The employees are actually knowledgeable most of the time and they always know where everything is and are very helpful.I have never had trouble finding what I need and the prices are very affordable. I spoke with two employees and both were friendly and helpful. I got help from a young associate who didn't know anything more about my quest than I did. And you know what? That's ok. We spent a short time reading labels and he noticed something relevant on a certain product label I had overlooked. Problem solved, item purchased and happy customer.

I would be willing to drive 45 minutes out of my way to shop here. Main Street Ace Hardware always has the items I need, the staff will help you find what is needed every time. The staff will help you get what you need for a project so you dont have to drive back and forth all afternoon trying to get it right.

I love shopping at ACE Hardware!The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and very friendly! They sell a little bit of everything here - I usually shop their homewares. Prices are competitive and if they don't have it in stock, they can special-order items from their website.And I love the candy - it makes me feel like I'm in an old-fashioned General Store!

So a few fresh faces are manning the check outs. Experienced associates still walk the well stocked isles that we know is Bowling Green Ace Hardware.

Some neighbor used my snow shovel during the last heavy snow that we had , here in Bowling Green. When I saw it later in the day, it was missing the handle--broken off at the top of the wooden part of the snow shovel. Well, I finally got to Ace hardware. And, yes, they had two plastic "D" handles that fit the wooden longer handle of the snow shovel, on hand. The "D" handle cost $11.99 plus tax==$12.80! It is now for sale for, "let's say $15.00". It has the metal blade that gets the snow up from the concrete better, and down deeper than those plastic blade snow shovels. Make an offer!!

People go way out of their way to help you here. If they don't have what you need, they are willing to order it. The prices are great. Highly recommend this as a great place to shop (and ask for advice for diy home fix-it jobs).

One of several business' owned by the Kraft family of Bowling Green. This hardware store is a throw-back to the days when customer service and satisfaction was the absolute first priority for companies. The people working at the BG ACE are welcoming, friendly, and will eager to help. It is a rare thing to ask about any obscure need that the folks here don't know the aisle to look for it in.What is more, shopping here is fun. The store layout twists and turns through the ancient building and leaves you smiling. Poking through the racks of merchandise is enjoyable and even relaxing. You get ideas of things to do just looking through things.Also, there are always sales and clearance racks. Most any warm day of the year there are carts and tables outside to draw you into the store. More than a few times I've picked-up handy items for pennies just by coming through the store.The ACE also has creations by store employees, made from hardware in the store itself. These items include Steam Punk style lights, chess boards and other artistic creations and it is worth passing through just to see those alone.Prices are entirely fair. You might save a few cents going to a national chain but you won't enjoy service or feel satisfied as you will coming here. The bottom line is that this is a well run and fun place to shop, and the people there deserve your business.

The people at Ace are always there to help with out being overbearing. Every time I'm in there I feel like they some how used a shrink Ray on one of the larger chain stores because they seem to have just as much as they do. I haven't figured out how they do it yet but when I'm there I always walk back to the tool section just to make sure they haven't stocked any shrink Ray guns.

Previously I've received nice customer service at this location. Today I went to have a key copy made, as I have several times before for my pet sitting business. Today the elderly worker behind the counter looked at my key and blatantly said "I ain't cutting it." Thanks for the unintelligent reply and unnecessary rudeness. He wouldn't cut it because it says do not copy on the back. I explained my business and how I've had no problem making key copies before for my clients at this location. The man rolled his eyes at me and didn't respond, just stared at me. I walked out and will have to take my regular business elsewhere.

Got a blank key fob off Amazon and no one would cut it. Came here very helpful guy cut but said he couldn't guranteed it so it was free. Key works fine
