I had never been here, and my daughter was visiting, so we wanted to check it out. They have a nice candy selection. There is a large variety of baked goods available. They have a nice gift shop. An ice cream parlor is in an adjacent room on the first floor. The second floor appears to be set up for parties or special events. There are a few coin-operated children's rides. They also have a decent selection of stuffed animals that are filled on site. This is an ambitious business for such a small town. It is worth a visit.

I've been around the world and never seen a candy shop like this one. It's packed full of the most unique and well known candies alike. The ice cream parlor was delicious and the toy story, build a stuffed animal and rides up stairs were so fun.

Friendly staff, amazing desserts and treats. So many unique gifts and items to shop for. The 2nd floor has a build a bear station and rides for kids. Parking can be limited but there is street parking also.

This was an amazing place. It has every candy you could ever dream off plus all the baked goodies; cakes, cupcakes, pies, apple dumplings, cookies, eclairs, edible cookie dough, and so so much more. It also has toys and trinkets that you can purchase for yourself or a gift. A kid will go crazy in here. They also have a seasonal ice cream parlor. Everything we purchased and tasted was absolutely delicious. The staff are extremely helpful and patient. Will go back every time we are near.

Fun selection of sweet treats and neat trendy stuff. Line was sooo long and we found something else we wanted after I had already stood for a while. Skipped that item bc there was only 1 register. The bakery part would be better if they did a number tab pull. That would definitely keep people from jumping the line (I had to step in to say 'no I've been standing here'). Which can be just awkward and discouraging. Pepperoni rolls were good. Bakery items were good as well.

My fiancé and found the little town of St. Clairsville, OH on a little weekend getaway about 6 months ago and fell in love with the town. I have always had an obsession with real down home bakeries. After some searching online, I came across "The Fat Apple Bakery". It was only 30 minutes away, so we decided to go. Parking is very limited and a little confusing if your not familiar with the area like us. There are two different floors. The 2nd floor is a play room and is also where they have their own little make a stuffed animal set up like a little "build a bear". We plan to go back and make one soon. The first floor is the actual bakery. When you first walk in its a little overwhelming with just how much candy and goodies there are. But that soon turns to joy with the great atmosphere and friendly staff. They have almost everything labeled as to what it is,which makes it extremely nice with such a huge selection. It was awesome to see a lot of candies from my childhood and they had the more modern candies as well. They had a wide selection of gourmet chocolate apples, breads, pepperoni rolls, cupcakes, cannolis, cheesecakes, gourmet topped brownies, all different kinds of cakes and pies (by the slice or the whole thing). We purchased a dozen cupcakes, hot pepper cheese pepperoni rolls( being from WV we have both had several different pepperoni rolls over the years, these we definitely in the top 5), a butterfinger chocolate covered apple, and 2 cannolis ( I have never had an authentic cannoli, but these were delicious. Crispy shell and delicious rich filling). We will definitely be going back next time we're near the area. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. There is literally something for everyone.

I buy my daughter pepperoni rolls at this bakery. She loves them. Service is excellent. Just a great place to visit. They sell many of the difficult to find old-fashioned candies also. Very enjoyable experience.Parking: Adequate parking.

WOW! What a neat find, this is a Willy Wonka kind of place. Definitely worth a stop just to look around even if you don't buy something. Only downfall is the limited hours.Hopefully their business will increase so that they add additional hours.

I so enjoyed this fun place. As we were just passing through on our way back to Youngstown Ohio, we first spotted the billboard advertising the store 300’ away. Having a huge sweet tooth I had to stop. Being unfamiliar to the area it took us a second to find a place to park. Walking in we were pleasantly surprised by the quaint and fun atmosphere! The player piano playing Christmas carols made it so much fun. Then the candy, chocolates, and sweets made it over the top! The service was friendly and knowledgeable! The kiffles were the best! I can’t wait to go back and try it again. The only thing I wish they had was wide, thin ribbon candy. They had the easy to find regular thin ribbon candy only.

So much to choose from! And everyone was so incredibly friendly. The cheesecake brownies are out of this world 😋 and the apples are definitely fat 🍎 highly recommend

**Edited ** Our last several visits have been disappointing and the quality has definitely gone down. Everything for the past few months has been stale or dry and we've been mostly displeased but keep trying hoping its a fluke. We got my daughters birthday cake from the case of roll cakes and she felt bad for telling me but she didnt like it. The candy selection is wonderful but I'd probably pass on the baked goods next time.First time here and first impression upon walking in is WOAH ! Lol I couldn't believe how big it was! It was a candy wonderland and I can't wait to bring it kids in. They will love it. We ordered two cheesecake topped brownies. One was turtle(caramel and pecan) and the other was peanut butter. A bit pricey but it's a quality product and well worth it. I'm looking forward to trying the cupcakes next time because they looked very tasty.

An adults candy shop! As well as kids.. they have any sweet treat you can imagine. Some from my childhood and current ones. Every sort of cake, cookie, chocolate etc. Amazing little shop definitely stop in.. they also make sweets for events and don't disappoint. Highly recommend. All the staff was very nice as well and it all actually tasted good.

The workers were extremely nice, friendly & patient with the customers. We spent over $80 there & it was worth every penny!! Their prices are very reasonable so you know we left with a lot! The pepperoni rolls are one of the I have had! If you've never been there, I suggest you make it a point to stop by...you'll be glad you did!!

For several months everytime we have gone past this store we wanted to check it out. Finally we did, and it was an amazing experience. Parking was a bit difficult because there isn't much of it, but don't let that be a reason not to go there. From the outside it looked small, but inside it goes and goes. Upstairs is full of toys, plushies,etc. Downstairs is a sweets lover's paradise, and bakery. They have every kind of retro candy you can imagine, and the bakery has a great selection of goods. We'll definitely be revisiting!
