"Unfortunately, my experience at Dollar General has been disappointing. The staff often come across as rude, and I've noticed expired dates on some of the food items. Additionally, there seems to be a lot of gossiping among the staff instead of focusing on their work. The overall lack of friendliness makes the shopping experience less enjoyable. Hoping for improvements in the future."

Two ladies working on this store today 8/29/23 just lack the moral character of being nice to customers/vendors. Delivered merchandise to the store and went in to tell them and also ask to use the restroom. No one was at the registry. I head voices in one aisle and went there to talk to them. The faces made, the body language showed towards me was horrible!! It doesn’t cost a penny to be nice to others you those two ladies. It’s a shame.

I wouldn't recommend this store to someone i dislike I have never been treated worse by a MANAGER whom refused to identify herself or a superior in order to " protect " herself from getting reprimanded as i feel my family was racially profiled and refused to sell me product simply bc it was not on sale and full price i assume she looked at skin tone and assumed i couldn't pay full price , i also looked at the reviews and it seems alot of people if color get treated similarly , i was immediately talked to as if i was below her after being treated poorly and talked to poorly CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT but in krista holman ( store manager ) mindset she's the only one that matters it's her store she can do what she wants and treat people how she wants and people of color poorly serious change needs made to this store

One of the cleanest dollar generals I have ever been in. Very good employees. Polite and great help when needed. Never complain about doing there job . Always see them working not messing around or out smoking . Never see them on there cell phones . ( sorry that is a regular thing in marion)

General Manger there named Krista refused to sell me 4 items that were on sale. She claims corporate is the reason she can not match what it actually says its on sale for. She was yelling and refused to sell them even though we go to this store twice a week for snacks and deals and have never seen this manager. I will never spend my hard earned money with this store again while She still works there.

I agree with the first review the people that work there especially one lady just soooooooo rude!! Just moved close to this place but I’ll drive 5 mins down the road to the other dg the guy there he’s pretty cool the employees are just very rude and give nasty looks horrible place to shop wouldn’t recommend o and no one answers the phones at all which need’s reported to the DM

Store is always clean and organized, it's the best DG in the area. The workers are very nice and helpful and work hard. Only complaint is they could use more help to give them a break from working so hard.

You get 3 stars instead of 5 because of all the alarms on the body wash and stuff. That's annoying. You have really nice employees who stock your store neatly, for the space you have available. Your loss prevention measures made me not even want to look at your selections. I understand, but this is my review, and you get 3 stars.

I was very opposed to Dollar General for some time. After a few reluctant visits over several months I believe they have now won me over. The store is packed with just what you need, they're open a lot of hours and the location is convenient. Never been dissatisfied with my visits. I like the mom and pop stores but understandably they can't compete with this type of chain. I think Dollar General has been good for the community as evidenced by their popularity.

Always some type of sale on something you may not know you need. Their end of season sales are nice Buy One Get 2 Free yes please. Sadly not a place to go if you're in a hurry, normally only 1 person working the register.

This store is nice and clean, they mostly have what you would want in a grocery store, but the store has some rude people working there and I always have trouble asking questions without getting nasty looks and bad attitudes.

Bought a bag of pistachios on a rack for 1.00 I get to the car and realize the receipt says 3.00 so I went back in to see if the cashier could fix it she tried said she didnt remember how all she said was she needed to find the other person on shift like 5 times but yet she stood there looking clueless she also didn't even look for him and she said she couldn't make the transaction yet tried to keep my pistachios. Needless to say I will never be back to this store she could've looked for her coworker.

There were racks everywhere. You almosy couldnt get down some aisles. No employee smiled. The person who checked us out was on her phone. Before and after scanning our items. I wont go back again.

The famous concept the dollar store however things are very disorganizes and in wrong places so you're think you're getting something for a dollar and a rings up to dollars and the cashier doesn't care to listen to your story.. Also in the candy section found many items that were past the expiration date

Love shopping at this location they are very well organized, clean, and the cashiers are always friendly havent been in to this location and had a bad experience one time.

Most Dollar General's are known for not running out of stuff.Not this one. It's not even worth going in to check any more. I just assume they're out of things like individual milks and move on.

Seemed to be out of alot of things and was in there 40 minute and 2 boys stood beside the pop cooler at the end of the food isle and talked the entire time.maybe they could have stocked some shelves.

Always a line because they have one person at register, all day everday. They are always out of receipt paper, super annoying. Store has a huge selection and is clean.
