Delicious hard dip ice cream! The cyclones are pretty good too - even a small is quite large. Milkshakes are a nice thick consistency, but the chocolate is not my favourite.There’s a nice swing and lots of covered seating. There used to be a water dispenser, but it is no longer there. The chalkboard has also been taken down, and the games on the tables are no more (checkers, tic tac toe, etc).

I highly recommend this place. Great, friendly people, food was great. Ice cream was perfect. Good prices and well proportioned servings. Will definitely stop again.

Went for the first time today. Wow. Best coney dog I've had in a long time. They toast the hot dog bun!, cook the dog on the grill, the coney sauce is amazing, real cheese... I had nothing bad to say. I also got the fried mushrooms, and they were top-notch! Will for sure be going back soon.

We had some food here and loved it! I had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, and the wife had a Buffalo wrap. Best part was the sweet potato fries with marshmallow fluff. Yum! 😋

We absolutely love stopping here! The ice cream selection is great, service is friendly and fast. Plenty of shady spots to sit and enjoy your treat. 10/10

My husband and i frequently travel for fun and for my ohio travel blog.After a VERY long wait the Hot dog was ok, grilled cheese was ok. Chicken tenders had salt poured over the like French fries and just tasted like salt. Ice cream was ok except my so called chocolate dipped cone that looked like slightly brown wax and tasted like wax. The girl at the window gave it too me very crooked and it started falling off the cone before I could get back in line to get a cup so it had to go in the trash or fall on their payment for other customers to step on so it got thrown away. We won't be back.

The fried pickles are the Bomb! Love their fish sandwich when it's plain with nothing on it but they can't seem to understand what plain means. They overload it with way too much tarter sauce and the bun becomes soggy! This is why I want it plain. The tarter sauce taste like cheap coleslaw dressing .

I understand it’s early in the season, but the Bluffton Dari Freeze lost me for the year. I would rather drive to neighboring community. Than to spend money here again. I hope they can find a way to improve their quality.They provided second rate food, the ice cream is more like milk shakes, the food was over cooked on the outside and under cooked on the inside. They left requested condiments off our sandwiches. The portion sizes were half what we had received in the past and the prices went up.

Some of the best soft serve I’ve ever had. I don’t know what they do or how they do it but whatever it is, it’s good. They have quite a selection of food and ice cream snacks. Something for everyone. Good service, wait time isn’t real bad unless they are swamped. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is they are a bit pricey, at least I think they are. If you’re in Bluffton and you have a few minutes, stop in and see them. Good folks, good food, nice town.

Other than they always oversalt the fries (as in at least 4 times what is needed), and the pulled chicken sandwich being dry and not nearly as good as it used to be, great little place. Always fast service, and amazing ice cream.

Friendly help and delicious sundaes. Soft ice cream was good in chocolate and vanilla. We tried peanut butter, marshmallow, and hot fudge toppings. Tried the hard chocolate topping on a sundae but not a personal favorite.

Best breaded mushrooms by far!! Pizza burger taste great but was plain not pizza sauce, mushrooms, onions, nothing. Pricing was typical for small town dairy bar a little high but not terrible. I'd be interested to try other menu items.

This little ice cream stand has been there since I was a kid, and I the food is just the same as I remember it. I ordered a Texas Tenderloin and peanut butter milkshake. The prices were very good, but the taste was out of this world. Please don't change a thing.

Love this place because they have my favorite - frozen bananas!! The chicken sandwich is also amazing. I am not an ice cream eater myself, but everyone I've ever give with ADORES the ice cream. Keep it up!

I ordered a turtle sundae. The choc ice cream didn't have much flavor to it...hmmm...where'd the choc go?? They did load up my sundae tho with plenty of toppings. The counter girls were very friendly and the service was quick. :)

We usually come here, my husband , myself and our 7 young children. Which is a 30 minute drive. Because it’s the small town ice cream shop my husband went to as a child. Today while visiting we were happy and chipper from visiting the park. Decided to order our usual and was met with an angry elder lady at the window. Who decided to stick her head out , wave her hand in my husbands face and yell. . All because he said he wanted our tenderloins to be plain with only ketchup. Apparently that set her off into a frenzy because they weren’t “technically plain”. Needless to say we won’t be coming back.

I didn't think it was possible to say this, but their cookie dough cyclones almost have too much cookie dough. None of that toppings on top but not through the cup nonsense here! A little expensive but portions and taste are worth it!

I love coming to the Dairy Freeze because they have very good ice cream and food selections to choose from. The Mac and Cheese bites are one of my favorite things to get. I really recommend trying this small little Dari Freeze. The food is delicious:)

The soft served ice cream is the best I have had in my lift. It is so creamy and the taste is fabulous. I would recommend this place to all. I live in Cairo and we will drive to Bluffton just to get their ice cream.

Just had a hamburger for the first time,it was tasty and juicy. The beef patty was square. Kids got foot long hotdogs, they were happy. Pb/chocolate shake was on point. Thoroughly blended, good balance of chocolate and peanut butter.

Coney dog I got yesterday was nasty! Dry burger meat on top.onions cut huge. Yea probably won't try those again. My grandbabies loved the ice cream

not good at all. I ate there Sunday May 2, 2021. I ordered a tenderloin sandwich and deep fried mushrooms. First off they are still using tenderloins from AtoZ meats, which as everyone knows is mostly breading with very little actual meat. Secondly there shrooms were ice cold! Also the bread used for my sandwich was not at all fresh, all crumbly and smashed. Too bad the owner doesnt hire responsible adults instead of children to make my food. Next time I fell like a tenderloin and shrooms I will drive to Happy Daze in Lima. I wont be back and I always tell my friends and family about places like this and to avoid them. btw gave 1 star because zero star is not an option!

Reese's peanut butter Cyclone! I recommend it! Very good. They were very busy but had plenty of help to get orders out fast and correctly.
