Nice size establishment not too large but large enough to supply the people of Beverly with an abundance of quality grocery items at a reasonable price. The staff id very friendly and helpful. Quick to any any questions or concerns. Very clean and a vast selection of meats, fresh produce, excellent deli and a fully stocked frozen section. Would recommend to anyone needing grocery items that don't want to travel to Marietta

Prices are high,never seem to have baked goods, staff is friendly and efficient. Local residents don’t have to travel too far and they usually have what I need. More fresh baked goods would get me in the door more often.

This is my hometown grocery store, I love it here. They make you feel welcome and have great home cooked meals in the deli every day. Very friendly place!!💛

It's a very clean store and everybody's so polite. They will even carry your groceries out if you ask. They have a very good variety of foods for the size of the store. Prices are a little higher than other stores but this is a small town store so it's understandable. They have a hot deli but I haven't completely checked it out yet but it looks really good. Produce and fruit selections are excellent.

It's on the main drag in Beverly so it's easy to get to. Plenty of parking. The store sells name brands, has a hot/cold deli and their prices are average when compared to other stores.My only issue: They close too early on Sundays.

Love their Bakery in homemade rolls and donuts! Sometimes I will drive the half hour just to get that stuff plus there produce and everything is always fresh although their prices are quite a bit higher than other places also my husband likes to wander into the hardware store while I'm grocery shopping LOL

Sponey's is a good solid little rural grocery store with some specialty items not found in every grocery store. Need pretty much anything for making your own sausage? They probably have it, from Morton Tender Quick to 813 curing salt (pink salt in some recipes, Prague powder in others), casings from breakfast to bologna, and premixed spices and seasonings galore. They have a good little bakery, and they actively try to stock quality foods that aren't just cheap but are also good and nutritious.

After searching all around our town and couldn't find anywhere that had ducks that didn't have to order them and wait two days sponeys came through and had some in the freezer.

They have the best meat department in the area. High quality at great prices. When I lived there I would go in and buy their meat with same sell by dates, and they would agree to negotiate very fair discounts. They also have some local options. Also, just friendly people to deal with, whether you need boxes to move, certain food options, etc.

For a small town grocery store, Sponey's carries a lot of different items, they have a cold and hot deli so you can get your lunchmeat and a dinner to go. I love their doughnuts. The meat department actually has meat cutters that are friendly and helpful. All staff are friendly and helpful, they will also help you to take groceries to your car and load it for you. All and all, I think I will give them a B+

Great prices on meat, and customer service is a blast from the past. The baggers take your groceries to your car and unload it for you. Love this store. I drive over 20 miles to shop here.

You can not beat the friendly atmosphere. Meat selections; great cuts and not carried by other stores... Minute steaks!!! Round steak... I also think they have a great deli!

The staff were friendly I felt safe FROM THEM, they were taking precautions wearing masks. HOWEVER many people were NOT wearing masks. B&W Pharmacy in Beverly REQUIRES shoppers to wear masks or DO NOT ENTER. I feel Sponeys should require this if all shoppers. I always am sure to wear one to protect myself, the staff and other shoppers. I would expect the same

Small town store. Just remember our small town stores can not carry the prices that super chains can. Though prices are a bit high, continue to support our small town markets , they need your business!
