Went there and grabbed my one item I needed. Nobody was checking out customers so I walked around looking for a employee for 10 mins. Couldn't even find one so I put my item back and just left..don't recommend goin there unless you self check out. But do recommend if your looking to steal because employees don't exist in that store it seems

All I can say is that Dollar General has a LOT of issues. I have been a huge fan for many years, but I am just about done going. I don't even think most of the specific issues are the fault of this store, I think it's the company, continuing to build more and more stores that they can't fill with product, get employees to work in, or provide proper training. Today, my experience was much the same as my last few visits (actually to several different stores). The shelves were very bare which is very typical, but I did find a few of the items I was looking for. When I got to the registers, there were no employees in sight, which is also very typical. I tried using the self checkout, which I hate, but more often than not, I am forced to do that, because there are no employees to be found. My first item came up the wrong price, which is also very typical, because they increase prices in the computer, but don't update the shelf prices, because that would require employees to do so. When I did get an employee to tell her it was the wrong price, she was not friendly or helpful and just told me that the price probably did go up but they don't have time to update the shelves. She would not give me the item at the advertised price, nor did she appologize. This is also so typical for dollar general these days. I called customer service when I got home and it said my wait time was about 2 minutes. I waited for about 15 and then requested a call back. I finally got a call back in 40 minutes from a lady in the Philippines who could not speak English.

I like this Dollar General a lot and it absolutely has to do with the associates working there! They are always very helpful and very considerate of people and I have no complaints whatsoever over the multitudes of times I've been there! They seem to always have stocked shelves as well!

employees lack a sense of urgency, wasting time at the register chit chatting and taking their pleasant time while a long line of people stretching into the isles are waiting. i needed allergy meds and it took 15 mins to get out of the place. unacceptable. light a fire under them.

I frequent this store. As many as 4 times a week. Walmart is a 30 minute drive, but Dollar General is only a mile from my house. Parking lot can be a bit aggravating as there is a one way lane and many people do not realize this, but the facility itself is great. There are two public restrooms, male and female. The employees are always attentive, respectful and do not rush you. They carry items from groceries, medications and cleaning products, to animal necessities, car items, household goods. They have an aisle dedicated to products priced at a buck. You can shop for clothes, shoes, makeup, hair care. They carry toys, baby items, holiday decor, birthday decor and have a helium machine for balloons. Basically, the store has a vast array of goods and at great prices, as well as regular sales.

Love this Dollar Store in Canal Fulton. It's clean, organized and shelfs are stocked. Staff is kind and courteous. Started going because Manchester is a filthy dirty store. The shelves are empty because the product is on racks stashed at the end of aisles. It's absolutely a safety issue.

I was having problems finding distilled water I needed for my BiPap breathing machine. Because of the virus scare I could find only one jug. The young lady working the floor and found more for me with in minutes. I only bought 2 gallons so others would be able to have it if they were in my position, medically necessary! All the people who work in this store are so kind and helpful! I prefer this one to the new one the other end of town because of the people.

I really dont want to give this store such a poor review- im giving the corporate a poor score! I love this location the employees are so helpful and friendly,not only to patrons but also to each other. So to corporate- please PLEASE review how much stock your sending to the stores. Really!?... Every isle clogged w stock carts and the girls worken this eve were focused on getting the already overflowing shelves stocked (any purpose on 11' shelves??). I think im done with shopping at dollar general all together. I would rather have the inconvenience of traveling farther to walmart then the anxiety attack of what dollar general stores have become. over crammed, stock cart blocking over 5' of product taken up the whole isle space, clothes crammed so tight you cant even look with out poppen off the hanger. Dollar general i would have given -1* if it wasnt for your emplyees. Please reconsider what your trying to accomplish- loosing customers?... who would all that stock be for then? Please consider lightening the load.

I just came from this store and I have to say this is the nicest, cleanest and well stocked dollar general I've been into, this is my dollar general from now on....good job.....

Typical Dollar General - doesn't really stand out from others, except that the parking lot is beyond bad, which may not be Dollar General's fault, but you as a customer will deal with it regardless.Truly awful parking lot. Spectacularly bad.If the disconnected bits of cement and asphalt were removed and replaced with mud, it would be an improvement.

I went in this store today. I probably haven't been in there for about a year. I was shocked how FILTHY the store is. Everything is a mess. Very disorderly. Too bad..staff was friendly

Had what I was lookin' for. I mean, it is the dollar general. I don't suspect they give the rank of general out lightly. They must have had to earn it somehow. I vote to re elect dollar for general. Long live dollar general.

Men's restroom was filthy. No toilet Paper in the holders but several empty ones in the trash can. Floor was also dirty.

This Dollar General was stocked well, they didn't have the shipment carts full of boxes that haven't been stocked yet. They seem to have it together at this location.

Customers don't wear masks even though it is mandated by the state if Ohio! When I asked the clerk, he said "they just laugh at me and won't listen anyways". I'm calling the health department Monday morning!
