The staff is professional, and they work with you. Anna, is the groomer I deal with and does a great job. I highly recommend her. My dog is a wigglely worm, but Anna was able to handle him and give him a cut. My customer experience with Gold Star has been great. Thank you for taking good care of my pup.

Bella is an anxious pup and loves her groomer , Ashley, she goes right up to her every time no hesitation since the first grooming, I know she's in good hands and the staff take care of her.

At Gold Star, Benson enjoyed many good times at the daycare where he had many friends and learned good behaviour. Ellie groomed him beautifully. When boarded, my husband and I had piece of mind knowing he was in a clean environment and well taken care of. We unexpectedly had to board our dogs. We found Gold Star, and fortunately, they had space. It's always a little scary to just drop off your pet babies someplace, but we read other people's reviews, and frankly, we were in a bind, so we decided to chance it. The place was very clean, the people were very friendly, and the dogs were very healthy when we picked them up. I should also mention that the price for the 3 of them was good. All in all, we are extremely happy with them, and they are definitely now on our list of places we can send our babies. FYI, we are very picky. Our list only has 2 names on it!

Absolutely the most loving second home for fur babies! Love the building and play areas! Love the staff! Very safe and clean. Air ventilation makes all the difference for the fur babies!! Highly recommend!

Our dogs go to Gold Star for grooming. They are happy to go there, no anxiety or resistance like they did at previous groomers. They do a great job and they look great when we get them back!

Very friendly group of people. Was able to get my dog in quickly. They include 4 potty breaks a day in their base price. My dog loves it there and we will definitely be using their services going forward!

Very well maintained pet care facility with super compassionate staff. They offer boarding services with or without individualized play times, grooming services for dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. They even have daycare services on site with pond swimming and rental in the summer!! I definitely feel safe leaving my fur babies in their care and the groomers do fantastic work also and I especially love the fur coloring services offered. Would definitely recommend it to any dog owner who wants their pet treated like family. This place rocks!!

I thought I had already left a review, apparently I thought wrong.I took my pupper to Gold Star for several years (4 years, I think?) whenever I would go on a trip. It all started when my regular boarder was full one time and I had an out of town business trip to attend to. After using them the first time, Gold Star became my go to boarder. The owners are amazing, and the staff are awesome.My dog, unfortunately, passed away this past weekend, while being boarded, due to complications from a health issue I was not aware of. Being out of town when all this was happening was certainly not ideal, but the owner took care of my dog like it was her own, and did everything she could for him. Definitely above and beyond!Gold Star gets an A+ from me, and I would certainly trust them with any doggo I have in the future!

There are a lot of places to choose from but if you want someplace to rely on and know your beloved pet in in good hands, this is the place. i can't say enough good things about Gold Star Pet Resort.

Gold Star is top notch! Our puppy has been taking obedience classes at their facility with great results. We are so pleased with the knowledge and experience that Marcy has to offer. The facility is clean and well-kept. So sorry to hear about the one-star review, but unvaccinated dogs have no business being around the precious pets at the facility. The primary concern of this business is the health and safety of your pets, and for that we are grateful! Highly recommend Gold Star for all your pet needs!

Took my 2 pups too this facility for a week while me and my family went out of state for vacation, and couldn't be more happier with the end result. Pups got a nice grooming and treated extremely well and cared for....the people there we're extremely friendly. All for the right price.Thanks again for looking after my furbabies

I love that you can rent out the pond for your pets privately. I have one dog who isn’t the most stranger dog friendly and it’s hard to take her new places without the worry and anxiety. They went and we had a wonderful time. The pups are tired today and that’s a good thing! I can’t wait to go back. Very happy!

My dog is very shy and nervous. Every time we drop her off for boarding she walks right in and is ready to go. You can tell she has a good experience because she is not even slightly hesitant. The groomers here are the only ones who can clip her nails without her shaking and yelping and trying to bite.

This is a repeat. We boarded 6 dogs at Gold Star again this year. They take good care of the dogs and we feel very confident leaving them at Gold Star. They do require they are up to date on vacs, which makes us feel good that all will be up to date. We have never had the first problem with Gold Star and have recommended it to anyone having to board their pets. All the dogs came home happy. They also do not seem to mind a phone call every few days, just to check on them. Thank you Gold Star.

I haven't used the place, yet! We visited and took a tour today. The place was super clean! The owner gave us the tour. She was very informative! Pups looked well cared for even though I didn't see any of them out of their cage. No one was out playing or taking a walk. Mind you, it was very cold today with a sharp wind.

Jan 2019, We recently boarded our family of 7 dogs at Gold Star again. Another good experience. Anytime anyone asks where we board our dogs, I say Gold Star near Bowling Green. They are the best and don't mind getting calls to see how they are doing. They require all vacs for the dogs, which is good. Also, if any need any meds or anything they would take care of it. Thank you again Gold Star.

I've taken my cats and dogs to Gold Star Pet Resort for many years and appreciate their high standards of health and cleanliness (my dog smells fresher coming out than going in!). The staff members are excellent and not only do a good job of caring for basic needs, but also provide for special needs of the animals, providing gentle care for aging dogs, for example. They take the time to know your pet as an individual.
