Very nice place to have your pet groomed . They are very kind and loving to pets. Facility is clean and tidy and smells fresh. The groomer loves the dogs and it shows in his work. I would recommend.

We had to have my dog Puddles stay for 2 nights!!! It was her first time overnight!! All I can say is the team is amazing!!! I called and they didn’t hesitate to give me an update!!!The place is spotless and the staff is very friendly!!! Highly recommend!!!! ♥️♥️

My mastiff is fear aggressive and no kennel was willing or had the capability to take him. They had no issue whatsoever and encouraged me to come tour the facility. Their setup is such that they don't ever have to try to handle or interact directly with him. I feel very comfortable when I leave him there that he will be safe and taken care of.

It was so sad today.....the story is we brought our senior cat (17+) to this place for nail trimming several times in the past because their groomers/staff are so nice so far. On July 20 morning we called for an appointment, but the staff told us to call at noon because their trimming staff won't be there until noon. OK, we called at noon, then was told he was overbooked that no room for us. We have to call on Sunday, July 23 at 9:15am because he will be off on Friday and Saturday. The other groomer is also off until next week. OK, we called this morning July 23 at 9:15am. However, we were told our senior cat is too aggressive and they won't accept any appointment and further the staff advised us to take our girl to veterinarian! Yep, that is the end with this place no matter how best services have ever been provided. My senior girl once bit her dad in this place while he held her for nail trimming in February, never bit others. As such, we ever asked the groomer put a face cover on our girl during last nail trimming in May and trimming went through well. My senior girl never bit anyone as well. Thus, we don't know what the "aggressive" meaning? However, we do thank you very much for the services this place ever offered.

Very pleased with Come Stay and Play! We boarded our pit mixes (9 years old and 1 years old) for the first time ever this past weekend. The staff was highly professional and friendly. Overall, we felt very comfortable leaving our dogs in their care.Prior to boarding, we stopped in randomly to see the kennels and they didn't hesitate to show us around, including the play yard. Kennels were super clean, and each one had a door so the dogs can lay out under their own fenced-in patio (staff open and close it so they can't be out when it's really hot, cold, night, etc).They offer fun extras for the dogs like ice cream sundaes, hikes, etc. We had a groomer trim one of the dog's nails and they did a great job!Again, we're very pleased with Come Stay and Play and how they treated our dogs. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a clean, reliable, and reputable place to board their dogs!

I am very annoyed..while I was out of town I took my dog to the Come Stay and Play kennel in Austintown. He was there for several days and when he was picked up his bedding was very soiled and had to be tossed out. When I called to check on himI got very different reports about my dogs eating and behavior, finally when I picked him up he was sick with Kennel cough and was vomiting for a couple days. I contacted my vet and THEN was told that they had a bad outbreak of kennel cough and alot of local dogs were infected. I have tried to contact the kennel left a message and no one will call me back. I feel horrible thus happened to my fur baby and don't want any one to go have those same issue.

Brought my Pitbull Lab mix here for back to back trips. Although he was very nervous the entire time the first trip, he got more comfortable the second one. To help him eat they would put gravy on his dinner or cook him up a turkey burger which I heard he loved. Don’t hesitate to call them while your dog is boarding because they will happily give you an honest detailed update so you can help brainstorm what will make your pup feel better, and they’ll do it for them! Relieved to know I have a trustworthy place to take Brody when I go on trips!

This place is a absolute joke. Although my puppy was already trimmed..nails cut numerous times and bathed numerous times they only wanted to bath,trim him and do his nail. even though I made an appointment to get his hair cut and waited for a month for this appointment. Absolute BS. They also did not believe my shot record was legit and made me wait outside in the hot sun with my pup while they locked the door to go inside to call my vet. Absolute horrible experience with these jokers. They wanted to bath and trim my pup just to make another appointment in a few weeks to actually cut his hair. Double dipping into the customers pocket for 2 appointments rather than one. So I tell my friend and they also had a bad experience with this place!

There is nothing bad to say about this place!! The staff is awesome and very attentive to your pet. When you call to check in on your fur baby they never rush you and make sure your questions are answered. They make you know for sure that your pet is being well cared for!! The place is so clean too...while planning for our vacation we didn't plan for our dog Abby in a timely manner to stay at come stay and play!! This is where she has gone plenty of times before. We visited a few other places and were just not impressed, hoping that we would get a phone call from come stay and play that there was a cancellation!! The GOOD news we got the call and not only were we relieved and could enjoy our vacation, but our Abby was so happy she could enjoy hers at such an awesome place!! Thanks for making her stay so comfortable for her....it's appreciated!!

I love this place. Its clean, the people are friendly and I like the way they groom my dog. My dog is like my kid. My daughter got married and I needed to kennel him bc it was out of town and had no one to watch him. I was referred to them by a friend and went to see the place before bringing my dog there. They made my son and I feel comfortable about leaving him there and I could call to check up on him. IF I have to ever kennel him again he will def go here. Grooming was very reasonably priced as well and they did a great job on him that I'm actually bringing our puppy there too.

Come and stay pet resort called me the day after I dropped the dogs off wanting me to pick them up because they were having cases of kennel cough and wanted to do a deep cleaning. I told them I was far away and had noone to watch the dogs. They still kenneled my dogs for me and warned me it was possible for them to get kennel cough. One dog did get kennel cough the other did not. Just glad they understood I had noone to take care of the dogs. And warned me that even though dogs were vaccinated for kennel cough that they're are different stains and they could get it.

This place does not even deserve one star. They should be investigated by animal welfare groups for their treatment of animals while in their “care.” My parents dog somehow climbed out of and escaped his kennel. When I picked him up, he was covered in mud, his own urine, and terrified. After examination at home, his k-9 tooth was hanging from his gums, amongst other cuts and scrapes on his body. They have not called us back to speak with us. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

We boarded our dogs Thursday morning through Saturday night. Our one dog has separation anxiety so we give him trazadone when he goes to the kennel. When we went to pick up both dogs today, all three pieces of bedding we brought in, apparently were covered in urine. The girls attempted to wash the beds but it all smelled like urine still. We told her to keep the one and throw it away because the whole thing was throw into the washer when it has foam inserts that aren’t to be washed I’m a washer. And it was sopping wet. No one could tell us what happened in the kennel, why the beds were covered in urine and why our dogs were covered in urine. Also, one of our dogs paws came home bleeding and we didn’t notice it until we got in the house. The whole point of boarding my animals when I leave on a vacation is so I feel at ease and comfortable knowing my dogs will be safe and taken good care of. I have never had my dogs returned to me with all of there beddings ruined and them smelling they rolled in a bowl of urine. Never again

This place is amazing! My puppy Molly is so excited to stay with you guys and I love the entire team. Friendly , kind and have your baby washed by them because our baby has never felt so good from the brushing and bath, worth every penny! Thank you

I have my Dadd dog who has gone to and loved the grommers here.My husband took him today for his usual haircut, knowing he has mats we know that he would be shaved, that's fine.We were told in advance that we needed to update his shots and being proof for his records. My husband gets to come stay & play just before noon, his appointment time. He had forgotten one of his papers the girl at the desk said that they could not take him without the paper. Mind you this dog has come here regularly since he was a puppy. My husband came home got the paper and went back. He was then told that they could now not take our dog because they don't take appointments if you 1/2 hour late. !!!!! The appointment was 12 NOON !! The receptionist said he was late he said he wasnt she said "I dont care about your clock !! Mine says 12:27This is after the they had gone back and forth for how long. HE STILL WASNT PAST THE HALF HOUR !!!!Of course my husband went off on her.Needless to say I would never take any pet there and I know alot of people that go there that I recommended now I have to tell them how terrible we were treated.

Amazing! I have used Come Stay and Play on 2 separate occasions and cannot say enough good about them!The first time I used them, Oodles (10 lb poodle) was with them for a week. He was groomed during that time as well. He was well taken care of and his new doo looked fantastic!The second time I used them, Oodles stayed with them for 28 days! What was suppose to be a 3 day business trip turned into a month. The staff was very understanding and incredibly kind when it came to adjusting pick up dates multiple times. He is comfortable there with the staff as well as being around the other dogs being boarded there as well.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Come Stay and Play! They are amazing.

We are now confirmed fans of Come Stay and Play. Our little 16 year old kitty was treated like the princess she is. Glad we found the place. Now we wouldn't take our little princess anywhere else.7/23/2023 --- After taking our 17+ year old kitty here for nail trimmings for the last two years, we were told this morning that they would no longer accept our business as our granny cat is "too aggressive."So, contrary to my previous post, I am no longer a confirmed fan.

Only use grooming for my 65 lb. Mixed breed dog. Staff professional. Kalea did grooming while my dog wasn't feeling well and always allowed her Xtra time to rest. Rates very reasonable. Only place I will take my pet.

I had to cancel my grooming appointment because I was not going to take my dog to get bathed when the temperature outside is going to be below 10 degrees and there was a winter advisory warning. The person on the phone who took my cancellation felt the need to school me on their groomers working on commission and they would appreciate a 24 hour notice. I called at 11:15am the morning before and my appointment was for 5:00pm the next day. I think that was more than a 24 hour notice and if the weather wasn't going to be bad, I would've kept my appointment. Come & Stay & Play Pet Resort, you just lost a customer. Not only for grooming but boarding and daycare also.

Took my dog to have nails done. She is a rescue dog and very shy around other humans. They did a great job and calmed her down. I wish I would have gotten the name of the girl who was so gentle with my dog. I will definitely be back soon.
