I have had my baby Pteara sat here five times now. The staff are a gaggle of the sweetest folk you have ever met. They fawn and coo over the birds (as one should). Pteara is so enamored of them that she doesn't even squirm, let alone bite, when she has her nails trimmed. I see others with larger, more advanced birds than mine, keeping their loved ones in-house for weeks at-a-time. Top quality toys, perches, accessories, and food abound.If you keep birds or are looking to, this is your place!

Staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and helped me pick the right bird for our family. They're birds are all hand raised. The sun conure we eneded up buying has been so sweet and friendly. We absolutely adore her.They have open grooming events often as well as boarding. Lots of food and toys selection

Every kind of bird you can imagine. All the accessories for bird cages. They sell every type of bird cage you can imagine as well. Food supplies purchase place stands natural wood purchase all different sizes fantastic selection of everything you'll ever need for your pet bird. Great staff with lots of knowledge very friendly. They hand raise all of their own birds.

Wow! What a great place, the staff was so friendly and helpful in talking to our daughter about parakeets and how to take care of them. it was really eye opening how this place operates compared to a chain pet store. I cannot recommend this place enough!

i just recently took home my white capped pionus from them, and he's the sweetest bird ever. i did. come to visit him often before he came home, but i believe the staff also helped in making him so friendly and open to new people :) he's so sweet and loves everyone he meets, his price was reasonable, he was raised on a good pellet diet, and the staff provided me with all the information i needed! overall very happy with my whole experience and i will be back often.

Have loved this shop for years! Had previously purchased an Indian Ringneck. Most recently purchased a Meyers Parrot and a White Capped Pionus. They are such adorable and friendly babies! We appreciate everyone at the store! Charlie and Buddy will be well taken care of!

I can’t be happier with the experience I had today, I went in looking for a conure but left with my dream bird! An Indian ring neck, he is amazing and very friendly you can tell they care so much and give their birds the best care. I will be back for all my bird needs, and maybe even another in the future!

So I went into do more research about birds bc I have always wanted to own a macaw but like African grey like all of them and yes I know it's about there up raising that gets them to talk and all the other fun stuff and how devoted you have to be. It's a major commitment and I get it. But this staff member gave me the worst attitude. I asked which bird is more talkie going into a two part question and she crosses her arms and gives me attitude that not to get a bird bc of talk and that be like getting a toddler bc u want them to be a astronaut and I stand back keep cool and she goes on about rights and wrongs with her arm cross I interrupted her and said I get that but and she cut me off I just stop ur not even listening to me . I figured bad day for her but still let people explain or learn how to communicate better being in retail for anything is hard enough but know people may not say the right way for you to understand what they want to know. It seem like a good place to go but after that I'll do more research and figure it out from there.

The birds themselves and supplies are kinda overpriced, but I guess that's better than not knowing where your bird is from or accidentally buying from a bad place.I got my Quaker Parrot there two years ago for a little more than I should have paid but it's alright, at least she was DNA tested and banded.Aside from being pricey, it's a great place for any bird lover to just hang out in and see the pets, and it provides a pretty good variety of toys (even parts for DIY!) Staff are great, friendly and warm, and you can tell that they really care about the wellbeing of their babies. Plus, it's the only exclusively bird-oriented place around.

Excellent. Love all the variety of beautiful birds. Absolutely awesome toys and perches for birds of all sizes. My parakeets love to play with the toys I purchased. I will be back to purchase new toys for them. Great selection of items to make your own homemade toys. I will be shopping at In a pickle parrot shop as often as I can. Staff was friendly and helpful. What a wonderful bird shop.I took my conure in for beak/nail trim and they were fast. 10 minutes in and out but we hung around a bit more to enjoy all the beautiful birds!

They are very healpful. My grandmas bird died (senigal parrot) and we needed to get her a new one. The prices were great we ended up buying a quacker parrot and the lady helped me with the pros and cons of different birds. It's very clean. Over all great store!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THE PLACE IS INFESTED WITH BORNAVIRUS!!!!I spent over $600 on a black capped conure all to end up with another sick bird. When I approached Paul the owner he mentioned many different things. Said he gets all babies he sells tested then said he tested the parents too. All to then say he doesn’t test the parents when I arrived at the store seeking to enact my health guarantee. He doubted the report too that diagnosed her saying my avian vet was not the best and offered to have me take her to Northview Animal Hospital as if that would change the diagnoses when they had processed the results and generated a report sent directly by a reputable laboratory.Ultimately, we decided to return the conure. Paul did return almost all my money with the exception of the sales tax I paid on her. After going back and forth (calls and visits) I was never given the tax I paid for her.Be careful! I would get the baby tested for bornavirus if you still decide to buy here. The disease attacks the digestive system of the bird, is extremely contagious and makes your bird waste away until the only option is euthanasia or a painful and slow death. Its spread through droppings and direct bird contact. Clearly they do not clean properly the cages the babies are put in. The babies are not tested and they must be doing something shady with paperwork for them to want you to go to Northview and not accept the results run by an actual lab.

I have never been to a bird store that cares for their birds like In A Pickle Parrot Shop. They have a wide variety of birds plus just about every kind of toy available. We purhased our son conure there. If you are looking for a bird this is the place to go
