I'll be honest. I used to avoid this location like the plague. It was a dirty, poorly managed, disorganized hot mess. However, over the past few months they have hired a new manager and had a remodel. Both have been for the better at this location. Shopping areas are clean, well stocked and well organized. They offer enough of a variety of frozen, refrigerated, and shelf goods at a decent price to be great for those "in-between" grocery trips when you just need a few things. Most of the staff I have encountered had been friendly and helpful. The only issue I can think of is that with all the improvements, there has been an increase in customer flow, causing a back up at check-out. Nothing too bad, but having another cashier close by would be nice during peak hours.

I live in Columbus, Ohio. My mother lives in Gallipolis. We went to this location where she was supposed to get 9 items. $100 later we leave. The cashier was very patient and good natured. I miss my hometown and establishments that are relaxed. Great place

Super friendly staff!!! I love this particular location. The only thing I can see that needs changed is their old time doors out front so it's easier to get carts out and in. Update 2 Automatic in 1000 doors please

The store itself is nice. They have decent prices and even offer a $1 isle which is my favorite! This isle has so much to chose from and to think it's only $1?! My complaint concerning this store is the staff and general manager. The store manger isn't very friendly and is horrible at her job. She doesn't change. The signs when supposed to do So leading to you paying a different price than expected. The General Ma ever isn't any better. They are completely unprofessional and don't put the customers satisfaction into perspevie.

The dollar general on rt 160 in bidwell ohio has everything you need and unlike Walmart, has not only enough staff, but very friendly and helpful. From redbox, ice and grills to food, meds and electronics. Their prices are better than Walmart, easier to shop and only thing they don't have is beer..which the korner store stores got you covered..

Cashier let very rude customer cut to front of line when my wife was placing her items on counter to checkout and didnt do or say anything to that rude customer and then didnt even apologize to my wife or even ask my wife it that was ok to do! Customer service there sucks!

Easy access to the basic necessities, has food for if I want to make dinner but you don't have an ingredient, and it's easy on your wallet.

Maybe because its a smaller town store there is a lot of items to choose from but the store is a bit crowded and hard to navigate. The staff is really friendly.

Decent prices, convenient, but crowded around school opening and dismissal and around the first of the month. Both cash registers should be open at these times.

The manager here is so rude as always. She hate’s shopper that use coupons. I always shop in Dollar General and this location has the worst manager ever. I try to use coupon to save a little bit of money and she always turn down my coupons.

We were surprised on how well kept thus one was. Usually dollar generals are messy no recovery or facing but this one was different
