly being rearranged so that I have to search for products I buy.

The store is clean, organized. They try to keep everything stocked up. It is a bit over priced, but I dont mind because the customer service is best we have received. The older woman who mostly handles the self check out always talks with my children. She makes them feel welcomed, whereas most places do not.

While doing self-checkout at 6:30 AM, cashier from three aisles over went out of her way to help me bag my groceries. She kept careful eye on her own workstation while assisting me. I believed she deserved a tip but she refused. I want to recognize Pat F for extraordinary effort and character. Well done!

Good selection, clean, however you have to watch the prices when you check out....several times I've grabbed something because it said it was on sale and then at checkout it charges me full price. Also the self checkouts are a bit of a pain about certain items, I usually try not to use them, but always seems to be busy when I go there and rarely have more than two people at the regular checkouts.

not sure if all giant eagles are like this I don’t come here that much but the self check out is a horrible set up. They make it really hard for a person that’s there by themselves to do the check out if you have a decent amount of things. There’s no one bagging your groceries and they have a stupid belt that you have to put your item on. So the items get smooshed if you’re not bagging in between. Five things happened where I had to have someone come over and help me because it wouldn’t let me keep bringing up my items. That place is so expensive and shouldn’t even have self check out. A huge pain after spending money on overpriced items. I only go there out of convenience and I won’t do it again.

I wouldn't even give them one star. They would let me write a check for groceries because my name didn't match the card I use. I use my granddaughters card to help her with gas points. I feel this is a horrible decision on part of management and will no longer shop at giant eagle any of them.

The worst grocery chain in the area. Each different giant eagle store in the area never has the same things for sale so you end up having to travel to different giant eagle stores to buy certain items. Gigantic shopping hassle and waste of time having to remember which location has the items you need. Each store layout is completely different so you end up walking around in circles trying to find that item only to learn it’s not even at that location when you have to sign in their joke of an online shopping website. Also love to drive there only to find out they are sold out of items on numerous occasions. I avoid shopping here at all costs. If you want to overpay, waste your time and have a miserable shopping experience. Shop giant eagle! Trust me, there’s nothing “super” about this market.

Typically I shop at another grocery store but this one is by my house so it's obviously more convenient. Great customer service and always fresh food. Only complaint would be some of the items are a bit pricey. Otherwise it's a good place to shop and grab food to make dinner.

Store is usually well stocked and clean. Too often than not though there is a large lack of cashiers. The cashiers at the self checkout are usually engaged in other conversation and take quite awhile to assist you.

Wish I could leave ZERO stars, absolutely horrible customer service. My wife purchased some food in the evening to make lunch for our family the following day. When we opened our food the meat had MOLD! LITERALLY GREEN MOLD on the bottom. When she attempt to return they refused because we had tossed out the receipt, even though we used our giant eagle card and they knew we purchased it there the night before.They were nasty and made my wife feel very uncomfortable. They sell expired or perishing food all the time, and it's overpriced. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere (Rulli, Meijer etc) . Employees clearly hate working there and are unkind, rude and unhelpful. Will avoid them like the plague from now on.

I love Giant eagle it does have alot of products that other grocery stores dont have.. I trust buying my meat there.and some of their sales are good.On the downside I find alot of everyday products I need priced higher than the other local grocery stores !!!!!I feel bad for families who have alot of kids t feed!!!
