Nice lady, but her house is nasty! There's no way it's sanitary!! II debated leaving them there at all but I thought I would give her a chance. 'm pretty sure my girls got a bath but there's no way she even got their heads wet. She let me know that one of their nails got clipped too short (which I understand happens) but my girl bled like a murder victim the entire way home and I'm still trying to get it to stop. Yes, I know how to deal with this kind of thing, I have owned dogs for my whole life. The more I look at the cut on my doodle, the more I can tell, she's definitely not used to cutting this type of dog, or she just isn't good at it. There is missed and chunky spots all over her. Let's just say I should NOT have tipped and will NOT be going back!

Dottie's Dog House is always able to work us in quickly and Becky provides the best service for our pup. We have a corgi that sheds terribly and I'm allergic. Since taking him to Becky for deshed treatments, my allergies have been much better. She is so kind and always friendly. She is also careful about when dogs pass one another in her services. She once had two large dogs waiting on their owner when I brought my small dog. She made sure I knew about the situation and was comfortable before dropping him off. She's very good at grooming pets and considerate of owners. Also, she has the best prices in Columbus. We've tried groomers all over the area and her prices are the most affordable.

We recommend Dotties Dog House. My two Labradoodles love Becky. They do not like to go to the groomer however when they see Becky they are very excited. I love the consistency of their grooming - my dog looks the same after every grooming and she trims their faces and body as requested. I like picking up a doodle rather than a poodle (no offense to poodles)!! Becky is very good about communicating any issue she sees with their care and provides suggestions on things that I can do at home for them (like combs/brushes that work well for their hair type). Each time they are groomed they come home with a cute tie or bow (I have a boy and a girl) relevant to the season.

I am more than happy to highly recommend Dottie's Dog House as a dog groomer! I own a Golden Retriever with a wiry double-coat. I have been looking for a groomer who can effectively groom my Winnie, and I have not had any luck...until I found Dottie's. First of all, Rebecca is incredibly kind and welcoming! Winnie was very nervous when she got to her home, but Rebecca quickly made her feel comfortable after I left. I cannot express how much of mess my dog's coat was before she was groomed. Her coat was dirty, matted, and gross (she had recently spent a week in boarding while we were on vacation.)Rebecca is very responsive to texts and phone calls. In fact, when I first called her to schedule an appointment, she called me back while I was leaving a message on her voicemail!Rebecca listened to my concerns and requests without judging while we talked on the phone the first time.Winnie came home better than I could have imagined!!! She is an English Cream Golden Retriever, and she was actually cream again! I could immediately tell that she felt better! In two hours, Rebecca worked magic!Finally, the price quoted to me when I called was the price that was charged which I really appreciated especially since I am SURE my pup was a big job. When I picked up Winnie, Rebecca even gave us a gift bag with some toys and items for dogs!To say that I was happy with her service is an understatement. I am so thankful to have found a groomer that understands what it takes to groom a Golden.

Typically Dotties dog house did a great job, I enjoyed the picture updates after each session and the price was very reasonable however at the last appointment I took my girl to I picked her up like everything was normal and got home and realized once she rolled over with her belly up she was bleeding quite a bit and when I cleaned it and looked closer she had a chunk of skin missing. She’s never been cut like this by a groomer, I like to think that in all the years she’s gone to get hair cuts she acted just fine for them. I was quite upset when I saw it and even now that I have to watch it all week and make sure it doesn’t get infected. I honestly just wish the groomer would have told me that she cut her so I could have been move careful with putting her in the car, and letting her walk all over the carpets…. If the groomer would have just been honest about the mistake my feelings would be different but instead when I picked her up the groomer acted as though everything was fine when it wasn’t.We won’t be back.

I was looking for a new groomer for my guys, Shadow and Jet. They usually just went to Petsmart, but I wanted something more personal due to having a special needs dog with seizures and both of them are definitely not fans of getting their nails done. I Google'd dog groomers by me and found Dotties was about 5 minutes from where I live. The whole process was seamless and easy. Excellent and fast response when booking. Easy communication. Very professional and polite. I would definitely recommend them to anyone on the east side in need of a groomer and plan on taking my guys there again in the future. They look and smell great and even got their very much needed nails trimmed.

My boy has a lot of fur so the deshed treatment makes a massive difference for when he starts blowing his winter coat. He always comes home feeling so silky and smelling so good. Prices can't be beat!
