Absolutely some of the best ice cream I have eaten anywhere ever!!!!! I will stop here always. Every time I pass through, it is that good.I got the buckeye milkshake, my wife, the butter pecan, and my daughter, the strawberry cheesecake.All of us agreed on how good it was. A must try

Good price, good ice cream, cute town. We ordered 3 things and they were all wonderful. Service was quick and polite with lots of outdoor seating.Cookies and Cream sundae with M&Ms and whipped cream. The cookies and cream was a chocolate base instead of vanilla. Not what we expected, but it was still very good! M&Ms were broken into pieces. Whipped cream seemed pretty typical.Cookies and cream sundae with caramel sauce and whipped cream. Caramel sauce was pretty typical.Buckeye milkshake. It tasted just like a liquid Reese's cup! Great way to cool down in this heat and humidity.

Stopped by after we ate dinner nearby and saw a buckeye shake on the menu! I thought that was super cool, and had never seen that before, I thought there was no way it would actually taste like a buckeye but oh my gosh, it really did! Like drinking a liquid buckeye. It was absolutely delicious!!! 11/10 recommend!!!

A bit pricey and I don't think I saw a brownie-type flavor (which is what I was in the mood for) but it was still good. I had the buckeye flavor and in a waffle cone. Tasted more chocolatey than anything else. The cone didn't leak which is good because I was driving and eating it. Overall, I'd stop by again.

I just had a turtle sundae made with butter pecan ice cream. Very few pecans in the ice cream. Not much butter flavored ice cream either. I believe the butter pecan ice cream was maybe the worst I have ever had. Good thing you are the only home made ice cream in Bucyrus.

Stop by for some of the absolute *best*, very high quality, locally-made ice cream you'll find!Constantly adding new flavors, Mark's has branched out to offering their ice cream in local stores, so you can find it out of season. My favorite flavors, by the way, are cookies and cream, and apple pie. Just, wow!By the way, the *texture* of their ice cream is everything ice cream *should* be. Of course it's extremely creamy. There are *no* ice crystals. It's a delight.Also enjoy their shakes.Prices are reasonable, especially for what you're getting.Don't miss their truck, the original Mark's Ice Cream, a fixture at events in Crawford County. Be sure to check them out!Oh, accessibility is a non-issue, and they have a drive-through for lake travelers, although the left turn back out onto Sandusky Avenue might be a bear. Time it between traffic lights, and enjoy, or even better, pull in, park, and relax under a shady umbrella while you enjoy your treat. 🙂

Mark's Homemade catered the ice cream at my wedding a few weeks ago and it was the best! The guests really loved having this delicious ice cream, but the employees at Mark's were extremely communicative throughout the whole planning process and were very timely the day of the wedding. Mark's Homemade even has pre-served cups of ice cream that come with spoons which were perfect for a large wedding. Thank you to Mark and the team for making our wedding that much more special!

Delicious homemade ice cream centrally located in quaint downtown Bucyrus. I love the toasted butter pecan ice cream, but they even have a flavor called Cow Tracks. It has everything in it except the kitchen sink.

Figured we would try it out... building says "Best ice cream you'll ever have" or something like that. It's not.My wife got a peanut butter ice cream cone and it didn't have much flavor. I ordered the Buckeye ice cream... I was thinking it might have Buckeye candy in it but it was plain chocolate ice cream. Everywhere else it is vanilla with Buckeye candy and peanut butter but none of that here. Lots of MUCH better ice cream stands around.You would think on a hot summer day this place would be packed but now I know why it wasn't. 😦😦😦Don't need to waste my time or money coming back.

Drive thru ~ 2 small vanilla cones and 1 brownie type sundae.The wait was beyond "long", even when we got to the window. It really affects the over all experience.Ice cream and cones were very good.Service was friendly- again tho' extremely late.

So-so I would say. Started out very good ice cream at beginning of summer. But not VERY INCONSISTENT now. Big lumps of sugar in it. Not mixed well? Last couple visits it’s been very disappointing.

So glad they have a ice cream shop now. They're the best! The story of how this ice cream started says so much about what a great community and family oriented town Bucyrus is. Loved following the red ice cream trucks, but its even better they have a permanent spot. A must try!

They refused to make me a chocolate peanut butter shake. Telling me after I ordered and paid. they don’t make that and refusing to make me and new shake saying “we already made me a shake” this is extremely frustrating as I never have vanilla ice cream. I am happy to change this review to a 5 star as mark showed up as I was there when it was closing and was happy to remake my shake to a buckeye. Thank you mark and a sincere apologize.
