The staff at the pharmacy are phenomenal especially Mango and John - they have both helped me so much with prescriptions. Which is why I rate this 4 stars it would have been 5 stars if not for what happened today. There was a woman working in pharmacy we hadn’t seen before - she was yelling at a hard of hearing elderly customer and asking him not to raise his voice at her despite his issues with hearing. She also asked if I needed all my prescriptions tonight (only one was ready), when the answer to that question was yes she said they closed in an hour. We simply said okay and didn’t give a hassle, ready to go on with our one med, when she turned to a coworker and said ‘can you fill five scripts in an hour? no we cant.’ Unprompted and unnecessarily unpleasant.

What is with the cashiers here refusing to check you out? Me and my friend stood at the counter for 2 minutes, while the lady just had her back to us. And then she very rudely turned around, acted like we were bothering her, and said “you know there’s a self check out over there.” There was about 3 of us in line and she sent us all to the self check out. Took all of my morals not to just steal my items and walk out! This has happened to me multiple times here.

Was in a couple days ago to pick up a prescription my Dr sent over. The lady talking to me was overall very rude. She first denied that a prescription was even sent over for me. I told her “my doctor just called me and told me to come here and pick it up because she just got off the phone with someone here” the lady then said, “do you even know what they’re trying to prescribe you?” And I said yes and told her the details (though that was super unnecessary) she said “your prescription is not accurate and we won’t fill it until we get a new one” so if that was the case why did she tell me there was no prescription under my name? I plan to call my doctor again on Monday, as they were closed when this interaction happened, explain the situation and ask them to send the prescription to a better pharmacy. Save your time and your heartache and go somewhere else.Update: I called my doctor today (Monday 6/5) and had them send the prescription to Kroger instead. Kroger accepted the prescription without and changes to the scrip or hoops to jump through (unlike cvs) and they informed me it will be ready for pickup tomorrow! Highly recommend Kroger, they were awesome and friendly.

We had to change pharmacies. The CVS storefront staff have always been kind and helpful, but the Pharmacy is absolutely terrible (and I try not to leave negative reviews unless I think it'll help other people avoid similar issues). It's been over a year since this happened so I can't speak to current conditions, but from other reviews I see on here, I think it's probably still happening. CVS in BG actually lost my husband's really important medications and then blamed it on USPS when it was at their store the entire time. My husband's health was in serious risk and I asked the pharmacist what she planned to do to make sure things like that didn't happen again (I was livid because I had visited there three plus times and been on the phone for hours between USPS and CVS and our doctor trying to figure this all out), and her answer was that "she couldn't control the mailman." ...even though the bag of my husband's meds were sitting right there on their floor for over a week. It takes A LOT to make me angry, but the CVS pharmacist had no difficulty.

Went to ER in severe pain at 9am. They sent script immediately to cvs for pain meds. 9hrs later still not filled. They closed at 6pm and I have no pain meds. Taking my business to Walgreens.

Not friendly staff. Things can never be filled on time or by the times they say. I hate that my insurance goes threw them .2/10 recommended

Wish I could put a negative review, Very rude. And not helpful at all. Went to get a prescription filled and tried doing over the phone and said we couldn’t. As soon as we got there we were told it wouldn’t be ready till morning. We drove 6 hours from Michigan because the hospital wouldn’t call it in for us. It was meds we needed for someone who just had surgery and was no help. They told us “go somewhere that is open later” we went to rite aid instead and they were very helpful! Highly recommend not going to CVS. No help and VERY rude right from the beginning.

Pharmacist blatantly lied about being able to issue me a replacement Covid card. Seems like they just didn't want to bother terrible service. If you got your vaccine through CVS even in another state they are able to pull your records and issue you another card. Go to another location to get it

Sometimes my legal name change causes issues with filling prescriptions or insurance coverage. Sometimes medical providers feel obligated to deadname me until I can show them the court orders. I've never had those issues here. John has been particularly helpful at smoothing out miscommunications caused by providers who still use my deadname.

I have never written a review, but I'm beyond annoyed. I live in BG, but I will use any other CVS when I'm able to because the customer service I've received at this pharmacy for the past few years has always been rude. They make me feel like a burden, and it's a negative experience, every time. Just waiting on an antibiotic that was called in a day before. I called to see when it would be ready. I waited on hold for about 20 min. Then they asked me how soon I needed it, and I told them ASAP. It's an antibiotic. I'm sick. I do not feel well, and the provider I saw sent it in last night. It's 2 p the following day. They told me you'll get a text when it's ready then hung up on me. I know they must be slammed, and they are clearly short staffed, as is everyone else in the healthcare industry. But, this is not the way to treat patients, consumers. The last thing sick people want to feel is worse than they already do. But this pharmacy continues to deliver the most negative vibe... Without fail. Please stop treating sick people like garbage. Or go work somewhere else less stressful so your negative attitude doesn't have to be shared.

I've tried to get my Covid booster from this location twice this month, with both appointments being cancelled by CVS for no reason. I just got a text saying my appointment for 2 HOURS FROM NOW is cancelled, though it's been scheduled for weeks. No heads up at all and no care taken on behalf of the customer. When I called, I was literally told to schedule multiple appointments at multiple pharmacies to see which ones don't get cancelled. Really? This CVS clearly has no customer service skills.

I went recently to buy Claritin-D, they scanned my ID and the cashier made a mistake and the register shut down. Because it can be used for dangerous activities you can’t buy more than 1 pack in a specific period of time. Since they already scanned my ID I couldn’t get it for 2 weeks because the cashier messed up the register. I understood, but the pharmacists yelled at the cashier in front of me and belittled her. Bad management, bad training, and bad customer service.

Pharmacy staff is rude. We have to use this pharmacy based on insurance, if I could switch I would. The pharmacy staff I know is busy but EVERYTIME I call or go there(which is not that often) they are so rude and have an attitude.

My wife is a cancer patient and we are traveling out of our local area and a prescription was called in at 11 am to alleviate symptoms from her radiation treatments. 5 hours later and sitting in their parking lot they still haven’t started it. Terrible. Just terrible. Then they treat you like you’re the inconvenience. Awful. Just awful. You have lost our business for CVS .

Recently bought stuff here for the first time. I had a cooler bag to keep all my stuff in. I'm not homeless but people pry thought I was lolol anyways the lady there helped me get stuff & helped me sign up for a CVS rewards account thing and it was very helpful and easy. 10/10

If there were less than 1 Star rating I’d give it. The pharmacy received scripts (needed for current day) before 1:00pm. They filled said scrips (needed for the current day) at 7:55pm and texted the notification to come pick them up. Now being a normal human I know they close at 8:00 so I called and said I’d be there in 5-6 mins and they said there was nothing they could do. The only option is to drive 45-50 minutes to Toledo to get the medicine (again needed for the current day). What a bunch of slack off losers and pharmaceutical professionals working there. Now someone I love has to suffer because of their entire pharmaceutical staff at CVS in Bowling Green, Ohio. Unbelievable. Heartless. Unprofessional.

I was in the drive-thru picking up medicine and when the guy sent the clipboard to sign he didn’t put the pencil on the clipboard very well and i went to grab it from the tube and the pencil fell out. I was too close to the tube to open my door and get it but the guy got really upset when I told him it was physically impossible for me to get it and he was arguing with me and ended it with “whatever dude”. I even offered to give him a pen from my car and he didn’t want it. I’ve worked in customer service before, I get it, but this is ridiculous. I will be calling the store manager tomorrow.

Very poorly ran with unprofessional, and super unfriendly staff, especially when you’re trying to pick up a prescription from the pharmacy. Was told to use another pharmacy after I complained about a prescription that they told me on Friday would be ready in an hour didn’t end up being ready until the next Tuesday night. Try not to go to the BG CVS!! Save your time!

I would not even give this pharmacy a 1! I have gone to other pharmacies before and have NEVER had the issues that I have with this one. They take it upon themselves to call my doctors and ask for refills for different medications when I have never authorized this. I have literally asked them to stop contacting my doctors and stop auto filling any prescription of mine over 10 times in the last 6 months. My husband has told them as well. The last time I was in there, I asked them about it again and told them I have taken everything off of auto refill and to stop contacting my doctor. I got a generic answer of "well our automated system messes up sometimes". Today I was told "we contacted your doctor about a refill of Meloxicam and they said you need an appointment." I said that I never authorized for that and I do not need Meloxicam" She said "oh. Well I was told to talk to yoi about it". Really? This is maddening! They literally call my phone every other day. The only reason I go here now is because our insurance gives us better rates on medications. I am pretty sure I'm just changing pharmacies and paying more for my medications. I am also not the only one with these types of problems. Everytime I go in there, someone is having an issue of some sort that the pharmacy either cant explain or help them with. Rediculous. I would not recommend anyone going here. We have way to many other great pharmacies in BG!

I explained to them my struggle with the Falcon Health Center. The technician kept apologizing even though it wasn't even their company's fault. They said they'd try to get it transferred that Monday. The very next day (Sunday), I got a text from CVS informing me that they got the medicine from the health center and it was ready for pickup.

We know the prescription for blood pressure was transmitted at 4:48. We arrived at 7:48 on the same day. The prescription *still* had not been filled yet, and, even though we arrived before the pharmacy closing time, they still would not fill it because they "didn't have time". We were told we would have to come back another day. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional!

This location has incorrectly filled my prescriptions more than once, including mixing my meds with other random pills which I found at the bottom of my pill bottle. I called them and they said they didn't care and to call corporate.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Disappointing customer service and a blatant failure to carry out the duties of pharmaceutical staff seem to be the norm at this pharmacy. Do not go to CVS for needed medication or any expectation of professional communication.

The pharmacist & pharmacy techs will leave you feeling like a monster, an idiot, or both. If you have any issue with your prescriptions they will make you feel like it’s all your fault and you’re a bad person for it.

Needed to drop off my Amazon return. I had it all boxed up and the return label printed. Manager wouldn’t even let me borrow the tape she had to attach my return label. She treated me as if I was asking for a ridiculous request and looked at me as if I were a nuisance to her. Next time she needs a favor from someone, I hope she remembers how she treated me.

A grown woman behind the register was not wearing her mask, it was hanging loosely around her neck doing absolutely nothing. You literally have people coming in to your establishment for covid tests and yet you do nothing to make your customers feel safe inside? Incredibly unprofessional and embarrassing.

ZERO STARS Technician hung up on me mid phone conversation when I called to check the status of a prescription on my lunch break. My aunt has worked as a pharmacy technician at another CVS for over ten years and was appalled at the lack of customer service at this location. Contacted CVS corporate less than 5 minutes after being hung up on by the female pharmacy technician.

very disappointing. I went to fill my prescription Thursday morning, and they told me It would be ready within the day, it’s now Tuesday morning, and it’s finally ready. The pharmacists I’ve spoken to there each time are very rude. It’s a shame I have to find another place to fill my prescription because it’s so close to my house.

Terrible service and still having issues with prescriptions that no one seems to care about. There is a particular person that works at the pharmacy that acts like she’s inconvenienced by every customer that comes in.
