Slow staff. Store hours constantly changing. Very frustrating.Edit: 2 weeks later.. still random handwritten store hours. Currently closing at 5pm.Edit: Needed a propane tank. “Oh, sorry… I can’t find the paper to scan that.” Made no attempt to actually find it. Absolutely terrible management.Edit: Today… Self checkout was closed. Manager admitted they just turned it off. I said it seems like the customer is an afterthought. She was like…. Oh that’s very hurtful. ???!!!

Stopped here for a drink while riding to Amish County. The heat index was through the roof and needed a cold drink. Their cold drink selections was very limited.

Sure would be nice if they'd stay open the hours the signs says. Always hand written notes on the door about closing early.

Prone to close early with NO posted hours on the door, or a sign saying “sorry we had to close early” like MOST businesses are doing these days. Website and Google say they close at 10:00 but have found them closed numerous times before 9:00. So watch what time you go there and be prepared to shop at WallyWorld instead 🙄…Otherwise the Workers are pretty good during the day. Nicest people I have experienced in a DG store.

I went to this location on a trip to Berlin several months ago. The staff their was very nice and polite and were willing to help. The store was better organized than their counterpart locations. The only drawback would be that they close early in that section of Ohio down south in Amish Country but that comes with the territory. It was also very clean for a dollar store and the staff was on top of things as well. If I travel this way again on a trip- I might stop in again.

This place started out great when they opened but now it just seems to always be full of unemptied boxes of stuff to put on shelves and they seem to block a lot. I know they have to get things out but it just always seems to be that way. And other stores I go into that are Dollar general never really have this issue. Hope it gets resolved because it's nice to have in town.

Cluttered and not easy to move around. Metal cages of products on many aisles and back aisle full of 3to4 metal carts. Grey plastic boxes stacked 5 high 4/5 stacks around registwr area hard to get around. Cashier was polite and quick. Almost robotic like. Makes me miss the times when shopping was more casual and not rushed. You actual had time to talk with employees. I'm sure they are on a time frame and pushed to meet deadlines. For that I am saddened.

So nice not to have to drive a 14 mile round trip on a Sunday just for charcoal from Walmart. Very convenient. Listen for the strange "whump" sound that the giant air conditioner makes several times a minute. This has been happening since the day it was built. Not a bother, just strange. Nice store with lots of items.

Great service and great employees who are very patient! They have a huge grocery selection along with all the other goodies Dollar General is know for! The store is super easy to find and also has a place to tie up your horses while you shop!

I love this store. I shop here often because it's one of the best cleanest well stocked store out of all the DGs in our area. However today the shelves were empty and boxes were blocking every isle

Been in this store numerous times. Wasn't until recently that the store has been cleaned up and easier to shop in. The employees are so friendly and helpful. Management went above and beyond to help me with what I needed. Will definitely shop here more often. Thank you dollar general!

This is a larger Dollar general. It stay open later than most stores in the area. Plenty of groceries and things to buy. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We found eggs, crackers, mayo, ice, everything that we needed. It's in the heart of Berlin. Easy access to the main road. Easy on , easy off.

They close at 10 but I am here at 9 pm and the doors are locked . People are coming and checking the doors as well. There is no sign on the door about what's going on. Store hours plate is empty. Pretty dissapointed..

I didn't say I hated it. I just hit the1st star. It's a fine store but I did not go in cuz I didn't need anything. I just drove 2 Amish ladies there.

Store was kind of a mess, but staff were very friendly! They're probably just trying to regroup from the holiday rush. Good location for travelers who have forgotten things.

The customer service year was incredible my nephew leaves for the Marines next month so they gave me an 11% discount for a family member serving for the Armed Forces God bless these wonderful ladies that run the store :-)

Short staffed but the only employee was as prompt as possible & friendly. Perhaps if DG paid living wages & provided benefits they could attract more great employees.

Called ahead to ask if they have helium birthday balloons. Manager said they do , but when I got there the clerk was very rude and obviously did not want to be bothered. Would defiantly go somewhere else next time. Please if you don't want to sell them, don't carry them.
