This was my first time at this Goodwill and I visited twice in one day!! Lots of great things to look thru and treasures to find. The lady at the counter was super friendly and helpful. I'm ranking this as one of my favorites and will definitely be back!

That store is absolutely a joke ! I would love to know where their pricing comes from. You can go buy 95% of the items brand new at other stores for cheaper. What happened to the days when you could go buy things cheap ?

Nice new store, too bad they try to rob you blind. Many used items, appliances are priced near new. That's not what Goodwill is for. They have lost their way. It's supposed to be good used items for young folks setting up their first apartment or folks who just can't afford new. Come on, get real. Hunting boots with mud on them and they are priced at $100.00.

The newer items seem overpriced I can't afford I like the gently used items. Hopefully they give way to more affordable items:) always a pleasure buying from goodwill "thrift store" to help those in need at affordable prices.

Nice, clean new store. The staff are very friendly. They also reliably have the best price in the region for propane refills (yes Propane refills at Goodwill!) They also offer recertification for the larger cylinders! So convenient and and great prices. If you have a grill, smoker, RV this is your source for Propane!

They have a lot of new merchandise and the used items they had were priced high. A 6 muffin tin for $4.99.... used. The store looked nice, was organized and clean.Update: May 2022 We went in just to look around again, and we saw some outdoor chairs that looked really nice and they were heavy duty. Price $10.00 each! My husband started looking at them and they were all broken! The break was in an inconspicuous spot. We told the manager and she told us that yes they were broken and she knew they were. Very disappointing.

This place is a joke. Prices are astronomical and in now way helpful to those in need. They have more "new" products and very little selection of household items. No one offers assistance. Not shopping there again.

This is very much a consignment shop and not a Goodwill. It's next to buckeye lake which means everything is way more expensive than it has any right to be. If you're looking for a thrift store just go to Goodwill unlimited

It’s not a normal goodwill, it’s a very expensive thrift store with a more expensive than usual tackle shop inside that sells brand new fishing gear. The clothing area is a bit of an afterthought. I’m not totally sure what’s going on with this place, something’s a little off about the whole operation, it’s like a wolf in sheeps clothing. Doesn’t seem to fit the typical goodwill model.

Well, they tore down the 'old' Goodwill store and replaced it with a huge brand new building. Grand Opening was July 31, 2021. So, I decided to avoid the opening rush at 8:30 AM and popped in at 3 in the afternoon. Boy, what a disappointment. Almost no clothing on the racks, lots of overpriced fishing tackle,expensive gas grills, and weird camping items. I'm not sure why they bothered. Prices were WAY too high to be considered a thrift store. Here is a perfect example: A used black Carhartt jacket was $99.99. LOL Seriously, a used jacket for 100 dollars!! I am never stepping foot in here again. It won't be open for long if you don't price your items better!

This is a large store with reasonably good selection. Their prices are higher than most other thrift stores. However, between various discounts and watchIng the colored labels for reductions, it is possible to find bargains galore. I make sure and hit this store several times a month. The store is clean and the people are helpful. I recommend shopping here, but carefully. Some things are not a bargain, particularly the new items.

This is still a good will and it's a good place to shop but the stories you're a big a lot of items so many that it can wear you out traveling that store. The people working there or kind but not always going to be as they should be it still I'm not going there at times. Did you think you watch their prices especially on the new items that are donated to them from stores you get it cheaper someplace else.

It's nothing like the first one. That one had the things we needed and could use. Now we have a mini version of gander mountain full of hunting and camping gear and massive amounts of military style furnitures and products. And the prices are outrageous. But without a Walmart that's what we were given and from a serious us goodwill shopper,like an everyday goodwill shopper, I've been to the new Goodwill at the lake store 2 times and have bought nothing. Whoever decided to fill it with the military/hunting gear, it's clear what you think of the people in The Village of Buckeye Lake. And I can't leave out the furniture made out of life sized Lincoln logs. I'm talking bed frames, dressers, chairs, night stands & end tables, lamp stands & ohh yes even coffee tables. I can't speak for any others but I found it very offensive & very judgemental. They totally judged wrong. They can't keep employees & they don't look like they even want to be there. The grand opening had prizes for the first 100 customers & on the 3rd day of the grand opening I do believe they reached that count. Not positive. But go back to a thrift store. Or open another store that deals with only hinting / fishing and military. And another thing, we already had a bait/tackle- then they opened one beside Goodwill, now we got 3 of the same businesses. Thanks goodwill industries.

Nice employees and lots of stuff to rifle thru! A bargain hunters dream. The stuff seems to move quickly at this location so if you see it, grab it up, because it's almost never there next time I make it over.

Supposed to be cheap place to buy items you normally can't. But items that are 100 new are 80 instead. Scratch and dent items that was donated for free to this establishment. And would be marked down cheaper at actual retail store they originated because of damage or missing components. Seems to me management at this store are more interested in making as much money as possible instead of helping the less fortunate. Seems more like badwill than goodwill. To put into perspective, these used items were donated to sell to people who cannot afford retail. They should be marked as yard sale prices. Not 10% off retail. Hope this helps

Was so excited to see the new place....and I'm HEARTBROKEN . this is not a thrift store in my opinion. 70% is NEW MERCH OR OPEN BOX NEW MERCH !!!!! The used hard goods are WAY OVERPRICED. I miss Buckeye lake's old dirty smelly goodwill.....THAT AT LEAST WAS A THRIFT STORE !!!!!!

This place is very expensive for the quality of the goods that they have. There are much better thrift stores for the price like Saint Vincent's. what really pisses me off is that there will be a Walmart clearance item sticker on something and Goodwill want twice of what the clearance price was. the place is relatively clean today L over there than instances where the place was very disorganized. They no longer have a public bathroom. The dressing rooms were locked because of theft problems and you have to ask the clerk to open it for you. This place is only worth shopping when they have discounted items on their color tag days. I try not to shop here because Goodwill corporate is a big stinking rip off.

I went to goodwill today looking for capris and tops the sizes were mixed up and somewhat mixed the men's and women's.And once again an altercationIn the parking lot with there customers. Police and medics were called. This was not the first altercation that this goodwill has had.

Often find unique items at this location I believe because of the expensive housing around the lake. Great staff.
