Their prices are jacked up in Bolivar ohio. I see 2 dollar less on a lot of their stuff at other stores produce goes bad fast. I recommend going elsewhere. Nothing to do with staff. They r nice. It's corprate greed. I live in this town feel like I'm being taken advantage of. Get your prices down.

Usually has everything I need. Good looking produce department. Overall store is middle of the road priced. Not as cheap as SaveaLot in Uhrichsville but not as expensive as Buehlers in New Philadelphia.

They had a good variety of meats at a really good price. My only problem was that yesterday I had a $4 digital coupon on my app for razors that left the final price to $1.99 after the $1 off sale price and the mgr wouldn't honor it.

It is conveniently located. It is an older store, a bit smaller than other GE stores. When I shopped around 3 pm, the meat display was sparse. The sale on roasts was nice, actually, that is the reason I shopped there... but, I took the last few roasts. The staff could be a bit friendlier.When I was at the meat department an employee came out to look at the meat case but never spoke or asked if he could help me. With such a small selection, it would have been nice, and customer friendly.

I love that we have this option in Bolivar. Only wish curbside pickup was available at this location, would use this location so much more for convenience when short on time, but still love the small town vibe. The produce and meat selections are always of high standards as well. Service is always super friendly!

- Mildly overpriced- Items on sale are often out of stock- Cashiers can be a hit or miss, but currently there are a lot of great people up frontThis Giant Eagle has a lot of potential as there are quite a few great people working there... however, the lack of competition in Bolivar doesn't seem to result in a good prices for consumers.

They're a nice store. I do like the sea food selection and isle of Asian and Mexican cuisine. I believe they have better quality food than wal mart. Also with the store perks I do save a little money. That's another beef I have with wal mart,if I gotta do self check out , I should get a discount. Giant Eagle is closer to where I live so it's more convenient.

This little grocery surprises me over and over again with all the speciality foods they have! Small Town grocery, big town selection! The one true downer is that for the last year the deli counter closes before you get off work and can get in there! 3pm sucks if your a busy family and can't there before then.

This Giant Eagle has friendly cashiers and stock personnel. I would have given this place a 3 stars during the brink of covid because they were super rude and disrespectful. The manager was unprofessional and was like that with more than just me but other people I knew. But I see he's not there now and was replaced with a nicer manager. The shelves are always organized and filled. I get my families prescriptions filled here too and always have a good experience.

It's a grocery store not much if any different from other businesses. The thing I didn't care for was that myself and one other customer was wearing a mask. All the employees were wearing a mask. There were say twenty more people not wearing masks and giving dirty looks to us that were. I don't think I'll be back until this virus thing is over. You do what is comfortable for you.

This giant eagle is the only grocery store relatively close to where I live. Lately, I’ve been rather disappointed with the selection they have to choose from. Normally, they don’t carry quite as much as other giant eagles, but now it’s like they either can’t get product or they’re selling out constantly. A lot of empty shelves throughout the entire store. If you go, be willing to be flexible on your shopping list.

They are doing a great job of making the store look like you may want to shop there. At least the freezers have been replaced. The produce coolers are original from when it was an IGA back in the 60's or 70's. Most of the rotting smell is gone. Everyone I know uses the Dover store or other local grocery stores for the big shopping trip and use the Bolivar store to grab a couple things. I almost said quick, it's rarely quick. Out of the 5 registers there is one open and the line goes to the back of the store.Maybe if they build a nice store like the Strip or Green, more locals would actually grocery shop here.

This giant eagle is great if you are looking go waste time and buy expired items. Never before have i seen so much bad produce and mold merchandise in my life! Nothing is organized in a way that makes sense, it always seems that they put one item that would go with another one on the complete other side of the store

Although this is more of a compact supermarket, it offers a terrific selection of products. There's no shortage of items and the staff is quite friendly. The personable feel really adds to the atmosphere, too. From toiletries to groceries and everything in between, this store truly has it all.

This store is OK, but I know of better stores. There seems to be a lot of customer questions at checkout. It holds up the line. The 12 or less Express lane is usually Closed. The Ground Beef is not very lean, even at the 94 percent lean type and is quite expensive compared to a meat market.

Love the fish in the deli. Went in to get some...no fish. The lady working the deli asked what I wanted ,I said the fish. She said we're not serving it today but I'd be happy to make you some if you have time to wait. Great service.

I do my weekly shopping here because the area where I live, in Canton South, has no grocery storeworth even considering for doing weekly shopping. This store, in Bolivar. isn't as large as some stores but still seems to carry the things I amlooking for. The employees are friendly and are there to help if I should need it. Why isn't there a store in Canton South instead of making us drive out of town to find a nice, well shocked store, that is fit to shop in with brand names that aren't coming from Europe.

This store rewarded their employee of 8 years by pressing felony charges against her for eating a few slices of ham during her shift. How much food is thrown out each day there? I can't wait until this location goes out of business, what a greedy disgusting company.

They are charging an employee who has given 8 years to them with a FELONY THEFT charge over a few slices of deli meat. That is absolutely ridiculous and is reflective of the way they view their employees. I can't believe this company would be so childishly petty and vindictive, especially to an 8 year employee! Think of all the value she has produced for your company in those 8 years. And now you want to squeeze more out of her for this?! I know for certain that Giant Eagle will never see another dollar from me, as well as the many people already outraged by this company's behavior.

A great location for me, it's local and the vibe there is local. Very friendly employees, seldom too busy. Very pricey compared to competitors. About one year ago, the Butcher there once told me that he does not observe the difference between the legal terms "Ground Beef", "Ground Round" , "Ground Sirloin" and so-on. Ahhhh I was really really shocked! I made certain that he knew these are all legal USDA terminologies that much be followed. He pretty much blew me off. He seemed like a nice guy and someone that cared about his job. The encounter kinda left me confused.

Who fires a deli employee for taking 3-5 slices of ham or salami a day? Management at this store is clearly out of hand.Firing an employee who has been with you for eight years for something like this, and then turning them over to authorities to boot?At the grocery store I frequent there are baskets of fruit that are free for hungry kids so parents can shop in peace. That’s the kind of store ownership I look for, and hopefully you will too. Shop elsewhere.

Fired and pressed charges that ended up as a felony on a deli employee of 8 years for eating 3-5 slices of ham a day for the duration of their employment. Loss prevention probably feels like they are hot stuff for this. Might just apply for the CIA or FBI after this incredible bust. I think firing the person would have sufficed, but you guys decided to ruin their life instead!

My family goes here weekly. We are very concerned how long this store will be open. I have went there the last two evening in the 6 o'clock hour and the deli is already closed down... The stock boy told me that don't have enough employee's. I know that our society is lazy and dosent want to work. All in all we like shopping there .
