This Location used to be nice. It has since become one of the worst Dollar Generals ever! The automatic doors don't work anymore and the staff require you to slide them open and close upon entry. The store is always messy and unorganized now. The staff also used to politely greet you when you entered, now they could care less to speak or be polite. It's apparent this location has gone through many changes and not for the better. Will not be returning

This is the worst dollar general ever. They randomly closed during the day when they supposed to be open. I saw some sketchy people walking around inside. It’s Sunday at 1 pm and it’s closed. If I was the general manager asking why they made no money today . There it is! Parking lot always dirty.. store always cluttered. They better off tearing this place down.. the employees don’t want to work either. You can tell. Imagine being an owner and the store just closed randomly throughout the week for no reason . I hate it here

Went in today with my wife to pick up a couple things and when We went to check out there was nobody at the register but two people in line one person even said that there's never nobody at this register so I walked a couple aisles to find somebody who worked there to ask them if anybody was working to register the lady I asked said she was with an attitude so I let her know you have a couple people standing in line at that time there was four people standing in line and when I let her know that there was people online waiting she had an attitude she didn't have a name tag on to complain to corporate she was a mixed lady with glasses and a bad attitude. This Dollar general has went downhill terribly within the past couple years and it seems like they can't get nobody in there to work, now I know why nobody wants to work there it's cuz they have nothing but rude employees working there. Management should teach their employees to treat their customer well instead of being rude to them because all four of us that was in line could have walked straight out of that store and she would have never known it

This place used to be beautiful. Since Christmas its turned into the worst DG Store around. I don't think there is any management at all in the store. One young guy is always working and he is great with customer service but not one person is ever cleaning, stocking or doing anything other than checking folks out. The shelf's are almost completely bare in every isle but boxes and boxes of products are sitting and not being put out. HELP THIS STORE, WE DONT WANT TO LOSE IT.

Rating is more of a 3.7. Staff is very nice and not bothersome. But the store is very messy and there is always boxes and inventory left in the aisles. For as many restock boxes you see in the aisles the shelves aren’t that stocked. They definitely need to hire more staff. The employees that they have currently are amazing and very hard working. But they can only do so much.

I’ve been to this location a handful of times since 2018 and I can safely say, this store needs to be shut down. This isn’t an issue of a few extra boxes out to stock shelves. The store is so unorganized and usually just dirty. Products on the ground. Thrown around. Can never find an employee working. Thankfully the last two times, though I wasn’t happy with the location, the staff were very friendly.

I had headphones in when I walked in and a staff member greeted me and I didn't respond right away because of that. So she said "or not" which I could still hear. The store was trashed inside and out and they didn't have easily accessible isles. Pretty much the norm for dollar generals. And the staff member wouldn't have upset me normally but it was just uncalled for and there's enough going on in the world to not be rude to people.

This was the dirtiest Dollar General I've ever been in. There were piles of shoes in one of the aisles you couldn't go down the aisle with a shopping cart. Most of the shelves were empty because they hadn't taken the time to put the product that were on carts at the end of the Isles up and you could see where people had been picking through the piles forget what they needed.

Every time I come in this store I have to yell throughout the store to find a employee to ring me up. Every time they have come from out the back room. I went the other day yelled out for help again they told me to hold on. Very customer unfriendly store. DG I'm a faithful customer but the workers are ghetto at the Chatterton/ Refugee location.

Found everything I was looming for at great prices. First time I ever shopped DG was in Fayetteville, NC 27 years ago. It has always been one of my favorite little stores!!! Distilled water for $1. Yeah.

The dollar general stores are alright I don't like the ones that are over crowed with items you feel crammed as you walk thru the Isles and if your life me it causes you to miss what it is your looking for due to the lack of order you just want out of there and not all of them are like this, the one refugee rd and brice I try to avoid. They have carts in the doorway as you come in with items they are trying to sell.

The employees are awesome. This location for DG is the best customer service. There is two men that work here and they are very helpful and always have a great attitude. Keep it up guys

No one wearing masks were PPE in the store, consumers, or managers, didn't feel safe, so I left, and headed to Walmart.

No a place i like to shop. There is just too much stuff in isles, too cluttered. This is a place you go to if you just have to pick something up and if don't want to go to grocery or retail store.

Cashier was awesome very friendly and helpful but credit card card machine needs fixed. Update: the credit card machine was fixed and now accept Apple Pay!
