Today I got my 11mo beardie, Mario, from reptile encounter! Kim was amazing! The store is very clean, all of the animals enclosures were clean and all of the animals looked healthy and happy, with a great selection of live feeders!!! As someone who does not shop with the chain pet stores I was very impressed and happy to find this hidden gem, and I will be returning! Great prices & smiling faces,Also got 10% off on my enclosure! 10/10 recommend!!!!

amazing prices and the staff was super friendly! the store was super clean and the enclosures were so well put together. they have everything from tarantulas to turtles, and an awesome feeder section! i'll be sure to come back to get some tree frogs!

Would absolutely come here again.Firstly the store is beautiful and reminds me almost of a high end boutique. It’s clean and crisp and has some beautiful work done from someone local who helps design pieces for enclosures.The owner is such a sweet lady and took time to talk with my boyfriend and I about what we were interested in and getting a feel for us as pet owners which I appreciate. I learned she used to work as a vet tech for over 12 years so she is now doing this out of passion. Her number one priority was that the animals were going to a good home.We left with 3 tarantulas that were amazingly priced and well cared for. The enclosures were big enough and you could tell they were fed well and that she knew what she was doing. We got to keep the enclosures as well which were all pretty nice.I’ll update photos as we rearrange the enclosures a little more to our personal style.Absolutely recommend.

Saw this AMAZING store online a few days ago and thought I’d decide to check it out. Everything was EXCELLENT when I visited the store from the customer service to the products they carry to the wonderful and beautiful reptiles they had as well which are all placed in very nice looking terrariums. I bought 4 White Dumpy baby tree frogs from them and I couldn’t have asked for a more better group of frogs, I absolutely love them!!! 10/10 RECOMMEND THIS STORE!!!!!!!!!!

My 1st time here and it was absolutely beautiful inside, best customer service ever! The lady who owns it was so very sweet and helpful. They have the cheapest/the best prices out of all reptile stores in the area. Definitely will be back & I recommend this place to anyone with reptiles. Best experience.

We got Luigi from there about 6 weeks ago. He is such a sweet Bearded Dragon. I will definitely be buying my accessories and bugs from them to feed him. We are also considering getting another reptile from there.Betty

We got the newest member of our family, Nibby, from Kim two weeks ago. I don’t have much to compare the store to because it was our first and only choice based on the reviews, and I’m happy to add my review as another super happy customer. Kim suggested the perfect bearded dragon for our family and gave us all the information we needed to make sure Nibby had a smooth transition. Cant recommend enough!

As someone who has been in the hobby for almost a decade now this is a really really promising new store!! They have a lovely little shop that isn't the old, disheveled reptile store that used to be so common. it feels more like being in a mom and pop petco that is only reptiles and actually treats their animals well!!Their cages are actually a really great size and I think with a little more time in their building they have real potential to make an exceptional place for the animals to reside for the time they are there! They are mostly going for the clean paper towel substrate which I dig and maintain really well from the looks of it, but I would encourage them to move some of their long term residents to bioactive for their health and the ease of maintenance!!The only possible downside I see is their selection of species, they mainly focus on lizards like leopard geckos and beardies which isn't inherently a bad thing but is still something to be aware of for potential customers. I talked to the owner and she explained they were going for the more "tame" aspect of the hobby which I think is totally fine because it'll just get more people into the animal hobby when it's not giant spooky snake or lizards (which is what i love in the hobby) and it's just cute little guys!! I would encourage them to expand into more animals like KSBs, BPs, hognoses, AFT Geckos, and stuff like that where they aren't intimidating or super difficult to care for.In summary I really like this new shop and I think it has the potential to get a specific niche in the hobby more into the cleveland area and be a gathering place for Keepers and others in the hobby because I believe they do events too 👀👀(I promise I'm not paid I j went in on black Friday and was really impressed with the place !!)

I checked this place out on my way home to PA and absolutely loved it. Not only is the owner very friendly but it also has a very clean, cute aesthetic to it! Would definitely recommend and most likely will stop again!

Had the honor of visiting when not even a month old. Animals are well cared for and sociable, selection of feeders and supplies are perfect. Staff was courteous and attentive. If you're looking for a first-time experience with reptiles, this is your place to go; if you need to restock or get supplies, still a very good option. The only keepers that shouldn't consider this place a priority are those who keep niche species, though this place will still serve as a great supply-point for those keeps all the same.I hope to see them stick around, and I'm eager to see what they grow into.

This store had some nice animals and decent pricing on certain stuff. Frozen mice were kinda expensive. The thing that turned me off of this store was when I overheard a conversation between a father and son and a young employee. Father and son did their research on proper leopard gecko care. (40 gallon breeder minimum and absolutely NO sand) But then the employee said that a 10 gallon tank with sand as a substitute would be fine. Of course they listened to the kid and trusted him. Now that poor leopard gecko WILL die.

Kimi was so sweet, knowledgeable and accommodating! You can really tell that she has a passion for working with these animals and provides them with the care, cleanliness and attention they deserve. Extremely heartwarming to not only meet someone whose standards for animal care meet or exceed my own, but to speak with someone that cares for each animal as an individual and who is willing to take the time to adequately educate both new and experienced pet owners alike. Looking forward to my next trip!

I will definitely be coming here for my future needs. This place is very well kept. The retiles look healthy and the habitats are very clean. I bought a crested gecko, everyone was very patient and knowledgeable. I left with everything I needed. You can tell that the owners put their heart into it. Highly recommend!

A FANTASTIC and IMMACULATE reptile store!!!! TONS of different types dry goods and enclosures as well as HEALTHY ANIMALS in CLEAN ENCLOSURES. I will be shopping at this store exclusively for all my regular reptile needs. Finally we have a reptile store that not only has a good variety, but it doesn't look like it was thrown together.

Stopped in on their grand opening and it was an awesome experience! The owners and employees were eager to help and show us around. They have alot to offer in the reptile category, both live and supplies! Cost is pretty good compared to others as well!

This is the perfect place to go if you want to get nice decor for decently affordable prices! Very nice, clean store with friendly staff and looots of adult beardies and geckos. Would absolutely go there again.

Ran into a young guy and girl handing out cards and advertising this shop at a local reptile show today. My friend tried to ask a couple questions to the guy and he was pretty condescending. As we were leaving he was being pretty rude to an older couple too. If this is the stores PR guy I'm not interested in checking them out.
