Exactly how on earth is it that a major retailer still cannot take a card payment off of a cell phone, no wonder when I ask where something is it’s the complete opposite corner. You need siding tape while it would be in painting of course. No wonder Menards eat their lunch every day of the week.

This location has great customer service. Jess the manager price matched an item for me. They answer they phone when you call and are prompt getting your product off the shelf and to your car.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Went to the customer service desk to ask if it was possible to set up my military discount there since I was already there and decided to make a fairly large purchase. Was told politely by one young lady she would help me as soon as she was done with another customer. Perfect! Another young lady came up and said she could help and proceeded to tell me how to do it on line. I explained to her I would like to set it up then since I was there ready to make the purchase. She said ok sure and as soon as she said that another lady background belted out we can do that here because they will not allow us to download anything on these computers. The young lady helping me turned to me and said oh I thought you had a personal phone. I simply said I do have a personal phone on me. She looked at me and said in a very snide tone and said please don’t speak to me that way. What? I was not loud, rude, hell I didn’t even use profanity, I was simply confused by what she said. I simply put my military ID back in my wallet and walked away. I wasn’t two steps away and she loudly said YEAH. Thanks for serving those who served Home Depot canal Winchester. I’ll take my business to Lowe’s. Should have been simple as yes we can help here you go or sorry sir we can not.After I posted this I received a nice generic response from Home Depot thanking me. They also included a webform link to help me more. Go figure the link won’t open. What a joke, stick with Menards or Lowe’s.

This Home Depot got 4 stars instead of 5 because of the courtesy of one of the three employees i dealt with. I want to thank Anthony for being the one employee that took the time to be very helpful In search of the item I was looking for. So if you go there look him up and im sure he will help you find what you need without any hesitation.

I am always in and out of this location. Everyone at this store is super helpful and friendly. Great staff and seems to have great leadership behind the scenes.

I went to the Home Depot on gender road . Very polite answer helpful associates . My order was broken , they helped switch it out with no problem . I’d definitely purchase from the location again

You'll wait forever for a tank exchange.Customer service is a rare thing these days.Waited over 15mins for a propane exchange after checking out. I had to call the store to get someone out to help. The person who answered the phones said they would "let someone know."Waited another 10 mins.When I walked in to get the exchange.3 employees at the "customer service" desk were too busy gossiping to help me they directed me to the self check out.They did let me know I have to leave the propane tank outside next time because of its a "bomb hazard"They went back to their gossip son after I ushered myself to the self check out which had the only good employee I interacted with. She rang me up and let me know next time I can leave the tanks at the drop off exchange.I would probably fire all 3 chatty "customer service" desk employees and give the self check out one their wages.Maybe hire someone who can exchange a tank before I could write this review.

Fn hate that place. Was looking for plants only. They don't even take care of those. Refuse to go into the store part of it.If I was dying and God said just go in and spend $1 dollar and you will live. My comment would be GOODBYE CRUEL WORLD !!! ONLY GAVE IT A 1 SO I COULD POST MY THOUGHTS.

Great customer service. John in the appliance dept was very knowledgeable and professional. Phil in customer service did a great job as well , he was friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be back if we need more appliances

Visited this location on Veterans Day to get my VA discount but couldn't get it, I guess you have to register and download their app in order to get it. A lot of older people don't use smartphones and don't want to have to worry about getting an app just to get military discount. I will be shopping strictly at Lowe's they give veterans discount every day of the year

This location I love going to to buy plants. Another home depot in was very disappointed in you could tell they didnt care for the plants at all. Here in Canal i was really impressed after coming here after my last home depot experience. I come out of there with multiple plants instead of maybe one to just save.

Had to get supplies to make cat boxes for the cold weather. I love cats but allergic. But I try to get the money to buy I am on fixed income. Home Depot had what I needed boxes, tape, trash bags & I have fabric material scraps to put in them.

Stopped by Home Depot to buy some lumber. Needed lumber cut. Waited 30 minutes and had asked several times for help. Not a single employee made eye contact with me or came to see if I needed help. As I walked through the store all the employees seemed to busy to interact with either I or the other customer asking for help

Had a much better experience in PA. This location was miserable to move through. Multiple displays in the aisles so you had to wait for others to move. Also, employees were unable and/or would not assist us.

Apparently people walking dogs are more important than us shoppers. Employee got attitude with me for being concerned about 3 dogs walked by 1 lady at once forced me out of isle because I don't want to risk being bitten or even rubbed against when there is no space for them to pass.It's unacceptable and I'll never shop at that store again.

Ordered a double vanity, paid for specific room delivery. The delivery people didn't bring anything to carry the vanity up the steps. They took it back with them marked it as delivered. Home Depot customer support has been zero help. Including making me call the delivery people to try sort out the issue. Would highly recommend using Lowe's or Menards.

I am done with Home Depot. We purchased a toilet in March. When we went to installed the toilet the inside was cracked. Return and purchased a new one. Then a week later we were going to install the new toilet to find no screws in the box, wax seal used and the toilet seat was broke. Return that the lazy employee didn't verify the return. The attitude of the employees are awful. Very unprofessional and complainers. To top all of this the guy Eli at the front desk sent my 70 year old husband to bring a new toilet to the front desk to exchange the toilet seat only. We did purchase the wax seal and screws so we could get it installed. Some other issues since we have been remodeling but too many to list. I was taught not to speak if I had nothing good to say but this store is awful.

Ordered a high end storm door an was told it would take 2 weeks to arrive and would be called when it arrives. That didn't happen. I called in 1 month later and it magically arrived and I was on the call list to be called that day. Ha. Long story short If I didn't call in to see what was going on who knows how long the door would have sat there!! Not happy considering I've spent almost 1,000 with the this home depot in the month of June!

Keisha at the customer service desk is by far the most UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE & IGNORANT “customer service rep” I’ve ever come across. She outright insulted me for no reason while dropping back off a service item I rented. I will never do business at this Home Depot again and corporate is going to hear about this horrible experience!!!

Checking out with my two year old who is over shopping and realize I grabbed 4 of the wrong brackets (as they had been placed in the wrong bin). Four associates were standing around the front of the store as it had been pouring outside and the store was not busy. I kindly asked the four customer service associates if one would mind running to get me the correct size while I finish checking out. All four looked at me like I was crazy so I offered to go get it myself and one associate happily said he would “watch my register” since half of my items were already scanned. I realize most are teenagers but nonetheless, disappointing and made my experience much more cumbersome.

Having ongoing issues with stuff I order being damaged upon arrival. Between the third and fourth re-order, the order was cancelled with no reason given. I called customer service, they said somebody at the store cancelled it. I called the store, and they said it arrived damaged but they couldn't re-order. After having to re-order it, bring the broken product (70 minutes round trip, reorder, repeat, I said "Oh my god, this is ridiculous". They just hung up on me. Not going back except to return more of the broken stuff they keep sending me.

My wife and I went there Monday 4/24/23 to discuss and hopefully purchase some new countertops for our kitchen and appliances. The two people in the Kitchen Remodel section were busy talking to each other and when we tried to get some assistance, they started laughing and belittling us, so we walked out. Guess they weren't doing customer service that night. Oh well, we'll go spend the $3K-$4K elsewhere. Hope you don't work on commission.

Always a good experience at this location. They have a great selection and prices are superior to other stores of this type. The only real downfall is items online listed as in-stock may not be and sometimes when they are, you need an associate to get them from a top shelf. Other than that, this is a great location.

I come here about one a week to pick up 5 gallon water tanks. The employees have always been helpful. Returns are easy to do.
